Chapter 19
Aria's POV
Why is Lucas teasing me? I exited my room, and Lucas was still standing outside, smiling at me as if he wanted to tease me.
"How come you're smiling at me like that? Is there a problem with my face? Or you want to tease me?" I asked Lucas, and I noticed his left hand hiding something I couldn't see.
"What are you concealing in your left hand?" I inquired of him.
"It's a gift for your birthday that I forgot to give you because of what happened at Isaac's bar," Lucas explained as he showed me a small and heavy box.
"I'll open it when I get home; what time?" I asked him while going downstairs.
"It's already 8:00 p.m., and Wyatt is preparing dinner for us," Lucas said, astounded.
"I need to notify my parents about my late arrival, so they don't become concerned," I told Lucas, pulling out my phone from my pocket.
"You don't have to do that; I'll take care of you tonight, and I'll tell your parents why you were late," Lucas said as I slid my phone back into my pocket.
"All right, let's eat dinner now," I said, and we arrived at the dining area, where I noticed Wyatt cooking in the kitchen.
"Good day, master!" I smiled when I heard Irish and saw her hugging me.
"Did you already miss me?" I asked her, and she's still hugging me, and it's up to me to let go.
"You mentioned earlier that you hadn't tasted Wyatt's cooking; now you can eat the food he cooks!" I was taken aback when Jaxon said this, and Lucas pointed to the middle chair.
"Why am I sitting in the middle?" I asked, and Lucas agreed to let me sit.
"Because you've always sat in the middle because you're our master," Lucas said. I didn't say anything as I looked at the food Wyatt cooked while wearing a kitchen apron.
"By the way, Wyatt, what are you cooking?" I asked Wyatt, who was cooking in front of us.
"I'm making a fillet steak with gremolata, and I hope you enjoy it," Wyatt said. It was a wonderful smell as the beef steak cooked in the pan, and he chopped some garlic, rosemary, thyme, bay leaf and added chicken stock.
"I'll be making my gremolata in a moment," Wyatt says as we watch.
Wyatt gathers some lemon zest, parsley, and capers. He begins seasoning it with salt and pepper, mixing it, and preparing the steak in front of us.
"Are those your personal knives?" While gently cutting the steak, I asked Wyatt.
"Yes, they are custom made just for me," Wyatt replied as he prepared the dishes and topped them with steak sauce.
"Here you go, fillet with gremolata," Wyatt said after placing it to me.
"Wyatt, thank you for the food," I said, and everyone began to eat.
While we were eating, I smiled at the other protectors. They were conversing; however, as I was about to pick up the glass with juice, I noticed a red laser in the glass and was shocked.
"Everyone, get down!" I yelled, and they did as I shouted.
"Everyone, grab your weapons now! The enemy has arrived; we must protect our master at all costs!" Lucas said, and he picked me up right away.
"Lucas, what are you doing? I'm also going to fight!" I said to him, and he looked at me as chaos surrounded us.
"You can't right now, master; you don't know how to fight, and the Auxier hasn't awakened yet," Lucas said, creating a barrier for me.
"Stay here and be quiet; we'll take care of them," Lucas said as I noticed Ezekiel approaching me.
"Don't worry, master, I'll protect you." He added; I noticed the other protectors had their weapons ready.
"Do you believe it's Kai?" I heard Irish say something, and when I heard the name Kai, my head started hurting.
I hold my head to fight the pain I'm feeling; I look out the window. The windows are shattered from the bullets, I see a man holding a weapon that I don't know what it is, and he smirks.
"He's a terrifying person," I said, and Ezekiel gave me a look.
"He is because he is a member of Blawnox and has been our enemy for a long time before we met you," Ezekiel explained. I nodded, but my head was still hurting.
"Are you all right, master? Is there something wrong?" Ezekiel asked, and when he realized I was in pain, my head began to hurt more.
"I don't know why my head hurts when I saw that man is our enemy and heard his name," I said, pointing to the man with whom the other protectors were fighting. I noticed a person wearing a battle outfit.
"You will perish today! So hand over the Auxier Stone, and I'll spare your life!" It was a person who was being controlled by someone. I saw a man holding a Dragunov and using his power to control the person, a man dressed in black and blue.
"Can you tell me who that man with the gun is?" I asked Ezekiel, and he was quiet; he didn't respond.
"If you don't tell me because I haven't remembered anything yet, I'll fight now!" I said, forcing myself to break through the barrier Lucas had built for me.
"You can't master! This is not the time!" I heard Ezekiel but chose to ignore him.
I got past the barrier. I saw a dagger on the floor and dashed towards it, picking it up and facing the man who was being controlled by the enemy; I took my fighting stance.
"I see the Auxier within you! Please give me the Auxier Stone!" He demanded from me and used his sword to attack me, but I was protected by someone, and it was Lucas who kicked the sword away.
"Are you insane?! I said not to fight! Because you aren't prepared!" Lucas yelled, and I locked my gaze on him.
"I'd like to assist! I'm your master, and you must obey my commands!" I yelled, and he screamed in pain, and I was hurt. I also touched my chest because my heart was pounding.
I saw how everyone was hurt. After all, I yelled to obey my orders because I was their master.
"What occurred? Why were you offended by what I said?" I stuttered and knelt when I asked Lucas because my knees were numb.
"It's because you're the Auxier's Master; if you get angry or yell at us, we'll get hurt because you can't control your power yet," Lucas explained as I kept breathing heavily.
"I don't know what's wrong with me, Lucas; I'm in pain," I said, and I heard the man under the enemy's control.
"This is my chance to kill you!" I heard the man under the enemy's control.
"Ezekiel! Defend our master! Irish, be with Aria and strengthen her!" I heard Lucas, but then I noticed my glowing hand.
Lucas' POV
"Lucas! The Auxier is about to be awakened!" I heard Ezekiel, and when I looked at Aria, I noticed that she was glowing with a blue and violet aura.
"Finally! This is our opportunity!" When I heard Ryder speak, I used my dark power to attack the man he was controlling to fight.
"If Aria remembers you, you'll be dead; she'll be strong again, remember that!" I told Ryder that the man under control was now fainting in front of us.
I saw Ryder back away and heard Aria scream as she floated with a red aura and all the colors of the Auxier Power emanating from her body with different ambiances.
"What is going on, and why are the auras connected to us?" Logan inquired, and I knew it was because it was related to us.
"I will return! I will undoubtedly assassinate your new master! We will always be prepared!" Ryder stated that some auras pulled him, and Ryder's power was being pulled by the Auxier Power Auras.
"We have to stop Aria from doing this because she remembers everything!" I gave the order, and the other protectors nodded. As we used our power to stop Aria, I noticed her eyes glow red.
"Don't try to stop me!" Aria's voice echoed, and we were all hurt by her command.
Aria's entire body lost its red glow, and I saw her look at the other protectors before looking at me.
"Leave me alone!" Aria yelled, and the auras that were connected to her were severed. And I stopped her as she was about to approach Ryder.
"Consider what will happen if you kill Ryder right now! You remember everything, and I know you want to fight again, but not right now! Calm down. We'll get there; you need to relax," I said to Aria while holding her tightly, noticing her clothes changing.
Wearing black denim fitted shorts and a dress belt with matching long white sleeves, a black glove, and black leather over-the-knee boots. The shoulder pads are reddish and blackish, with a yellow lining through the arms and a blackish and whitish design.
"Lucas, take a look at your clothes; they've changed!" When I heard what Jaxon said, I looked at myself and realized it was true.
Because I'm holding Aria's hand, she stops approaching Ryder as he flees. Ryder has escaped, and we are now confused about our outfits; perhaps because Aria is now the eternal master, we have changed into our battle outfits.
"I'm sorry if I was reckless; I was just thinking about what happened in the past." Aria stated, and the battle outfits we're wearing vanish, and we don't know how we'll see them again."
"It's okay. Just look at me and cry everything will be alright." I comforted Aria, and she looked at me. I noticed her both sides of her eyes had gold color, which was disappearing, and her eyes were now light violet.
"Did you know you're now the Auxier's eternal master?" I asked Aria, and she nodded. I touched her face and wiped her side of the lips because there was blood on them.
"Is it still painful?" When I asked, Aria shook her head and hugged me. Aria now remembers the past, and the battle is about to resume; we will make things right this time.
"I really miss you!" Aria said, and I hugged her because she now remembers everything. She knows I've loved her for a long time and that we're a couple. I've been looking forward to this for a long time.
