Chapter 64
Aria's POV
After we finished the food Wyatt and Isaac served, I looked at Lucas, who was drinking his wine, and when I looked at mom, she smiled at me. They'll be staying here tonight, and I'll need to wait until their flight to Skotxh.
"I already booked a ticket for your parents, master, and verified their passports are ready to go," Jaxon said, shocking my parents.
"When is the flight?" Mom inquires.
"The available flight would take place. It's tomorrow, so I recommend you rest early, ma'am and sir." When they call them that, Jaxon responds, and I laugh.
"You don't have to call us ma'am and sir; just call us what Aria calls us," Mom said, and I was taken aback.
"Are you certain about that, Mom?" I inquired, and she nodded.
"Of course it's okay! Because your friends are like family to us, I don't mind if they call me mom and your father dad." Mom said this, and I smiled as Lucas tapped my shoulder.
When I saw Wyatt and Isaac cleaning the dining table, my parents and I stood up.
"You can sleep in my room, mom and dad," I told them, and they were taken aback.
"But we know you want to sleep alone?" Mom inquired.
"It's okay, I can sleep with you today; after all, it's the last day I'll be with you, right? So let us make the most of it before your flight tomorrow," I said to them. Mom and dad looked at each other.
"All right, where is your room?" Mom inquired, and I waved my hand to Lucas.
"I'm going up now," I told him, and he just nodded. My parents and I then went upstairs to my room.
When we arrived in my room, they entered and looked around, with dad sitting on the sofa and mom in my master bedroom.
"I know you want to sleep alone, Aria, but you can sleep in the bed, and we'll sleep here on the floor," mom replied, and I was taken aback by what she had just said.
"No! You will sleep on the bed, which is quite significant," I told her as I sat down on the bed.
"Aria, I have a question: did Lucas court you?" Mom was curious.
"Yes, he has in the past, and he still loves me although he has waited decades," I respond, and she touches my face.
"He's the one for you, I can feel it, and I notice that he's always looking at you. He's not taking his gaze away from you," mom said, making me laugh.
"I know that, mom, I notice that, but I'm used to it," I told her as my father lay down on the sofa.
"Looks like dad wants to sleep on the sofa," I said, making mom laugh.
"I should sleep as well, and if you want to sleep, you can sleep as well," mom said, and I nodded as she removed her flat sandals and lay down on the bed.
Mom said, "Goodnight, Aria," and I nodded.
After a few hours of my parents sleeping, I stood up from my seat on the bed and exited my room, where I saw Lucas waiting. Is he waiting for me to leave my room?
"What exactly are you doing here? I assumed you were in your room," I told him.
"I'm not going to sleep tonight because Kai might come here, and the other protectors aren't going to sleep either because we'll be on guard." Lucas clarified, and I was taken aback.
"You need to rest because we're going back to Auxier Place tomorrow, and my parents' flight is tomorrow," I told him.
"You should be sleeping right now. Christopher is also sleeping in the guest room because he wants to come with us to Auxier Place," Lucas added, which surprised me.
"You allowed him to come? We may endanger his life," I inquired of him.
"He'll ask you for permission because you're our master," Lucas said, causing me to sigh.
"I won't sleep if you don't; we can just talk on the roof if you want," I said, and he surprised me by moving me closer to him.
I felt his kiss, and he was holding my waist so tightly; I'm not sure what was wrong with him, but he let go of the kiss and hugged me.
"I finally kissed you today," Lucas said, and I laughed before following him to the rooftop.
When we arrived at the rooftop, I noticed the other protectors, who looked back at us.
"Master, you're also here!" I overheard Elias say something and saw Khalil talking to other protectors.
"I didn't realize you were here, but let's just talk here while my parents sleep," I told them, and I sat down while they built a bonfire here.
"Are we going to make something while we talk?" I inquired, and I observed Wyatt preparing to cook some barbeque and preparing some sauce and black coal for the grill.
"Didn't we just finish eating, and now we're eating again?" Irish said as she approached the bonfire.
"It's for people who want to eat it, as our master," Wyatt said, and I laughed as I saw Ezekiel talking to Khalil.
"Ezekiel isn't much of talk. Is he okay?" When I asked, Irish became sad.
"He's waiting for the punishment. You didn't mention it after you remembered everything," Irish added as I turned to face Lucas.
"Is it in the rules to punish him? What if I don't feel like punishing him?" When I asked, Khalil and Ezekiel approached me.
"If you don't punish Ezekiel, he'll be out as your protector," Khalil said, and I jumped out of my seat.
"I can't harm one of my protectors; I understand why he betrayed us in the past, but it's all over now!" Lucas tapped my shoulder as I spoke.
"You are now the eternal master, and you understand what is right and wrong. You should punish him however you see fit," Lucas stated, and I became depressed.
"But I'll be angry at myself if I hurt him," I said as I noticed Ezekiel approaching.
"I'll be fine, master; I think it's a good time to punish me right now," Ezekiel said as he stepped back from us.
"How should I proceed? What am I going to do to punish someone?" My hands were trembling right now when I asked Khalil.
"Use your electric or dark power to punish him; it's a powerful power that can be used for punishment," Khalil suggested, and I lifted my hand, then used my electric power to punish him as the clouds in the sky began to change and the other protectors backed away.
The electricity hit him twenty times, and I heard Ezekiel scream, and I was afraid my parents would listen to it.
"My parents would hear if I continued," I explained.
"They won't; I'll play a trick on them, and they'll wake up tomorrow," Lucas said, and I used my electric power on Ezekiel five times more.
"I'm sorry..." I murmured, then kneeled because I'm angry and sad right now.
"You don't need to apologize, Aria; you just need to get used to the fact that if one of your protectors betrays you again, you will punish them even if they made a mistake," Khalil clarified. Lucas hugged me right away.
"If you didn't betray us, Ezekiel, this won't happen," Aiden said as Ezekiel kneeled down, and I felt an Irish hand tap my back.
"Would you like some water, master?" I nodded when Irish offered me some water.
