Chapter 5
Third person's POV
Before the battles begin, Drax Genesis, the prince of the Auxier Kingdom, constructs the secret chamber at the Library because he knows he will die in the war with the nine Auxier protectors. Drax is the younger brother of Dex Genesis, the next Crown King.
"Everything is ready, master," Lucas knelt as he entered the Library, and Drax was almost caught about the secret chamber.
"Thank you for informing me; I know this may be the last time you will serve me, so call the others and go outside the Kingdom to prepare," Drax said to Lucas as he stood up, shocked.
"What exactly are you saying, master? You will not die because we are here to protect you and will remain loyal to you until the end." Lucas said this as Aiden entered the Library because he had been following Lucas.
"What exactly are you doing here, Aiden? I told you to help the others get ready." Lucas inquired of Aiden, who remained silent.
"Don't be angry at him. He just wanted to follow you; I can feel it," Drax said, and Lucas remained motionless.
"You two should go now; I'll follow you; I have something to do before the battle." As the two exited the Library, Drax informed Lucas.
Drax walked to the end of the bookshelf and picked up the mathematical book; the bookshelf moved, and he went down to the Secret Chamber. He touched the chair in the center of the big round table, smiling because the workers he hired to build the secret chamber were successful.
"The new master should be from the Auxier Kingdom. I hope they will never be like me, who doesn't trust the nine protectors due to selfishness," Drax muttered to himself as he injured his hand and poured blood into every chair.
Drax went upstairs after doing what he did in the secret chamber that he created after the chairs changed their appearance and the design became the Auxier City. As he walked out of the Library and toward the Auxier Kingdom's exit, he noticed his brother Dex approaching him.
"Good luck, brother; I hope you come back alive. Our father relied on us. But you use the Auxier Stone only for your own sake," Dex said as he tapped Drax on the shoulder.
Drax didn't mind what Dex said because he was leaving the Auxier Kingdom, and the nine protestors were waiting for him. Drax motioned the nine protectors to stand up as they knelt before their master.
"Let's go to war!" Drax spoke up, and everyone mounted their horses.
The nine protectors rode their horses, including Drax, as he considered how to kill himself or let the enemy kill him; he wanted to let go of the Auxier Stone inside his body and die without regret, but he knew that the Auxier Stone would deny his life. He would never be chosen as the Master of Auxier.
When they arrived at the battleground, Drax noticed an opponent named Eleanor Reed. Eleanor possesses the stone of evil power, but Drax contains the Auxier Stone, the most powerful of all stones.
"Why don't you fight me without your nine protectors, Drax? Isn't that a fair duel? Then we'll know who has truly won here!" Eleanor stated that Drax and the nine protectors also dismounted as he dismounted his horse.
"I know I'll be the only one to win this because I'm not evil like you, I don't have evil powers, and I don't kill innocent people!" Drax said this as he touched his sword and let it emerge from its sheath.
"Charge!" Drax signaled to his nine protectors, who nodded and attacked Eleanor's men as Drax approached Eleanor.
"See? I'm just letting them kill all your men before attacking you because the nine protectors will not protect me." Eleanor smirked as he struck Drax, as Drax said.
"You're not capable of what you're doing right now, and I can see in your eyes that you're going to fail right now in our battle!" Eleanor stated, and he used his evil power against Drax.
Drax and Eleanor are fighting each other, and Drax uses his Auxier Stone Power, teleportation, to avoid Eleanor's attacks. He would rather die by his hand than be killed by someone else.
"Strange? Are you evading my evil power attacks? Are you planning something on me, but it won't work because I can tell you're feeling something inside your head that's causing you to lose focus and can't think straight," Eleanor observed, and Drax clenched his fist while holding his sword because Eleanor can sense people's emotions.
"It's none of your business if I avoid your attacks and your evil power," Drax said, using his teleportation and electricity power with dark power on it.
Lucas and Aiden noticed Drax acting strangely, so they approached Drax and Eleanor, who were fighting, and intervened in their fight.
"Master, we will assist you in killing Eleanor," Aiden said. Drax pushed Aiden away as Eleanor used his evil power, and Drax was hit instead.
"Master!" The nine protectors knew that the evil power had harmed their master, but Drax smiled because he was now free of Auxier Stolen.
"My predictions have come true! I'm the victor! My triumph is complete! Give me the Auxier Stone as soon as possible!" Eleanor said as Lucas and others glared at him.
Combine their abilities to assassinate Eleanor, and the nine protectors looked at their Master as Eleanor vomited blood and knelt lifeless on the ground. Drax allowed the Auxier Stone to leave his body.
"What exactly are you doing, master? Ezekiel can heal your wounds!" As Lucas spoke, Drax tapped him on the shoulder.
"Stop! It would be best if you let me go; I'm not worthy of it. Auxier will found its new owner, and I'm sure all of you will be summoned again if the time comes." Drax stated that the fact that the Auxier Stone glows violet indicates that Drax's life has been denied.
"Do you see that? The Auxier Stone denied my life, and I will never be your master again, so you must be with someone valuable and trustworthy and powerful enough to trust the nine of you." Drax said this as he vomited blood, as the evil power had turned into a curse in his body.
"I'm selfish, so I'm sorry if I used you all for my benefit only and didn't treasure your kindness to me," Drax said as he smiled, his last breath.
"Why didn't he tell us? If you are honest with yourself, there is nothing to worry about, and we will understand. We will wait another eighteen years, and I did not expect this to happen to us." As the nine protectors glowed and vanished, Isaac said.
They will be summoned once more if the Auxier finds a trustworthy and worthy chosen one to be the master. Years had passed by, and the nine protectors remain in the kingdom's Auxier Chamber, unknown to the people who live there. The nine protectors patiently await their new master, hoping that the right full one will be their master and use the Auxier Stone.
