Chapter 23

Lucas's POV

We discussed the Auxier, and Aria requested that I teach her about fighting and martial arts. I believe I will notify my human resource manager that I urgently require someone to work in my position temporarily.

"Can you tell me what you're thinking right now?" Aria asked, and I turned to face her because I had noticed my head was down.

"I thought I should get someone to work temporarily as a CEO or an assistant; I'm not sure who," I told Aria, who tapped my shoulder.

"There's more time to think. I'm not rushing you to teach me. You know I can wait." Aria said as she smiled at me, and I smiled back.

"Thank you for understanding me; I promise that the results will be positive when I teach you," I told Aria as I looked at the wall clock.

What do you want to eat for lunch? Do you want to eat at the cafeteria? I'll have my secretary buy it for you." Aria thought about it when I asked her.

"Maybe we can eat outside? Is that all right with you?" Aria asked, and I was taken aback.

It's all right! "Where would you like to eat?" I asked her, then stood up to get my coat.

I'd like to dine at a Japanese restaurant! I saw it on social media. It's close to where I live. It looks delicious, "Aria said to me." I simply smiled, possibly because it was her first time visiting a Japanese restaurant.

Okay, Japanese restaurant it is. We will go there, but let me inform my secretary that I will eat outside. "He will let me know if there is anything important," I told Aria, who nodded and stood up.

I went outside the office and saw my secretary at his desk; I saw he was on the phone.

"Sir! What can I do to assist you?" My secretary inquired.

"I'll eat outside with Aria; you can eat now because it's lunchtime; I'll be back," I told my secretary, who stood up.

"Please notify me if you will be late after lunch," he said, and I nodded as I returned to my office.

"Let's go. This will be our date today," I said to Aria, who held my hand as we exited the office. My secretary was about to leave as well, but he bowed to me with respect.

We went to the elevator, and my secretary went in the opposite direction because he knew Aria was my girlfriend. I squeezed Aria's hand, knowing she'd look at me.

"Do you have something to say about why you squeezed my hand?" Aria inquired, and I simply smiled at her.

We arrived at the ground floor, the parking lot, and began to walk toward my sports car. I opened the door for her, and she entered; I opened the door for myself, and I entered; I buckled my seat belt, and she did as well.

I started the engine and began driving. I noticed a red light while driving. I look at Aria, who is now on her phone and continues to scroll.

I was shocked to see a spiritual animal; I can't believe the Auxier has such a secret, "I told Aria, and the light turned green.

I couldn't believe it either, and I think the Auxier chose Khalil because I saw him in my dream last night," Aria said, and I was stunned.

"You saw him in your dream, but what does that mean?" While driving, I asked her a question.

I don't know why, but I think Auxier was trying to tell me something, or maybe I should figure out what happened, or maybe it's a sign." Aria said, and I nodded because she was right. Auxier sometimes gives us a hint that something bad is happening.

I mean, the half Auxier Stone is inside of me and the other protectors, and it was hinting at what we should do next, but right now I'm having a normal dream. After a minute, I arrived at the Japanese restaurant, which was a ramen restaurant, and I parked the car. I unbuckled my seat belt, and Aria did as well.

"Do you think this is a good ramen restaurant?" Aria said, and I locked the doors of my sports car, and then we approached the waiter in front, who is in charge of guiding the customers.

"Hello, sir, and welcome to our ramen shop! If you prefer, we have a private room where I will serve you," the waiter said.

"I'll take that room, and may I first see the menu?" I inquired, and he handed me the menu, which I let Aria read.

"Pick what set of ramen you want to eat," I told Aria, and she is now looking at the menu while I am looking at the people entering the restaurant.

"Let's go for a Set B Beef Noodle Ramen with drinks and a beef udon with rice, as well as some sushi for the side dish," Aria suggested, and the waiter nodded.

We followed the waiter as he led us to our private room, and Aria looked inside, smiled, and I sat down, followed by her.

"I'll photograph us and post it in the group chat so the other protectors can see us." Let's make the other protectors envious!" Aria laughed as she set up her phone's front camera and we took a selfie.

"I'm sure Jaxon would react right away, and then Aiden," I told Aria, who laughed for a minute, and then the food we ordered arrived.

"This is absolutely delicious! It has a pleasant odor. Let me first take a picture! After the waiter left us, I let her take a picture first, and I'm glad she's happy now." Aria continued,

"Let's eat right now!" Aria yelled, and we began to eat. While we were eating, I heard a notification on my phone, and I knew someone had responded to Aria's message.

"Look at them! They're envious that we're eating at a Japanese ramen restaurant!" Aria said this while eating ramen, and we were both having a good time.

After we finished eating, the waiter returned with the bill, and I calculated how much I would pay. I took out my wallet and paid the bill, plus an additional tip for the waiter.

"That was excellent! Are you ready to return to my company, or would you like to go somewhere first?" I asked Aria while she was applying lipstick and looking in her small mirror.

"We can't go anywhere because you still have work to do; let's go back to your company, and then after your work, we can go home together," Aria said, and I simply nodded before standing up.

"Then let's go," I said, and she stood up as well; I held her hand as we exited the private room.

We approached my sports car after leaving the Japanese restaurant and went inside; after buckling our seatbelts, I started the engine and drove. While I'm driving, I notice Aria is looking out the window and not using her phone.

"Do you not want to use your phone right now?" I asked while driving because I sensed she couldn't talk to me and I could sense her shyness.

"I don't want to, and I can look outside for a better view," Aria said, her voice stuttering slightly.

"Are you feeling nervous right now?" I inquired.

"No! I am not! Concentrate on your driving!" I'm glad she's back with us, she said, and I laughed.
