Chapter 57

Aria's POV

After a while, I was awakened by the sound of footsteps outside, as if there were a large crowd outside the door of our room; tomorrow, we would return home and check out of the five-star hotel. I look at Lucas, who is still sleeping, and notice that he didn't hear the footsteps outside because he was asleep.

I was about to get out of bed when Lucas grabbed my hand. I looked at him; he was already awake, and I was unsure why he was trying to stop me.

"Why are you attempting to obstruct my progress? You said Kai's men were here, correct? Perhaps we can fight them right now?" I told him, and all he did was shake his head.

"I just put a trick at the door, making it look like a wall, and they'll never find our room, but this is only temporary. So go back to rest, and you need to sleep, and when the time comes, we'll fight them." Lucas said this as he laid me down.

"But I'm worried if they come in here," I said, pointing to the large window.

"I'm here, so you don't have to worry about it. I'm not sleeping, I'm just pretending to sleep so you can sleep well, and I can sense Khalil watching over us from afar," Lucas clarified. He hugged me, which is why I sighed.

"Okay, I'll go back to sleep now. I know I'm safe with you, but if something serious happens, you need to wake me up immediately," I told him, and when I looked at him, he nodded.

"Goodnight, once more," Lucas replied as he kissed my forehead, and I closed my eyes to sleep again.

As I opened my eyes from my dream, I saw a man standing in front of me, wearing a red cape, and when he turned to face me, I was surprised to see my father, the King of Auxier Kingdom.

"Is that you, Father? In my dream, what are you doing?" I asked him, and I was surprised when he hugged me.

"Yes, it is I. You grow up so quickly, my little daughter; I hope you have the freedom you've always desired." I let go of his hug and stepped back.

"I'm already free, and I don't need you in my life; you forced me to marry someone I didn't love and don't even know who he is," I told him, and I was surprised when blood poured from his eyes, and he vanished from view.

I found myself in the garden of Auxier Kingdom, where I noticed Mom looking at the flowers. She came to a halt, turned to face me, smiled, and hugged me. I'm not sure why I'm dreaming about her right now.

"I'm sorry for everything; I hope you forgive me, my sweet little princess," she said, and when I let go of her hug, she vanished, and the scene changed again, and I saw a man I couldn't recognize.

I step back because I must figure out if Kai is manipulating my dream now. When he turned around, I noticed Lucas dressed in his battle outfit. Then he opened his arms as if inviting me to hug him, which is why I ran to him and hugged him so tightly.

"Do you know how long I've been hoping you would like me?" When I let go of Lucas' hug, I looked at him.

"I had no idea you liked me, but now I only like and love you!" I exclaimed to him, seeing how the scene changed again, but Lucas was still standing in front of me, smiling.

"I won't abandon you as your parents did, they already abandoned your rights and what you want," Lucas quickly replied. I nodded before closing my eyes and waking up.

"Did you get enough sleep?" I looked at Lucas when I heard him ask me.

"I do sleep well," I said, and as soon as I stood up, I approached him and hugged him.

"What's the problem? Did you have another nightmare?" Lucas was curious.

"Almost, but you came into my dream, so it didn't continue," I told him, and he hugged me back.

"I'm glad I'm back in your dream to save you," Lucas said, and I smiled as I saw the breakfast food the hotel had prepared for us.

"What did the restaurant serve us? Or did you request it?" I inquired of him. I took a seat at the dining table's chair.

"I ordered it at the hotel restaurant and thought of you because you might like it," Lucas said as I began to eat.

"I like this," I told him, pointing to a perfectly prepared club sandwich.

There was also corned beef with a sunny-side-up egg, fried rice, bacon, beef strip meat, and hot coffee from the hotel.

After we finished our breakfast, I stood up and went to take a shower; Lucas had finished his breakfast, and I was surprised to see him enter the bathroom as well.

"Are we going to have sex this early in the morning?" When I asked him, he just smiled and kissed me.

"I'm not going to have sex with you; I just want us to take a shower together," Lucas said, and I undressed, followed by him.

We've both seen our bodies, so there's nothing to be embarrassed about.

"I bought you some clothes; I hope you like them," Lucas stated, and I had no idea what time he did that.

"When did you begin to leave the room?" I asked him, and I filled the bathtub with water because we were both naked simultaneously.

"5:00 a.m. I thought no shop was open then, but I was wrong. They have their clothing shop that is open 24 hours," he said, and I went inside after filling the bathtub.

"All right, what kind of clothes did you buy?" When I asked him, he went inside the bathtub, also carrying soap and shampoo.

"I bought a couple of shirts for us," Lucas said, making me laugh because he likes that clothing.

"I didn't realize you wanted a couple of shirts for us," I replied, and I felt him scrub my back and then my front, gently groping at my breasts.

"I just thought of it while you were sleeping, thank goodness Kai's men left at 3:00 a.m. they couldn't find us," Lucas said, and after washing my entire body, he shampooed my hair.

"I know, but Kai doesn't know how to give up, but I think he thought we were here, and thanks to your trick, it worked well," I told him, and he poured some water on my head and body to wash away the shampoo he had applied.

"You put soap on my body and shampoo on my hair also, please," Lucas said, making me laugh.

I turn to face him, and he is already facing the back. I put soap on his body, and while doing so, I accidentally touch his dick, which is erected. I was stunned and nervous throughout my entire body.
