Chapter 55

Lucas's POV

I returned from buying some food after we made love at the five-star hotel where we checked in, and I believe Aria is still sleeping because I told her to sleep and rest. When I picked up my phone in the elevator, I saw the other protectors' messages on group chat.

Logan: Lucas, what have you done to our master? We noticed an aurora in the sky, which Khalil identified as your dark power auras and Aria's Auxier Power Aura.

Jaxon: I'm concerned right now! I believe Kai will know where you are!

Irish: I believe they made love for today; I can read Aria's expression these few days!

Ezekiel: Please look after our master Lucas; I'm also concerned because I don't want what happened in the past to happen again.

Christopher: What have you done to my sister? I swear I'll kill you with my bare hands!

Aria: Please relax, I'm fine, and yes, we had sex or made love today because it's obvious we loved each other, and we did it for another reason.

I was surprised to see Aria's message, and the time was when I left her; when the elevator doors opened, I was on the 12th floor. When I exited the elevator and entered the room, I felt something close to me, but when I looked around, there was no one.

I opened the door and went inside to find Aria sleeping in her bathrobe only, so I smiled and approached her. I noticed she turned her phone silent, possibly because she didn't want the other protectors to disturb her sleep.

I set the food I had ordered from the hotel restaurant on the table, approached Aria, and kissed her on the cheek, but then I saw the aurora form again. When I moved away from her, the aurora connections vanished.

When I looked outside, I noticed the aurora was fading. I'm not sure about the aurora connections, but I love Aria, and we made love. That, I believe, is why we form an aurora with the combination of our power auras.

"Aria, I'm here; the food you requested is here; wake up," I said to her, and she moved but didn't open her eyes, so I sat beside the bed.

I tap Aria on the back, and she moves again, opening her eyes and staring at me.

"I'm still tired; can I sleep longer?" Aria yawned, and I noticed her violet eyes glowing.

"You can, but I'm lonely and don't have anyone to talk to," I tease her, and she smiles.

"We'll talk about the aurora later, but you should rest because you're tired more than me because you moved a lot," Aria said, and I took off my shoes and lay beside her.

"Aren't you chilly? You're not wearing anything other than the bathrobe; do you want my sweater?" I inquired of her.

"I don't need it; I'm already using my power to warm myself," she clarified, making me laugh because I had forgotten she had her own power.

I let her sleep again, and when I look at the ceiling, I can't sleep, and when I'm with her, I already have my energy back. When I face her, I touch her face, expecting the aurora to appear again, but now I understand.

If I kiss or make love to her, the aurora will appear. After an hour of staring at her, she opened her eyes, curious.

"Didn't you sleep?" Aria inquired as she awoke, and I shook my head.

"I'm already resting just by looking at you," I told her, noticing her cheeks turning red.

"I want to eat now. Where is the food that you bought?" Aria said, rising from her bed.

"I brought pasta, chicken nuggets, fries, ramen, sushi, and the milk tea you requested with 20% sugar only," I told her, and she was surprised.

"Didn't I say chicken nuggets and fries with classic milk tea only?" Aria said as she approached the table.

"You're not the only one who's going to eat, you know? I brought that l from the hotel's restaurant and the milk tea, well they make it here too, the price is high, but I can afford it," I told her as I sat down.

"Let's talk about the aurora. I almost forgot about it, the other protectors were shocked about it, and I can't believe the sky has an aurora, too," Aria added before eating.

"I can't believe it either because it's the first time it's happened, maybe because you're the eternal master, and you already have a deep connection to it," I told her, and she nodded.

"I discovered that when I kissed and made love with you, there would be an aurora again," I told her, and she was surprised.

"Really? What about a hug?" Aria was curious.

"I didn't know about it, but it appears that the aurora will not appear," I said, and I was surprised when she stood up.

She approached me and hugged me, but when Aurora did not appear, Aria stopped hugging me and returned to her seat.

"You are correct. It's just kissing and sex," Aria said, continuing to eat.

"Do you like the food?" I asked her, and she nodded before sipping the milk tea through the straw.

"What are we going to do after we eat?" Aria inquired.

"We're going to spend the day at a hotel and talk about something. Then tonight will be about making love." She was taken aback when I said this to her.

"Sex late at night? That's fine with me." Aria said, and I smiled.

After eating, I heard a notification on my phone; when I looked at it, it was the group chat. When I looked at it again, I only saw Elias' conversation.

Elias: Khalil told us something, and it appears Kai's men are staying at the hotel where you are.

"Who sent you a text?" Aria inquired, and I looked at her.

"Elias said Kai's men are here at the hotel," I told Aria, who looked surprised but smiled.

"Let them be here; remember, I can summon the other protectors?" Aria clarified with assurance; I smirked.

"You're right, and I'm ready to fight at any time," I told her, and she finished her meal and is now drinking her milk tea.

"Since we already had this sex, I'm hoping it will happen in your house," I told Aria, who was surprised.

"In your home? If we do that, the other protectors might hear us, "Aria stated, and I laughed.

"They won't interfere, and you can moan loudly in my room because it's soundproof," I told her, and she looked perplexed.

"Why you didn't tell me that? Why did you choose to have sex here in the hotel?" Aria inquired.

"Because it's your first time, I want it to be memorable, which is why I chose the 5-star hotel in this expensive room just for the two of us," I told her. She didn't respond, instead of sipping from the straw.

I got up to clean the table, and then Aria sat on the bed, looking through her phone. I smirk as I look at the door and feel Kai's men. I used some tricks to manipulate the door and change it to a wall only.
