Chapter 60
Aria's POV
"We're here. Look at that gate. It's still there; it looks like there's no change," Jaxon said, and we got out of the van as I observed the large gate that had rusted over the years.
I look around the Auxier Kingdom and see that nothing has changed except that it has grown old. I walk to the kingdom where I lived in the past. When I saw the dusty throne where my father and mother sat, I noticed the crown was still there.
"What do you think? No one has come here in decades?" I inquired, and I approached the crown at the seat.
"It appears that they abandoned the kingdom for some reason and left the crown here," Wyatt said, and when I touched the crown, it had dust on it. The area was abandoned, the place was wrecked, and spider webs were present.
"It's strange. No one liked the crown of queen and king in the past," Irish said, and I pick up a queen's crown; I remember the time they forced me to marry.
"Wouldn't I die if I became a queen in the past?" When I look at the nine protectors, I blow the crown and whip it a little bit, and I wear the crown of the queen.
"You look good in that crown, but you can't accept something you don't like," Khalil added, and I removed the queen's crown.
"I have my crown like a princess, and I believe I'm still wearing it even though I've been buried," I told them, and Lucas stopped looking around.
"They didn't bury you; you're in the basement at the Auxier Kingdom, and we visit you once a year," Lucas clarified, and I was taken aback.
"Do you really love me that much?" I asked Lucas as the others smiled.
"You can go to your room; we'll just be here and yell if anything happens," Irish said, and I nodded, turning to face Lucas.
"Would you like to accompany me?" I inquired of him.
"Would you like me to?" Lucas inquired, and I nodded.
"Then let's go," he said, taking my hand in his and leading me to my old room.
As we arrived, I opened the door. As it screeched in my old room, the door was open. I went inside. It was dusty. All of the things I have are still here. As I observed, something came here, and when I looked at my bookshelf, it was ruined. The other things are on the floor. Someone barged into my room as if looking for something.
"Someone look in your room," Lucas observed as he looked around, and I went to bed and kneeled to see what was under the bed as I sneezed from the dust.
"I don't know who it is, but he or she is looking for something in my room, and I think he or she knows I am hiding something here," I told Lucas. I couldn't find the notebook where I listed Auxier's secret power, the curse power.
"So you're hiding something in here? Perhaps you should relocate it in case someone comes into your room." Lucas said, and I was thinking about the garden where I list the curse power, which is a secret power.
"Perhaps I change the location? I'm trying to remember it. I know I'm Nivia in the past, so I know I'll remember it through time," I said to Lucas as I walked out of my room.
I remember burying the notebook in the garden. I ran so fast to get there that the water in the fountain was already dirty, so I looked for the pot where I had buried it.
I saw the pot with the dead flowers because no one was caring for it, and no one had touched the pot; it is still in the place where I put it. I pick up the pot and dig it before touching the small notebook.
"I found it!" Lucas approached me with the notebook, and I said.
"What exactly is it? You didn't tell me about it, did you? "When I opened it, it was torn apart, and I was so surprised that I dropped the small notebook.
"What occurred?" Lucas unexpectedly said, and he picked up the small notebook while I was still stunned.
"Someone tore it, but how did he or she keep the pot in the same place?" Lucas tapped my shoulder as I inquired.
"I thought it was Kai. Maybe he did this using his power to tear it," Lucas suggested, and I sat down. The garden had died over the decade it had been neglected.
"I think he's looking for a cure for the curse that Auxier put in him," I told him, and Lucas sat beside me.
"Perhaps, but you didn't list the cure or if there is one." Lucas inquired.
"There is no cure. I just wrote it down because you didn't know about the curse power at the time, but you saw the Auxier use it to defend and protect me," I told him, and he wrapped his arm around me.
"We already know you don't need this notebook. Is there anything you want to see in your abandoned kingdom?" Lucas asked, and I smiled slightly.
"Yes, I'd like to see where my previous body was," I told him, and he was taken aback.
"Are you certain about that?" Lucas inquired, and I nodded.
"I'm sure! You don't need to be concerned about me because there's nothing to be concerned about," I said to him, holding his hand, and we stood up.
We're walking right now, and I saw the other protectors ahead of us walking as well, and I'm not sure where they're going.
"What are your plans?" When I asked, they looked behind them.
"Master! Are you done looking for something? We were about to explore the kingdom." Jaxon inquired.
"Lucas and I were going down where my previous body lays," I explained, and they were taken aback.
"You let her?" Logan inquired of Lucas.
"She wants to see it, and I know she'll be shocked when she sees herself," Lucas said as we continued walking.
"Let's go together," Irish said, and the other protectors joined us. Khalil remained silent as if nothing was going to happen.
We are now underground, and I saw some light and a body lying down in a white dress, so I approached it and looked at it. I was surprised to see myself and realize that I am not aging or turning into bones!
"Why didn't I turn into a bone? I should be bones right now, and the body should have decayed," I told them as I examined my entire body.
"We don't know, but I believe your previous body will never vanish while you are still alive. I believe Auxier has something planned for you in case you die again," Isaac added, and when I touch the face, that is me but my past body.
"Look at how it glows!" Irish said, and I noticed my chest glowing and a connection within my body.
"What is going on? It's creepy!" I said, seeing my previous body rise, but the eyes remained closed.
"I think it detected you, master. You don't need to be afraid because it just knows you're here," Khalil said, and I sighed because I was almost scared and ready to run, but why should I? I have special abilities.
My previous body went to lay down, and the glowing in my chest had faded, as had the connection within me.
"I thought the body would move and then talk," Jaxon said, and I laughed because he was scared.
"Let's get out of here," Lucas said, surprising me.
"Why? If nothing happens, we can just stay underground." I said this, and he pinched my nose.
"Do you want to sleep here with your previous body? What if your soul enters your previous body?" I pouted as Lucas responded.
"It won't enter, okay? Let's go, but we must put some barrier on it." I said to everyone, and they nodded as I placed my hand on the head of my past body to cast a barrier.
