Chapter 41

Third person's POV

"Korean food is absolutely delicious!" Aria said this after finishing her meal, and Lucas had finished his ice tea.

He took out his wallet to pay for the food, and after doing so, Lucas called the waiter over the intercom. The waiter came in, and Aria drank the mango shake that Lucas had ordered for her.

Lucas gave the waiter a generous tip, making him happy.

"Thank you very much for the tip! Sir, it will be beneficial. And please come again," The waiter thanked Lucas, and Aria fixed her hair because she had long black hair.

"I really like your hair; I wish you wouldn't cut it short," Lucas said to Aria, who blushed.

"I'm not going to cut it that short because I like my long hair the way it is." Aria stood up as well as they were about to leave.

Aria clutches Lucas's arm as they leave the VIP room and the Korean restaurant. She went inside first, followed by Lucas, and they buckled their seat belts before Lucas started his car and drove home.

A few minutes have passed. When they arrived at the house, Aria went inside first and entered the mansion, where she saw the other protectors waiting to greet her for her birthday. Aria noticed the cake at the dining table, a black forest cake, and Christopher was present, holding a gift just for her.

"Master, happy 22nd birthday!" The eight protectors greeted her by pooping out some party confetti. Aria smiled as she received a gift for the other protectors. She was unsure because it was only one box, while Khalil howled happily.

"I wonder what this is," Aria inquired as Christopher approached her.

"I have a gift for you; it will accompany you at night to make you comfortable," Christopher said, handing Aria a giant bunny stuff toy.

"Thank you, Christopher," Aria said as she hugged his brother and the giant stuffed toy bunny.

"You're welcome, this is all I can think of giving you, and I hope you like my gift," Christopher said as he approached the cake, which had candles on it, and Aiden lit one of them.

"Do you think anything bad would happen if I saw this fire?" Aria inquired, and they were concerned about what had occurred previously.

"I remember that, but I don't think it'll happen because you remember everything," Lucas said. Aria closed her eyes.

"I'll make a wish to be quiet," Aria said, not hearing anything from the protectors, Christopher and Khalil.

After making a wish, she blows out the candles, and everyone applauds. She wishes for victory if they fight the Blawnox again and the safety of the people who are important to her.

"What did you wish?" Lucas inquired of Aria.

"Why would I say that? My wish will not come true if I tell you," Aria said as she sat in the center, holding the giant bunny stuff toy.

"Where is your gift, Lucas? You didn't purchase one?" Logan asked Lucas, and Aria was taken aback, almost forgetting Lucas's gift.

"I almost forgot about you; where is my present?" Aria inquired of Lucas, but he simply sat beside her.

"You will see it after the party," Lucas said, and Aria pouted because she was eager to find out what gift Lucas had prepared for her.

"Let's keep drinking until we're drunk!" Jaxon said, and Aria smiled because she could finally drink some beer.

"I'm putting together a snack for our drinking session!" Wyatt said, and he had a snack with him that looked delicious, an ice bucket and a beer tower, and a cocktail tower that Isaac had made. Aria put down the giant stuffed toy, excited to drink.

Barbeques, chicken wings, onion rings, hot plate meals, pizza, fries, fish fillet, pork vegetable soup, and some grilled fish at Wyatt and Isaac's Aria's birthday party.

"Here's a drink for you, master," Isaac passed the cocktail drink because he was the one who filled the beer glass. A bucket of ice-cold beer was also present.

"Cheers!" Everyone said, and they drank the beer. At the same time, Khalil slept beside Aria because he couldn't drink because if the nine protectors were drunk, he would be the one to protect Aria.

Lucas didn't drink much because he knew Aria would be so drunk after drinking a lot. The other protectors were still conversing while the cake was half-eaten, and the snack that Wyatt prepared was almost gone after two hours.

"Stop drinking; you need to rest right now," Lucas suggested. Aria shocked Lucas by pushing his hand.

"You can't sleep here, so let's go to your room, and I'll help you get up." Lucas stood up as he spoke.

"Lucas, I believe our master is drunk. Look after him while we clean," Wyatt proposed while nodding.

"I think next time I should brew a beer that isn't too strong for our Master," Isaac suggested as he assisted Wyatt in cleaning the dishes and the beer tower.

"I believe that is sufficient for today, Lucas. You may now take her to her room," Christopher said, sipping his cocktail.

"I don't want to; I want to stay here," Aria said low voice due to her inebriation.

Lucas had no choice but to pick up Aria and assist her; she pushed Lucas away, but Lucas was strong; they went upstairs, and he opened Aria's room door.

"Put me down immediately, or I will punish you!" Aria yelled, and Lucas was triggered; he fell to his knees as the Auxier Stone reacted.

"You're completely inebriated! It's hurt!" Lucas said, and Aria was now quiet because she had lost consciousness.

Lucas looked at Aria and saw that she was already sleeping in his arms; he smiled and placed Aria on the bed before kissing her on the lips.

"Are you upset with me because I'm not interested in having sex with you today?" Aria moved and hugged Lucas as he murmured.

"Stay here for a while," Aria murmured, surprising Lucas.

"I can sleep here, no problem," Lucas said, touching Aria's face and smiling.

Lucas closed his eyes and was about to fall asleep when he felt Aria touch his face. He opened his eyes and thought Aria was awake, but she wasn't, and he was surprised to see Aria glowing.

He took Aria's hands away from him and observed what was happening to her, but it didn't appear to be hurting her.

"You can control your power tomorrow, and I can teach you how to use it again, but now rest. You're drunk," Lucas said quietly, and Aria opened her eyes.

"Lucas? What exactly are you doing in my room?" Aria inquired, and she was about to rise when Lucas intervened.

"You should go to bed now, and I'll prepare for our training tomorrow. I have a temporary employee willing to fill my position," Lucas added. Still, Aria will forget what they are discussing right now.

"That's great; I'm looking forward to learning more," Aria stated that her face was red from the intoxication that Isaac had caused, and she touched Lucas' hand.

Lucas' heart was racing because Aria was getting closer to him. Lucas touched Aria's waist and was about to kiss her again when Khalil entered the room.

"You can bring her into your room if you want to make love with her," Khalil said, surprising Lucas.

"That's not going to happen! Stop making fun of me!" Lucas said as he stepped back from Aria.

"You can go to sleep now because the other protectors are resting as well; I will protect Aria if anything happens to her because she's twenty-two years old now, and we must be prepared at all times," Khalil said as he placed the stuffed toy beside Aria.

"I know I can count on you that we must be prepared, so goodnight." Lucas then exited Aria's room.
