Aria's POV

It was already 7 p.m., and I was getting ready for the event tonight, which would be held on the rooftop; Lucas showed me the design of the place on the rooftop. I was already dressed in my picked maroon dress, and when I looked at Lucas, he was staring at his tablet.

The model she got today is beautiful, and her body is sexy; I can keep my body like that, but I need some strength because I'm Auxier's eternal master. I take a deep breath and am surprised to see Lucas looking at me.

"What are your current thoughts? Are you prepared for the occasion?" Lucas asked, and my cheeks warmed up.

"Why do you care what I'm thinking right now? And, of course, I'm prepared for the occasion," I questioned Lucas. And he stood up from his seat, and I was worried about what he would say.

"What are you doing, Lucas? Will you make me tell you what I'm thinking right now?" I told him, and he laughed as he pinched my cheek.

"I won't do that, though. Let's go to the top of the building and wait there. At 8:00 p.m., the event will start. We can see the sky from there, and my staff has already set up the place," Lucas said. He grabbed my hand, and I got up from my seat and grabbed my purse bag.

"Alright, let's go," I told Lucas, still wearing the same clothes. He's still cool even if he doesn't change his clothes. He was wearing a black suit, a black tie, and black leather shoes that were a good fit for his body.

We leave the office, and his secretary greets us once more.

"Are you planning on going to the rooftop, sir?" The secretary for Lucas inquired.

"Yes, please guide the visitors well, make sure the lighting and sound systems are in good working order, and tighten the security by placing security personnel in the venue." As we walk towards the elevator, Lucas advises his secretary, and his secretary nods.

Lucas pushed the rooftop floor button, and as it went up, I heard music inside the elevator. Lucas squeezed my hand, and I looked at him.

"Once the event has begun, I will introduce you to everyone and tell them that you are my special person," Lucas told me, and I nodded and smiled.

"Okay, do whatever you want," I told him, and the elevator stopped. The door opened, bringing us to the rooftop, where I noticed the sky was so beautiful tonight, and the venue was well-prepared by his staff.

"The moon is so beautiful. Where shall we sit?" I asked Lucas, and we walked in front of the stage, where he let me sit.

"What am I doing here? The audience will be perplexed and believe I am a new employee here," I told Lucas, and he just smiled as I picked up my phone.

"If you're hungry already, I can call the chef and have some food brought to you," Lucas said, and I noticed Logan had just arrived and appeared to be looking for us.

"Come over here, Logan!" I called him, and he looked at us, approached us, and sat down.

"Are you already here, or did you just arrive?" Logan inquires.

"We just arrived and are waiting for the event to begin; the audience is not yet present," I told Logan. When I opened my phone, I saw Christopher's message but didn't open it because I wanted to take a selfie and post it on social media.

After taking a selfie, I poke Lucas. He looks at the camera; we take a selfie, and I post it on social media with some emojis. After posting that, all of the protectors liked my post, making me giggle.

"Thank you for the likes," I commented on my social media account later, the audience arrived, and the event began.

I was genuinely shocked to see Kai Yarrow with his sister, Erza. Why are they here? I can't tell Lucas because it would ruin the event; I need to focus on something he won't notice.

The music began after a few minutes as the guests arrived, and the guest speaker introduced Lucas. Still nervous, I saw Kai smirking at the crowd. Did he know I was Nivia? Did he find out?

"Thank you for displaying your design, Mr. Yarrow! What is it again?" The guest speaker asked Kai.

"The dress's name is Star Dress," Kai said. Then I heard Lucas say something but couldn't listen because he was angry when I looked at him.

I take his hand in mine, and he looks at me.

"Everything will be fine; you are next," I said to him, and he nodded. He came to the stage, and I saw the beautiful Eternal Dress he designed.

The audience applauds, and I back up. I look for Kai Yarrow, but I can't find him; I believe he's Lucas's business rival, and he's trying to be cool like him.

"Are you searching for me?" I was surprised to hear Kai because he was behind me, and when I looked at him, he smirked.

"I can't believe I'm going to run into you here, Auxier Eternal Master." He said, and I backed away, surprised because I was at the far end of the building.

"I remember everything now. You are cursed, and you will die if you kill me right here," I warned him, and he just laughed a little while Lucas remained on stage.

"Are you trying to scare me? You are still young and unable to use your power, and the Auxier will be mine if I kill you right now." But I wasn't scared, he said.

"You're not going to get anything from me," I declared bravely and was surprised when the building began to shake.

"I'm not going to push you, but this will cause you to fall and die," Kai stated; I was surprised to fall and feel the wind.

I screamed that I couldn't use my powers, and I saw Lucas jump as high as possible. I knew he was worried and trying to reach me. I could keep up with him even though he moved quickly. The building was still shaking, and all the windows started to break.

It reminds me of the past when I fell and Lucas tried to reach me with his power. I saw his battle outfit change, and finally, he caught me and hugged me right away.

"Hold on tight; I'll use my dark power to land safely!" Lucas said, and I closed my eyes and hugged him tightly.

We land, and when I open my eyes, all I see is smoke because we fell from a high building. I notice Logan teleporting in front of us in his battle outfit.

"Master! Are you okay?!" Logan was also concerned, and I heard people screaming and the ground shaking on the rooftop.

"Kai Yarrow has arrived! He was the one who stole your idea!" I told Lucas that the battle outfit was not wearing off.

"What should we do? Lucas's battle outfit is not wearing off? Should I use mine as well?" I asked Lucas, and I saw him use his dark power to keep the building from collapsing.

"Logan, call the other protectors, it's an emergency, and we need to protect Aria," Lucas ordered Logan. Earlier I was terrified and thought I was going to die.

I felt my tears, and when I touched my face, there was something on it that I don't know what it was, but I believe it was a part of Auxier.

"Lucas, do you know what's happening beside my eyes?" When I asked him, he was not surprised.

"I didn't tell you about it, but there is a gold stone that looks like a scale," Lucas added, and the other protectors quickly arrived; I noticed Christopher with them.

"I had a feeling! Why didn't you respond to my message sooner? I told you something bad was going to happen to you!" Christopher was concerned as he said, and Khalil rushed up to me.

"It looks like the Auxier reacts when you're about to die from falling, and it's ready to save you; I've felt its reaction," Khalil explained, and everyone is dressed in battle gear.

"Aiden and Wyatt, find Kai if you can still find him; I can sense his presence. He's here on the building and makes sure no one is hurt until help arrives," I said, and they nodded.

"Christopher also contacted the authorities so that they could assist in this situation and assist my employees in evacuating." Lucas gave the order to Christopher, who nodded and called the authorities.

"Elias, help Lucas. You have the earth's power to balance the building," I ordered, and he immediately aided Lucas.

"Are you in pain somewhere? I'll make it better!" Ezekiel came up to me.

"I'm fine. Do you see some scratches on my face and skin?" I inquired, and he touched my arm. I had no idea I had a broken mirror pierced on my arm.

"Stay still; I'll remove it and heal it. Don't worry. You won't bleed out because I'll use my healing spell," Ezekiel said as I looked at the building that was about to collapse.
