Chapter 58

Aria's POV

I don't see Kai's men in the 5-star hotel; Lucas and I are now in the elevator and checking out at the 5-star hotel. When the elevator doors opened, we exited, walked over to the counter, and returned the key to our room. We arrived at the parking lot and approached Lucas's sports car, which Kai's men didn't recognize.

I was the first to enter, and after sitting, I buckled my seat belt, followed by Lucas, who also buckled his seat belt. He started driving the car, and as we went home, I checked my phone, and there was no new message in the group chat.

I scrolled down and looked at other people's social media posts; in one hour, we got home, and when I saw Lucas's mansion, I saw Irish bringing a flower pot. She was about to go inside when she saw us.

After an hour, Lucas parked his car in his garage, and I went outside first. I saw Irish waving at me cheerfully, so I approached her, and we went inside the mansion.

"Welcome back, master," Khalil says as he sniffs me, and I know he has a lot of questions for me.

"Thank you, I believe we discussed for today," I said, and the other protectors looked at me.

"We have a question as well, master," I heard Elias say, and I nodded as Lucas entered the house.

"I heard we're going to talk about something? Let's go to the basement first." The eight protectors nodded, and Khalil went to the others, leaving me here.

When Lucas and I leave, nothing changes. I start walking, and when I get to the basement, they sit down, and I sit in the middle of the round table, breathing deeply.

"You saw the aurora, and I'm sorry I didn't say I had a plan with Lucas in the hotel, which I'm not embarrassed about," I told them, and they all fell silent.

"I was shocked as well when I saw the aurora connections between us and discovered it was the auras of my powers and Lucas' dark power auras," I explained. They still didn't respond to my speech.

"The auroras will happen if I kiss Lucas and make love again; I believe Kai tried to find me because of those aurora connections, but I will be careful next time if we do it again," I told them, and Logan raised his hand.

"You don't need to apologize, master, because we know you love Lucas and that you two intend to make love. We were also taken aback when we saw the Aurora outside, and I believe many others did as well. Still, I think most people will dismiss it as a regular occurrence." Logan responded that he was correct because people had also noticed the Aurora.

"The aurora is so beautiful, and I was thinking that if you have a child, she or he will have those aurora auras," Irish said, making me laugh.

"I'm not considering having a child right now! I need to finish this mission of killing Kai and his sister before moving on to Ryder." I said, and Irish laughed as well.

"Have Kai's men discovered your room?" Elias inquired, and I shook my head.

"Lucas devised a trick in which he made the door appear to be a wall, and I was perplexed about it, and it helped," I told him, and he was surprised.

"I had no idea you could do that," Elias said to Lucas, who smirked.

"We will begin to be strong today. I'm going to see if there's a way to strengthen Aria and train her," Lucas said, and I was taken aback.

"Who are you going to approach?" I inquired of him.

"I'm going to Auxier Place. You can come if you want," Lucas said, and I was taken aback.

"Auxier Place is something I miss. I want to see what it is right now because it has been decades since I last saw it, but how will we get there? I believe we can teleport now that I know how," I told Lucas, and I looked at Logan because he, too, has teleportation power.

"We'll all be there! It's risky for you two to go out by yourselves," Aiden suggested, and he was correct because Kai was planning his next move.

"When are we going?" I asked Lucas, thinking we should go today but needed to prepare.

"I was thinking today because it's still early, and we'll arrive there in the middle of the night," Lucas added as the other protectors stood up, and I noticed Khalil approaching me.

"I don't see anything bad happening, so it's okay to go there now," Khalil added, and I nodded.

"I'll pack my things first, Lucas," I told him, and when I stood up, he took my hand in his, and the other protectors went upstairs.

"This is going to be a long journey for you, and we'll have to restart our adventure," Lucas said quickly.

"You are correct. We must concentrate on this battle and adventure," I told him as we walked upstairs.

I went into my room and picked up my travel bag before going into my cabinet to get some clothes; if we have a battle in Auxier Place, I will wear my battle outfit. I'm also not sure where we'll stay, and I wonder if the Auxier Kingdom is still there.

After packing my items, I pick up my phone in bed and something from the bathroom: toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, and shampoo. After I finished packing my belongings, I noticed Khalil enter my room.

"Hello, Khalil! Are you going to ask me a question?" I inquired.

"I'm just curious why the aurora is showing up right now; it didn't show up when you were together before, right?" Khalil asked me a question, and I nodded.

"I know it's not dangerous, so don't worry about it," I told him as he smelled my travel bag.

"What are you doing smelling my bag? It's stuffed with my clothes and other belongings," I told him, and he scratched his head.

"I smell the toothpaste and the lotion," he said. I had no idea he knew that because he was alive when I wasn't the eternal master yet, and he spent the entire time inside the Auxier stone.

"I'm ready; all of my important belongings are in place; let's go," I stood up from my seat when I heard Lucas knock, pick up my bag, and go outside my room.

"What will happen in your mansion? Do you think people will notice that there is no one here after a month?" I asked him, and I noticed a Jaxon van when we got outside.

"Don't worry, I'll use some tricks, and it won't disappear when I'm not dead," Lucas said, and he used some tricks using his dark power, which is why I used my dark power to combine with his.

"If you get hurt and weak, I think the trick you just put in the mansion will disappear; to make sure it doesn't disappear, I'm putting some of my dark power tricks in there as well, for support," I told him after we did that trick, and he smiled.

"Thank you for assisting me," Lucas thanked me, and we went inside the van, Jaxon in the driver's seat, and I tapped Logan on the shoulder when I looked at him.

"We'll teleport to the Auxier Place while we're inside this van," I said as the other protectors held hands, and Lucas took my left hand in his.

Logan and I used teleportation, and when I noticed the location change, I knew we were at Auxier Place, and it appeared that there were no people in there; it was quiet, and we needed to explore the other side of Auxier Place.

"We're here now, but where are we going?" I inquired of Lucas.

"Don't worry about the witch I know; she's a good watch, and I think she might know something about Auxier Stone and the other powers we'll soon discover," Lucas said. I nodded as I heard Jaxon start the van's engine.
