Chapter 62

Aria's POV

Erza and Ryder appeared in the scene, and they had ten men. I looked at Khalil, who was ready to fight, and his fangs became sharper. Erza also wears her battle outfit and has a whip with her, which I know has a spell on it that gives her power.

"Let's fight, Nivia," she challenged, which prompted me to grin and attack her.

"Of course, let's fight!" I quickly replied as I dashed to her, and when I attacked her with my sword, she retaliated with her whip, but I managed to avoid her whip attacks.

Khalil appeared to attack Ryder as his claws sharpened, and the nine protectors were now fighting Kai as they surrounded him. I combined my electric and water powers with my sword, and Erza was taken aback. She flew away to create distance, but she was not defeated; she stood up and ran so fast to me, whip in hand, but I used my hand to hold her whip and tie her to me.

"You should know how to use this whip," I smirked at her as I held her whip tightly, and she couldn't break free, so I rolled the whip, and she fell to the ground.

"I understand how to use the whip! You're grossly underestimating me!" Erza yelled, and I smirked as I burned her back with my firepower.

She screamed in pain, and Ryder looked at us. He was about to assist Erza when Khalil bit its leg, and he had a powerful biting force. I quickly approach Erza and am about to drown her with water power when I notice a sword coming at me quickly, so I quickly thought of blocking the five blades.

It was Kai's men, and they were being manipulated and controlled; they surrounded me, and I took my battle stance. I drew dark power from my sword and stabbed the ground, the ten men flew away, and I looked at Erza again, shaking the grown, and she used her whip again.

"I thought you died," I sarcastically said, and she became enraged.

"You'll be the one to perish!" She yelled and attacked me; I had no idea why her fighting skills had not improved. Didn't she use to practice after I died?

"Let's see who dies," I said, using my earth power to create a giant earth monster. And I couldn't believe it as it stood tall as Kai's men were all stunned.

As the nine protectors looked around, the ground began to shake. I continued to chant the spell as the ground started to shake.

From the center, a large tree-like creature appears, with two enormous hands rooted down on the ground, moving his hands and summoning nature spirits.

"Are you insane?! In this place, you've created a monster!" I overheard Ezra say, but I didn't care about her concerns.

"I don't care if I create this monster in this place; all I care about is killing you," I said, and I controlled the giant monster with my mind.

She flew away when Ezra was punched by the giant monster I created. I focused on Ryder, and despite witnessing the giant monster, he was unfazed.

"Ryder, use your cunning on that monster! We can make use of it!" I heard Kai say something, but Aiden silenced him with his bare hands.

"You fool," Ryder exclaimed, and I noticed auras in the giant monster, which hurt me when he began to manipulate it.

"Master!" I kneeled when I heard the nine protectors yell, but I stood firm.

"I can do it! I can control the massive monster, so I can't lose!" I yelled and focused on the battle, surprised when I began vomiting blood.

"Aria, stop abusing your nine powers!" I heard Lucas say this and saw Khalil jump in front of me, and I was surprised that he had transformed into a human; it was my first time seeing him in human form.

I saw Khalil attack Ryder, and the giant monster vanished because I lost control; I took a deep breath. I saw Ezekiel use his healing power while the other protectors fought Kai.

"I'm fine; I can still fight." I was catching my breath when I noticed Lucas observing me.

"Let us handle this. This isn't the final fight. We'll just hurt Kai and make him retreat," Lucas said, tapping my shoulder before returning to the fight.

"Master, I need you to breathe slowly and calm your mind; don't force yourself," Ezekiel advised as I sat down on the floor, and I nodded.

"Erza is not here anymore. I believe she retreated." Ezekiel did not respond to what I said.

I look at Ryder, bleeding and running away, but Khalil remains in his human form. I'm not sure what happened, but I'm curious why he turned himself into a human at this time.

"You are guarding someone vulnerable! You should be serving me!" Kai yelled, and I saw an attack from us, so Khalil came over to protect Ezekiel and me with his body.

"Let's go have a good time!" Logan stated, holding Kai on the back of its neck as they teleported to an unknown location.

"Master!" I could hear the other protectors who were concerned.

"I'm fine. You should be worried about yourself because you're fighting to protect me," I said as Irish took my hand in her.

"Khalil! Are you all right?" I inquired, and when I looked at him, he turned to face me, still in his human form.

"I'm not sure what happened, but when I heard your scream in your head, I saw many visions of the future. You will perish if I do not transform into a human," Khalil responded, and I motioned with my hand for him to come here.

"You did an excellent job," I told him, and he was wearing a battle outfit as well, which was black with a hood and a black scarf covering his right shoulder to his right arm.

"I'm done healing you, master. Please don't force yourself," Ezekiel said as I looked around the house.

"It's messed up. What should we do, my parents know me again, and I think they'll be more worried about me," I worriedly told them, Lucas holding my hand.

"Let's go see them; we'll tell them the truth and take them somewhere safe," Lucas comforted me as I stood up from my seat.

"Logan hasn't returned yet; I'm wondering what happened," I said, but then I saw Logan come back and faint suddenly.

"Logan!" As we all ran towards him, Aiden called out to him.

"I'm fine, but before I hurt Kai to get him to retreat, I got hit by his little trick," Logan explained, and Ezekiel healed it.

"Let's go to Lucas's mansion first and get my parents somewhere safe," I suggested, and they nodded.

"Hold on to me; I'm going to use the teleportation instead of Logan," I exclaimed. They clung to each other, Lucas clutching my hand tightly.

We teleported to the mansion, and when we arrived, I saw my parents sitting on the sofa, patiently waiting for me.

"Aria!" Mom called me and immediately hugged me.

"We are very concerned about you! I'm not sure what happened, but your safety is more important!" Mom said, and I returned her hug.

"I'm fine, mom, but I need to tell you something," I told her, and as I let go of her, she touched my face.

"We knew everything at. First, we didn't believe, but when we saw you use some magic, we believed." Mom said, and I felt tears well up in my eyes.

"It's fine if you're a superhero or not; just tell us who you are, and we'll understand," mom cried, and I saw dad stand up from his seat and hug me as well.

"You mature! My daughter, I miss you!" Dad said, smiling, I felt the battle outfit go off, and I heard someone come in here."

"I was texted to come here!" I let go of mom and dad hug after hearing him say that.

"You were late, but Aria is fine now," Lucas said as Christopher approached us.

"Isn't it true that your nine friends aren't getting older?" Mom said, and I laughed.

"I thought you were already aware of it? Do you want me to tell you a long story about them and my powers?" I said to her, and my mother nodded.
