Chapter 8
Third person's POV
"First, tell me who you are and why you brought me here to your house, but I believe this is a mansion rather than a house," Aria said as she took a look around the mansion.
"It's a mansion. This is our home, and don't worry. You are safe here. We will introduce ourselves, but please don't be shocked and don't panic. We promise not to hurt you." Lucas said as Aria nodded, and Lucas was the first to introduce themselves.
"Allow us to introduce ourselves once more, finally. We are the Auxier's Nine Protectors. The Auxier Stone has chosen you to be the next master. The stone is inside you right now. We can show you the Auxier Stone's appearance." Lucas said to Aria, who was stunned and touched her entire body.
"Is this a dream? Can you show me the appearance of the Auxier Stone you're referring to? I believe you because I've felt something strange on my chest as if someone is calling for me, but I'm not sure who it is." Aria nodded, and Lucas began to introduce himself and the others.
They all looked at Aria as she stood up and touched her chest because she felt something inside her: the Auxier Stone.
"It was a pleasure to meet all nine of you! I'm going to introduce myself now! Aria Ximena is my name. I'm 15 years old and currently attend Cecille High School." Aria introduced herself and touched her head.
"Is your head all right? Are you hurt somewhere on it?" Ezekiel asked Aria. After all, he was scared because he had previously failed to heal his master and wanted to make amends this time.
"I'm okay. Ezekiel, I believe I forgot something important. As you introduced yourself to me, I had a vision of a flashback, but it was blurred, and I couldn't see what it was," Aria stated as she sat on the sofa.
"Don't push yourself; instead, take your time. We will be here for you as our new master, and we will give you our phone numbers so that you can contact us right away if there is a problem." Lucas spoke up, but Aria cut him off.
"Aren't you getting older? You said I'm your next master. Does that mean you have a past master? Are all of you immortals?" The nine protectors nodded as Aria spoke.
"Yes, we are immortals. We are not aging because of the half stone of Auxier Stone inside our bodies; we have been living here for years," Lucas replied to Aria's question, and she nodded.
"I nearly forgot! Where is my bag? I need to contact my parents about staying at your mansion," Aria stated. Irish handed over the bag containing her phone.
"I already called your mother, and she said it's okay to sleep here, and I'm pretending to be your classmate. Your mother will never scold you if you go home tomorrow, don't worry," Irish said as Aria smiled.
"That's great news! Anyway, thank you for protecting me earlier and covering me up to my parents; they are strict and want me to stay away from people and danger because they don't want me to get hurt," Aria said as she picked up her phone flipped through her history.
"You are always welcome, master," Irish said as she remembered Nivia. They were covering for her whenever something about her parents came up that she didn't want to do.
"Where do I sleep? I have to get up early in the morning to get home," Aria stated as she rose to her feet.
"You have your own room master; let me show you," Lucas explained as Aria nodded and followed Lucas.
"She is Nivia's reincarnation! I can sense it!" As Lucas and Aria walked upstairs, Isaac said.
"Close your mouth; what if she overhears you mentioning the name of our past master? We're still not sure if she's Nivia's reincarnation; you can't make someone remember something that isn't a part of her life," Irish said to Isaac as he quieted down.
"I'm going to my room now," Jaxon said as he walked to his room near the living room, while Lucas went downstairs after showing Aria the room.
"She's fine and comfortable in her room; she also told me to teach her more about the Auxier Stone," Lucas said, to which the other protectors nodded.
"Then we'll be busy the next day; what about our work?" Logan inquired of Lucas.
"I'll call my secretary and have her do my other work so we can keep an eye on Aria," Lucas said, and the other protectors picked up their phones as well.
"Where has Jaxon gone?" Lucas inquired,
"He went to his room. Maybe he's tired; I'll inform him about teaching Aria about the Auxier Stone," Irish said. Lucas nodded as he sat on the living room sofa, thinking about Nivia's reincarnation.
"Let us not hope for Nivia's reincarnation. We need to respect Auxier's decision because it chooses our new master. Maybe Aria is special. That's why it possessed her while she was a newborn," Lucas said as the others pondered it.
"Consider what she said to us. She said someone was calling her. Could it have been Nivia? Or the Auxier Stone itself, which causes Aria to recall everything from her past." Irish addressed Lucas because they were both interested in the outcome.
"Let us just wait and hope for the best; we'll know in time, but for now, we'll be her protectors if she needs us." As Irish stood up from her seat, Lucas made a suggestion.
"All right, then, it's all settled now, and I'll rest now. Goodnight." Irish said this as she went upstairs to her room.
While Aria was sleeping, she had a dream in which she saw a figure of Nivia dressed in battle armor at the battle of Auxier and Blawnox. Aria approaches her figure, unaware that the figure she sees is only one of many because she is the reincarnation of Nivia Genesis.
"Who are you, and why are you calling?" Aria inquired, and Nivia touched Aria's cheek and smiled.
"They need you, little one; please don't abandon them again; keep fighting for them and being strong; the nine protectors will always be by your side when you need them." As Nivia's voice became disrupted, she said.
"I'm not sure what you're talking about; I've only met them once, but please tell me if you know anything about the Nine Protectors of Auxier!" Aria stated that when Nivia's figure vanished, she awoke in the room at Lucas' mansion.
Aria's heartbeat is racing, and as she looks around the room, she realizes she is in the Nine Protectors Mansion. She got out of bed and gathered her belongings; she noticed a pair of new clothes on the table but ignored them.
She exited the room and went downstairs, and Logan was the only one awake while the others were still sleeping in their rooms. Aria rushed to the mansion's door. Logan was taken aback to see Aria in such a hurry,
"What exactly are you doing, master? Are you all right? Why are you in a hurried state? Did your mother call you at 5:00 a.m.?" Logan inquired as Aria fixed her gaze on him.
"This is the time I get up early, and I need to go home right now; where are Irish and Lucas? I need them to fetch me; I need to go home now!!" Aria stated that she was attempting to open the door and was unaware that it could only be opened by the fingerprint of the nine protectors.
