10. Still a Mystery
"No one is putting pressure on either of us. Everything we say is truly from the bottom of our hearts. Meanwhile, Gi-Hoon's death was all an accident while hunting."
Those words still ring in Aurora's ears until she arrives in Seoul. However, she could force them but not by her.
She had already arrived at the hotel. Aurora went straight into her room. She threw her body on the bed. For some reason, her brain couldn't stop thinking about Tea-Gu.
"I'm sure someone is pressuring them. However, who was that person? Do I know the person?" muttered Aurora.
Aurora took her phone and picked up the phone that came from Odelia. She listened to her friend's words. Her friend was now behind the door of her hotel room. She left bed and walked to the door while disconnecting the phone.
"Come in!" Aurora ordered Odelia after she opened the door to the room.
She walked to the bed and sat there, and Odelia sat beside her. The two of them also started talking about some things about the company.
"Odelia, don't you feel that something is wrong?" Aurora asked after hearing the information her friend had conveyed.
"It seems so. For some reason, I also think there's someone behind all this."
Aurora listened again to what Odelia felt. Everything she said was almost the same as what she thought. She also believes that the person is the one who has killed Gi-Hoon.
"Your phone is ringing. Pick it up!" said Aurora to Odelia.
She saw Odelia nodding her head. Her friend then moved away from Her. While the friend was talking through the phone, Aurora decided to check some emails that came into her phone.
"Aurora, we must go back now to York City," Odelia said after she spoke to someone who had contacted her just now.
"What's wrong? Is there a problem?"
"Jhon, give us a mission."
"Didn't I say not to accept the mission just yet? Why is it like this?"
Aurora looked at Odelia and listened to her friend's explanation. After thinking about it again, Aurora finally accepted the mission because it was related to many people's lives.
"Then we are back now. Can you prepare for our return tonight?" asked Aurora to Odelia.
"Take it easy. I can take care of it. Now, you are preparing for our return."
"I leave everything to you."
Aurora saw Odelia nodding and left her room. Without wasting any time, she immediately tidied up her belongings.
A few moments later, Aurora had finished tidying up all her belongings. She took her phone because someone contacted her. Aurora stared at her phone screen because the person who contacted her was an unknown number, and she ignored it.
Not long after, Odelia sent a short message saying that everything was ready. The friend was waiting for her in the hotel lobby.
"Who is the person?" Aurora asked, again receiving a phone call from a number that she had ignored earlier.
She turned off his phone, pulled out her travel bag, and headed straight to the hotel lobby. Aurora and Odelia had already met in the lobby and went straight to the airport.
***
After a tiring journey, Aurora finally arrived at her home. For a full day, she decided to rest and look for information about her mission this time.
"I've found the information you want," Odelia said as she approached Aurora.
Aurora received a tablet that Odelia had just handed over. She opened the tablet and read some of the information she needed.
"Are you sure that this person is our target? So, who are the names in your report?" Aurora asked after she had read all the information on the tablet.
"I'm already sure that person is our target. Meanwhile, the names there are hostages who their group has captured for more than two months."
Odelia also explained everything she knew to Aurora. She also said that this mission might be dangerous and that bad things could happen to her and Aurora.
"Why are you so timid? Aren't we hitched who are in danger every second?"
"What I fear is not my death. Rather, you are injured so that you cannot continue our main mission of finding the killers of your parents."
"Don't worry. This mission will be successful because there is goodness behind it all."
"You mean we indirectly carry out rescue missions as well."
Aurora nodded and said that this mission was a double mission. Until this moment, she believed that if we did something good, we would also get good results.
"Then we start to prepare. Tomorrow, we will carry out our mission," Aurora said to Odelia.
"Okay. I'll be in the weapons room," Odelia continued, and then she left Aurora's room.
Aurora stared at her friend's departure. She sighed and remembered the death of her parents when he was a child. She has never forgotten all those memories until now.
"This number is again. Who is the person, exactly? What does the person want from me?" muttered Aurora after picking up her phone that was ringing on her forehead.
Even though she ignored it, the person still contacted her. When she finally lifted the phone, she heard a man's voice that annoyed her for never picking up her phone.
"Who are you? Why are you angry with me?" asked Aurora to the man on the other end of the phone.
She continued to listen to the man's voice carefully, trying to remember who he was. Finally, she recognized him.
"What do you want?" asked Aurora.
Aurora frowned when she heard that the man wanted to meet her in person. However, she refused and asked the man to say now via phone.
"It's up to you. If you don't want to, then I'll close it right now,"
She was about to turn off her phone but he undid it after hearing her parents' names.
"Where should I go?" Aurora asked while taking her motorbike keys, which were on the nightstand.
