62. Will Not Give Up

Aurora was already outside her workspace, and she walked over to Stela, who was serving the man who had just walked into her café. She looked at the man who was smiling at her.

"Aurora, he happened to be looking for you," said Stela, who had just seen Aurora's presence.

"Thank you, Stela," Aurora continued, and then she sat in the chair right across from the man.

Aurora sees Stela leave her. She also refocuses on the man in front of her. She doesn't start the conversation because she wants to know the reason for the man's arrival and if the man can tell her about her café.

"I miss you so much, Aurora Baylee," the man said calmly and then smiled again.

"Thom, do you love me?" Aurora asked the man in front of her.

"Why are you still questioning that? Can't you see into my eyes how much I love you?"

"Then why are you bothering my cousin and my company?"

Aurora saw that Thom was silent after hearing her question. She asked the man to answer her question and thought maybe Thom was preparing a defense sentence.

"Why shut up? Is there really no love in your heart for me," Aurora asked Thom again.

"I did all this just to get your love. I truly love you, and no one can take it away."

"I think it's not love but your obsession. If you love me, then you won't attack me or the people who have something to do with me."

Aurora continued to say several things that Thom had done to her. She wanted to remind the man if he had done something bad that could put herin danger.

She explained all of this to show Thom that she didn't believe in the man's love at all. She also reminds Thom of herself, who is Igor's lover and will only be Igor Gerald's woman.

"Enough, Aurora! I still won't give up on my love! I don't care if you're already in touch with either, Igor! The two of you are not married and still won't be united!"

Now Aurora was silent at Thom's words. She felt that the man was revealing everything that was in her mind. She also feels that Thom will not give up on his love.

Aurora sighed, and then she said, "Give up, Thom."

"I will not give up. I'll show you if my love is greater than love, Igor Gerald!"

It was very obvious to Aurora that the man in front of her didn't want to give up. She shook her head and was already tired of facing the man.

"You'd better be the one who gives up! Cut off your relationship with Igor and get into my arms. If you don't want to see your lover and those who are near you die."

Aurora clenched her fists because she felt furious at Thom, who had just threatened her. She didn't think that the man in front of her could threaten her using the name Igor who was nearby.

"I'll chase you to hell even if you touch them all!" Aurora threatened the man again.

Aurora saw Thom grinning, and the man got up and walked away from her. She also heard the man say to rethink everything that she had said.

"Do you want me to finish him off?" asked Stela, who had just stood behind Aurora.

"No need! I'll take care of it. I hope we don't get involved with the world of hitmen first."

"Why? Does he also have a connection to the assassin world or the underworld?"

"It seems like he has a relationship with people in the underworld."

After saying that, Aurora got up and walked toward her office. She sat back in her work chair and leaned her body back into the chair.

"If he has anything to do with the underworld, why don't you finish him off quickly?" Stella asked Aurora again after she walked into the workspace.

"It's not the time to act yet. Aurora, looking for the right time to deal with that man," Odelia helped Aurora answer the question posed by Stela.

Aurora just kept quiet and listened to her two friends talk about Thom. She lets Odelia tell Stela who Thom really is so that Stela knows what to do and doesn't force Aurora to finish off Thom.

"I'm sorry, Aurora... I don't know if that guy has overwhelmed you," Stela apologized to Aurora.

"There is no need to apologize. Now, we have to focus on the work that is already in front of us. And I also want you to prepare some items that I will keep in the secret room that I have made."

Aurora continued her words and gave all the lists that Stella had to prepare. She trusted the woman and was confident that Stela could get it through quickly.

"Alright. I'll prepare it," Stela continued after she read several lists of items that she must prepare.

"I believe in you."

Aurora saw Stela nodding her head, and after that, Stela left her workspace. She kept staring at Stela until the woman came out from inside the café.

"Have you made a plan for that annoying man?" Odelia asked Aurora.

"I haven't planned anything to make her give up," Aurora replied as she picked up her phone that was ringing on the table.

She saw the number on her phone screen and immediately picked it up because the one who contacted her was her cousin. Aurora listened to everything Celine said to her.

"Is your plan certain?" asked Aurora to Celine on the other end of the phone.

Aurora hears Celine's answer if all her plans are certain and there will be no more cancellations. The cousin also hopes that Aurora will be present at the dinner the next day.

"Alright. I'll attend it with my lover," Aurora said to Celine again. After that, she disconnected the phone.

Aurora was silent for a moment and thought about the man Celine would introduce to her. For some reason, she felt that something was strange since her cousin was related to the man. However, she had never seen the man in person.

"Odelia, can you help me?" asked Aurora to Odelia, who was still in the workspace.

"What do you need?" replied Odelia with another question.

"Can you investigate who the man is, lover, my cousin," Aurora replied as she looked at Odelia.

"Are you sure? Doesn't this interfere too much in your cousin's affairs?" Odelia asked Aurora again.

"My advice is not to investigate it," continued someone who had just entered the room.
