57. Shadow
"Aurora...," someone called out while holding her hand.
Aurora woke up and saw the person nearby, who was still holding her hand. She kept silent and looked at the woman who questioned her questioningly.
"Do you have nightmares?" the woman asked Aurora.
Aurora nodded and replied, "Odelia, are you here? Aren't you not done with your mission yet?"
"My mission is done quickly, and I'm heading straight here," Odelia replied as she continued to stare at Aurora, who didn't look well.
Aurora fell silent again and clearly remembered what she thought was not a dream. According to her, it was like an incident she had experienced.
"Are you dreaming about your parents?" Odelia asked Aurora again.
"Yes, this is probably the first time since the incident that Igor turned into a werewolf due to the poison in the bullet fired by Claudia."
She was still confused as to why the nightmare was getting more intense. Even though she was fast asleep due to the influence of medicine to heal her wounds, the nightmare still haunted her.
"Do I have to stay in the underworld and remain a hitman to find my parents' killers?" muttered Aurora.
For some reason, she thought in that direction because the nightmare continued to haunt her after she decided to stop being a hitman. Aurora sighed and got out of bed.
She walked to the table near the sofa and took a glass of water. After that, she sat down while drinking the water in the glass. It wasn't long before she saw Odelia sitting right next to her.
"You don't need to return to the underworld or become a hitman again. I think the killers of your parents may soon appear in front of you," Odelia said.
"Odelia, can you see who the person who killed my two parents is?" Aurora asked her friend.
"I am indeed a magician, but I can't see everything. There are some things that I can't see, and I'm not a fortune teller who can see all the happenings in this world."
Aurora looked a little disappointed when she heard Odelia's reply, even though she hoped that her friend could give her clues about the person who had killed her parents.
"You just calm down. I'm sure you'll soon find out who killed both of your parents. Trust me!" Odelia said to Aurora again.
Aurora nodded, remembering the incident that afternoon. She told everything that happened to her friend. She also said that she would create a café where all the people who take care of her are herself, Stela, and the three women who are always next to Stela.
"Do you want to join me too?" asked Aurora after she had explained everything to Odelia.
"Of course. After all, I'm the same as you, and you'll stop being a hitman. Yesterday's mission was my last."
Aurora smiled. She was happy with her friend's decision, and she didn't want to constantly worry if Odelia went on a mission that could endanger her life.
"When are you going to start your plan?" Odelia asked Aurora again.
"Hurry up, and I need your help too."
Aurora also said that Odelia must do several things to start her plan. She wanted everything to run smoothly and quickly.
"Come in!" ordered Aurora to someone who knocked on the door of her room.
She looked towards the open door of the room and saw the butler of her house. Aurora also smiled and nodded as the middle-aged man in front of her saluted her.
"Will Miss stay here tonight? Because I've prepared dinner and everything you might need," the butler asked the lady before him.
"Yes. I'll stay tonight and prepare a room next door for you, Odelia!" replied Aurora to the butler.
"Will the dinner be in the dining room or brought here?" The butler asked the lady again.
"I want to have dinner in the garden pavilion. Can you prepare it there?"
"I'll prepare it," replied the butler and then he left the lady's room.
"Aurora, have you talked to Igor if you don't return to his castle tonight?" asked Odelia.
Aurora shook her head and said she would contact Igor later and tell her everything. After saying that, she invited Odelia to go straight to the gazebo in the garden behind her house.
They walked out of the room and directly to the garden. They didn't take long to arrive at the pavilion and immediately sat on the chairs the servants had prepared. The head chef of her house had already made several dinner dishes.
"I heard you gave power to that cousin. Are you sure of it? Because all this time she wants everything you have," Odelia asked while enjoying her dinner dish.
"I don't know. However, as long as I can't care for the company, Celine has greatly helped me."
Aurora also said that she has not been silent all this time. She still watches Celine's every move, so she knows if she is doing something wrong with her company. She will not stay silent if her cousin does things that could harm her or her company.
Dinner was finished, and the servers tidied up the tables. However, Aurora and Odelia decide to stay in the gazebo while talking about some of the things they will do for the café business that will be run.
Aurora's gaze fell on someone walking closer to her. She didn't know if that person knew about her whereabouts in this house because she didn't tell that person. She wondered if someone in her home had sent her to spy on her.
"Where did you know I was here?" asked Aurora to the person in front of her.
"It's not important that I tell you. Now I have another important thing to tell you," the man replied as he sat before Aurora and Odelia.
"What do you want to say, Celine?" Aurora asked her cousin again.
Aurora stared intently at the woman in front of her. She felt that her cousin was in trouble right now. She also wondered if the problem in front of her this time had anything to do with her former cousin, who had made a stir at her house.
"I'll say it," Celine replied after she had calmed down a bit.
Aurora listens to Celine talk about the problem, and Odelia, who has focused on everything Celine says, follows suit.
"Are you making trouble with that person?" asked Aurora after hearing the story from her cousin.
"I didn't make any trouble with him at all. That guy suddenly approached me and asked me to give away all your shares and a few per cent of my shares."
Aurora fell silent again and thought about the person who wanted her company. So far, she has not offended anyone else, and no one has contacted her to discuss business with her.
"I know who that person is."
