78. A Tragic End

"Why shut up? Tell me what's wrong?" Aurora asked Juan again.

"Come with me! I don't know where to start," Juan replied.

Aurora was curious about what Juan would show. She and Odelia followed Juan, who had walked first. She began to have many questions but could not ask Juan any more questions.

She frowned as Juan invited her into the forest behind the castle park. Aurora looked at Odelia while asking her, and she saw Odelia saying that she didn't know anything either.

"Juan, where do you want to take us?" asked Aurora to Juan in front of her.

"You take it easy! I won't bring you into danger."

Aurora sighed and continued to walk after Juan. She had never gone into the forest. Finally, she found a small house.

She didn't think a house existed in the middle of the forest. Aurora thought Igor could build the little house. However, she again wondered why Igor built a house in the middle of the forest.

"Aurora, are you ready?" asked Juan after he was at the house door.

"What exactly do you want to show me?"

"I ask if you're ready?" replied Juan as king the woman in front of him again.

"I'm ready."

Aurora saw Juan smiling, and the man opened the door to the house. She saw Juan inviting her in. She entered the house, followed by Odelia, who was behind her.

She stopped her steps when she heard the voices of a man and a woman grimacing in pain. Aurora looked at Juan, who kept walking towards a room whose door was tightly closed, and it was in front of him.

"Odelia, do you feel that this place is so suffocating?" asked Aurora to Odelia, who was beside her.

"Yes. There is something strange about this house."

Aurora immediately smelled a pungent odour after Juan opened the room's door. It was apparent to her that Juan was not bothered by it.

"Let's go in!" said Odelia to Aurora, and she entered the room first.

Aurora followed Odelia and Juan into the room in front of her. However, she was reluctant to enter because of the pungent smell and screams of pain coming from inside the room.

She was glued when she looked at the one in front of her. Some people were seen trying to wake up a woman. Aurora saw the woman's body, which was already filled with wounds and bruises.

"It's so cruel," Aurora muttered after seeing everything.

"This has not been said to be cruel because the woman can do something more cruel than we do," continued Igor, who was already beside Aurora.

"You... Didn't you go with that woman?" Aurora immediately asked after noticing the presence of her lover.

However, Aurora looked back at the woman in front of her before Igor could answer her question. She looked at it intently at the woman's face. Sure enough, what she thought just now was that the woman who was so arrogant last night because he thought she could conquer Igor.

"Don't you believe me? Can just a rotten woman like her replace my thousand-year wait? I feel sad if you think I'm an unfaithful man," Igor asked his lover, who was beside him.

Aurora heard Igor's question, which made her feel guilty because she no longer believed in her lover. She held Igor's hand and looked at him with regret.

"I'm sorry," said Aurora while looking at Igor with eyes full of guilt.

"How could I not forgive you? You are my woman either a thousand years ago or today."

Aurora smiled at Igor's answer. She also entered the arms of her lover. Her heart felt calm when she was in Igor's arms. Suddenly, all the uncomfortable feelings and pungent smells in the room disappeared.

"This woman can't be saved," a man said to Juan and was heard by Aurora, Odelia, and Igor.

Aurora immediately released herself from her lover's arms. She took a step forward to see the woman's condition. So tragic is the end of a woman who is so confident she can snatch Igor from her side.

"Honey, what exactly did he do? I think the mistake is only a small one: to snatch you from my side," Aurora asked Igor, who was beside her.

"He's your friend's colleague," Igor replied as he pointed to the limp-looking man.

Aurora looked at the man. How surprised she was that the man was Ben. The man who had been saved by her when the attack happened to her. And the man was also a hitman.

"Why are you punishing him? What exactly do I not know about that man's matter?" Aurora asked her lover again.

Igor then began to explain to Aurora all the things that the man and the woman did. Aurora listened to him without asking while looking at the man she had saved several times.

Aurora couldn't believe what she heard if the man already knew if she was still alive. So, he made a plan to finish it off.

"Is it just me as a masked hitman that he wants to finish me off? Is everything I did to him not enough to make his life quiet without disturbing me?" asked Aurora after listening to Igor's explanation.

"How long have you been in the underworld and the world of hitmen?" Igro replied with a question to Aurora.

"Do you think I'm still naïve for believing in people who have something to do with the underworld?"

Aurora saw Igor nodding and said that Aurora was still naïve. So she thought the person she had saved several times would be kind to her because of the favour.

However, in reality, neither the underground world nor the world of revenge hitmen exists. All there is is to attack each other to fulfil their ambitions.

"That man can't be saved either," a man said again to everyone in the room.

"Take care of everything! I don't want to see their bodies in this house!" ordered Igor, then he took Aurora's hand and escorted her away from the house.

"Wait! Odelia is still in there," Aurora told Igor.

"Leave it alone! There's Hans and Juan who will take her away."

Aurora also believed what Igor said. She walked in her lover's footsteps to the outside of the forest. She didn't know why Igor looked so happy.

"What's wrong with you?" asked Aurora after she was in the park.

"It's okay," Igor replied while holding Aurora's hand.

Aurora didn't believe what Igor said. Something must have happened that could have made Igor so happy. Finally, she was in the room, and the lover still did not say what had happened, which made him even more curious.

"Tell me!" Aurora said to Igor again.

However, Igor has not answered the question she asked just now. Instead, the man kissed her lips gently and then held the nape of her neck. Igor didn't want Aurora to let go of his kiss.

Aurora did not intend to let go of Igor's kiss. She closed her eyes and enjoyed every game of Igor's tongue that began to enter her mouth.

"Today, I will not let you go," said Igor after releasing his kiss for a moment and then kissing his lover gently and aggressively.
