52. Punishment
Igor was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief because Aurora's condition was no longer in danger. He swore that until Aurora lost her life because of him, he would end his eternal life.
"Juan, I haven't seen Igor for more than two months. Do you know where he is?" asked Aurora to Juan, who was in her room after examining the healed wound on her back.
Aurora looked at Juan, who didn't answer the question she had posed. She knew that the man beside her was currently hiding something about Igor.
"Don't tell me that something bad has happened to him," Aurora said again to Juan, who had been silent ever since.
"Your wound has completely healed. However, the scar can't be completely removed unless you're willing to have surgery to remove the scar."
"Juan, don't divert the conversation. Tell me where he is! Why hasn't he seen me for these two months?"
Aurora saw Juan sighing, and the man looked at her. She also continued to stare at Juan and hoped to tell where Igor was at the moment.
"Igor punished himself for putting you in danger," said Juan.
"Punishing him, what do you mean?"
Aurora listened to Juan again, who said that Igor had locked himself in a particular room, where Igor had used the room when the night of the full moon arrived.
"Why don't you ban it? Don't you know if I'm okay?" Aurora asked Juan again.
"Neither Hans nor I can forbid it. Although you both have tried to make it clear that punishing yourself is not necessary."
"Show me where the room is! I want to see him!" ordered Aurora to Juan as she walked out of the room.
"Are you sure this met him at this time? I'm not sure you can stand being in that room," Juan asked Aurora.
Aurora stopped her steps and then turned her body when she heard Juan's question. She took two steps forward until she was in front of Juan, who was staring at her as well.
"There's only Igor in that room, isn't there?" asked Aurora to Juan in an interrogative tone.
Aurora saw Juan nod her head and return to speaking. She listened carefully to everything Juan had to say about the things in the room.
"Can't I go there? It seems like you don't want me to come into that room," Aurora said to Juan because she felt that way.
"I just don't want you to see Igor in the worst possible state," Juan replied.
"Just show me where the room is. I deserve to meet Igor because he is my lover!" Aurora said to Juan again.
"Well, then come with me!" said Juan as he walked out of the room.
Aurora followed Juan from behind as long as she followed the man. In her mind, there were so many questions about the room that Igor used to punish himself.
From a distance, she saw Hans talking to two bodyguards. Aurora stopped her steps after being near Hans and the two castle guards.
"How is your wound? Has she fully recovered?" asked Hans to Aurora in front of him.
Aurora nodded and replied, "Everything has improved."
"Where are you going?" Hans asked Aurora again while looking at her and then looked at Juan.
"She wants to see you, Igor," Juan replied.
"Are you sure?" Hans asked again, but now his eyes were only on Aurora.
"I'm sure. Why do I feel that you two don't believe in me?" replied Aurora, and she asked the man in front of her again.
Aurora saw the two bodyguards salute and asked for permission to leave. She nodded as she permitted the two bodyguards to leave.
"That's it. Maybe bringing Aurora can make Igor stop punishing himself," Juan said to Hans, and he walked again with Hans.
Aurora is even more curious about the room that Igor uses to punish himself. She walked after the two men in front of her. Finally, she stopped when the two men stopped their steps in front of a room with a door tightly closed.
"Is this the room?" asked Aurora to Hans and Juan.
Aurora saw the two men nodding. After that, she saw Hans open the door of the room. She entered the room after seeing a sign from Hans that allowed her to enter.
"Won't you guys go inside?" asked Aurora to the two men.
"You come in! We'll be waiting for you outside," Hans replied.
Aurora nodded, and she walked into the room. She continued to walk even though the lighting in the room was dim.
"Why is it so dim? Does this make me a little claustrophobic," Aurora muttered as she continued to walk into the room.
Her footsteps stopped when she felt stuffy. There was no sunlight or lights in the room. And it feels so moist.
"What are you here for? I told you not if I wouldn't get out of this room!" said Igor, who felt someone enter his room.
"Can't you recognise me? Or do you really not want to meet me?" replied Aurora with another question to Igor.
"Go! I don't want to see you! I don't want to be near you! We better end our relationship!" said Igor in a tone that drove Aurora away.
"I'm not leaving! I won't leave you either! Even if you finish me off."
Aurora walked closer to a bed. She was sure that Igor was there because she heard Igor's voice coming from there. How surprised she was when she was already near the bed.
"What are you doing to you, Igor?" asked Aurora to Igor, who was lying on the bed with both tongs and his legs tied to iron chains.
"Go!" shouted Igor, who didn't want Aurora to be nearby.
"No!" said Aurora.
Without saying more, Aurora walked towards a window and pulled the curtain that blocked the sunlight into the room. Instantly, sunlight entered the room and shone on Igor's body on the bed.
Aurora opened the window in the room so that fresh air could enter the room so that the room would not feel stuffy and damp.
"Do you want to die? Why are you torturing yourself like this?!" asked Aurora in an irritated tone as she continued to open the curtains and windows that could let air and sunlight into the room.
"I deserve to die!" replied Igor.
"Do you want to die before you can avenge a thousand years ago?"
"What do you mean?" asked Igor, surprised by the question Aurora posed.
