72. Don't Scare Me

"Igor, open the door!" Aurora screamed back while banging on the bathroom door.

She stopped screaming when she saw the bathroom door open. Without thinking long, she went straight into the bathroom. She saw Igor standing there, looking at her.

"Are you okay?" asked Aurora to the lover.

Aurora saw Igor shaking his head. However, she felt that there was something strange about her lover. She also approached Igor to confirm whether her lover was injured.

"What are you hiding?" asked Aurora to Igor, who seemed to be hiding something from her.

"There's nothing I'm hiding from you."

"Lie! Show me!"

Aurora tried to see what Igor was hiding behind her body. However, it was challenging because Igor also tried not to show what was behind him.

"Honey, don't hide it from me! Hurry up and show me what you're hiding!" Aurora said to Igor again with a hint of annoyance.

"There's really nothing I have to hide."

"I don't believe it," said Aurora and again tried to see what was behind Igor.

Aurora carries out a minor attack, but unfortunately, she will fall due to slipping. Luckily, Igor quickly grabbed Aurora's body so that she didn't fall on the floor. However, what Igor did instead made what he was hiding visible to Aurora.

Aurora immediately chuckled when she saw what was in Igor's hand. She couldn't stop her laughter because Igor's finger went into a bottle.

"Stop laughing!" said Igor, who looked annoyed at Aurora while trying to get his finger out.

"How can your finger get in there and not get it out?" asked Aurora after she stopped laughing, but it wasn't long before she laughed at Igor again.

"I don't know."

Aurora also shook her head, not believing what her lover had done. She thought it was like a child curious about something new.

She finally tried to help Igor remove the bottle from his finger. However, the bottle was indeed challenging to remove from Igor's finger.

"What if we just break the bottle?" suggested Aurora to Igor.

"Stupid! Why didn't I think about it earlier?" Igor replied, who said that he was stupid.

Aurora smiled at her lover's behavior. She also went out of the bathroom as well as Igor. She sat on the sofa while staring at Igor, who was breaking the bottle with his strength.

"Have you forgotten if you're a werewolf?" asked Aurora to her lover.

"Don't tease me continuously!" replied Igor, who was still annoyed by his stupidity this time.

Aurora smiled again, relieved that Igor's finger was no longer in the bottle. She saw her lover approaching her and sitting beside her. She was a little surprised because Igor immediately slept on her lap.

"What's wrong? Are you so spoiled today? I see you like a child," Aurora asked her lover while stroking her hair gently.

"Allow me to sleep on your lap," Igor replied.

"Okay. Do what you want."

Aurora was silent, and she continued to stroke Igor's hair gently. She also remembered Marcus's arrival at her café. She thought about whether to tell Igor or not. She looked at Igor, who seemed to be asleep.

"Is there anything bothering your mind?" asked Igor as he kept his eyes closed.

"After I met Celine, someone followed me until I arrived at the café," Aurora replied.

"Go ahead!" ordered Igor. Then, he changed his position but was still lying down on Aurora's lap, and now he could see his lover's face.

Aurora continues all her stories, from Celine's problem of breaking off her relationship with Marcus to the people who follow her, as well as the deaths of the people who followed her when Marcus arrived at her café.

"Do you think their deaths have anything to do with Marcus?" asked Igor after hearing all the stories from Aurora.

"I thought so, but it was tough to get inside the interrogation room set up by Stela and Odelia."

"Then why did you tell them to make a secret room for interrogation? Didn't neither you nor Odelia decide to quit the world of hitmen?"

"I think even though there is no longer a hitman in the world, you still have to be prepared. It's impossible if the person who wants to finish me off attacks back."

Aurora looked at Igor, who changed his body position to sit beside her. It is clear that the lover is serious about what she is discussing.

"What do you think? Does this have anything to do with Marcus? Or is it all a plan made by Thom?" asked Aurora to the lover.

Aurora wanted to know Igor's interpretation of what happened to her earlier in the afternoon. She heard the sound of someone knocking on her room door. She got up, walked towards the door, and opened it.

She was a little surprised because the one who knocked on the door of her room was a female attacker, and she had never met her. Aurora frowned when she saw the woman enter the room and immediately approached Igor.

"Who is that woman?" muttered Aurora as she closed the door to the room and approached them.

"Igor, why don't you contact me or come see me?" the woman asked, spoiled by Igor, who was still sitting on the sofa.

"Why did you come here for? Didn't I tell you to stay in your house and study well!" replied Igor in a flat tone to the woman beside him.

Aurora continued to listen to what they were talking about. She had absolutely no idea who the woman beside Igor was at the moment. There were still many secrets that Igor was hiding from her, including the woman.

"Is this all because of her?" asked the woman while pointing at Aurora.

Aurora smiled when she saw the look in the woman's eyes, which looked annoyed at her. She felt that if the woman didn't like her, she would definitely attack her with all the tricks that the woman had.

"You should know your duty! Remember what your parents dreamed of? Do you want to disappoint them?" asked Igor to the woman next to him.

"I don't want to! I want you to always be by my side. I don't care about all their dreams. I only care about my dream of always being with you."

Aurora shook her head. She saw if the woman was still thinking like a typical teenage girl. Aurora sat on the bed and watched the two of them. However, she got up again and walked towards the balcony.

She felt a little annoyed as well, seeing the two of them talking like that. Aurora continued to stand on the balcony and look at the garden in front of her.

"Enough Diana! Don't be like a child!" shouted Igor, who was annoyed by the woman's attitude and heard all the way to the balcony.

Aurora decides to go into the room and see what happened with Igor and the woman. She looked at Igor, who looked annoyed by the woman's attitude.

"I'm not a kid anymore! I'm an adult and can decide what I'm going to do!" said Diana to Igor.

"Adults? Is it mature to go with that shameless man? So you decided to stop going to college? Don't you love your mother and father?" Igor again asked Diana many questions.

Aurora is increasingly confused by what happened. She saw that Igor was like an older brother who was scolding his disobedient younger brother. Even though she initially thought that the woman loved Igor and considered her like an enemy because Igor was always with her.

"Can you calm down a little?" interrupted Aurora, who saw that it would not be good if they continued to argue.

"She's like a kid who doesn't know what is right and wrong! I already know that if the man is playing with her and taking advantage of it, she still wants to be with that man!" said Igor, annoyed while staring at Aurora.

"I'm not a kid anymore! My lover loves me, and I feel it. Igor and my parents had misjudged the man. It makes it difficult for me to breathe with their desire for me to end my relationship with my lover!" continued Diana while looking at Aurora.

Aurora frowned and said, "Why are you two attacking me? Aren't you the ones who are in trouble?"

After Aurora said that, she saw Igor and Diana arguing again. The two of them ignored her again, and it made her shake her head because they were both really like children.

"I'll just go, and you guys will solve the problem of the two of you!" Aurora said to Igor and Diana, and then she walked out of the room.

"Aurora, be careful! That person is close and won't let you go," Diana said.

"Are you sure of what you say?" asked Igor, who was surprised by Diana's words.

"Is that person from my past?" asked Aurora after she stopped her steps and looked at Diana.
