28. Still Not Believing

Igor was surprised to hear that he couldn't be with Aurora. He turned his body around and saw only himself. He tried to calm down, then closed his eyes and began to use his sense of smell. He would not give up on finding Aurora.
"Why can't I find it?" muttered Igor, who couldn't smell Aurora's body.
Igor heard Hans' voice shouting Ethan's name. He rushed to Hans and saw what was happening there. Igor heard the sound of gunfire and accelerated his movements. Finally, he arrived at the location where Hans was.
"What's wrong?" asked Igor to Hans while looking around and not seeing the enemy's movements.
"Someone took Ethan, go," Hans replied.
"How can it be?"
Igor listened to Hans' explanation that he had found Ethan, but when he was about to get closer, several people took him away. However, Hans couldn't catch up with him even though he thought they were moving so fast, like Igor.
Hearing that explanation, Igor felt incredulous because a thousand years ago, all the werewolves perished along with you vampires. He tried to smell Ethan's body but couldn't.
"Who are they exactly? Why can't I smell Aurora and Ethan's body scent?" muttered Igor.
Igor also ordered all his men to comb the forest. He felt confident that Aurora and Ethan were still alive. Likewise, he also searched for the whereabouts of the two of them.
However, their search could have been more fruitless. Even though Aurora and Ethan have both disappeared for a month, Igor and everyone have not been able to find them until this day.
"Igor, you got an invitation from Toms Collin," said Hans while handing an invitation card to Igor.
"Toms Collin... Isn't he the man who wants Aurora?" muttered Igor as he read the invitation letter.
The invitation implied that Hans hoped Igor would be present at tonight's party. He also asked Hans to prepare because he would attend the party and wanted to know Toms's plans.
Igor went straight to his room and got ready. It didn't take long for him to finish. He walked out of his room and saw Hans, who was ready to come with him.
"Hans, do you still believe that Ethan is still alive?" asked Igor to Hans, who was beside him at the moment.
"I'm sure he's still alive. He is not a weak man who easily succumbs to death."
"I'm sorry for not being able to protect your brother," Igor continued.
"You are our master even though you forbid the four of us to call you master. Our lives are yours, and we are not afraid of death."
Igor stopped his steps and got into the car, followed by Hans. The car left the castle and went straight to the party held by Toms Collin.
Not long after, Igor arrived at a house in a modern style. The guard of the house was so tight that Igor could see that the guards were not ordinary guards.
"You have to be careful because their guards cannot be underestimated," Igor said to Hans.
"Okay," Hans replied briefly.
The two of them walked into the house and stopped for a moment to be checked. After being checked, Igor and Hans walked back into the house.
Many invited guests attended. They were all well-known businessmen in York City, and some were also from other cities. Igor took a glass of drink while looking around the room.
His sense of smell began to smell the scent of someone he knew. He also quickly combed the room to find the person who was none other than Aurora.
"What's wrong?" asked Hans, who noticed the change in Igor beside him.
"Aurora, it's here," Igor replied.
Not long after Igor said that, a door opened, and a walking Toms Collin was seen walking into the banquet hall. Next to the man was a beautiful woman wearing a black dress.
"Aurora," muttered Igor who saw Aurora walking along with Toms.
"Not now, Igor! We'll see what Toms Collin will do," said Hans while blocking Igor, who was about to approach Aurora.
Igor also obeyed what Hans said. For some reason, he couldn't think clearly about Aurora. He continued to look at Aurora, who was smiling beside Toms while talking to the people near them.
"You stay vigilant! I want to breathe fresh air," said Igor, and then he left Hans.
Igor continued to walk out of the banquet hall as he saw Aurora, who was also out. He continued to follow the woman until he was finally in the back garden.
"Why are you following me?" asked a woman behind Igor.
Igor turned his body around, and he smiled at the sight of Aurora. Reflexively, he immediately hugged Aurora to release his longing.
"Let me go! Otherwise, you will regret it!" threatened the woman as she pointed a dagger at Igor's stomach.
Igor felt a sharp object slightly pierce his stomach, and he let go of his embrace. He looked at the woman in front of him, and he was sure that the woman was Aurora.
"Your body scent is the same as hers. Have you forgotten me, Aurora Baylee?" Igor asked as he continued to stare at him intently.
"I'm indeed Aurora Baylee, but I don't recognize you. Do we know each other?"
Igor was shocked when he heard Aurora's words. He didn't understand why Aurora couldn't recognize him, and he wondered if something had happened to Aurora after the attack one month ago.
"You are my lover. Why can you forget me?" Igor said to Aurora again.
Igor also told all the things that could make Aurora remember about her. However, it is obvious that Aurora does not recognize him at all and does not believe everything that he says.
"Enough of the story. I think you've misidentified people. Is my face similar to your lover's? Is all this your work to get someone's sympathy and trap him?" said Aurora in a flat tone.
"You still don't believe me," Igor said, and then he moved quickly to release the dagger in Aurora's hand.
After that, he hugged Aurora again and said that he was indeed his lover. He would recognize the woman he loved so much.
"You're crazy!" said Aurora. Then he tried again to break free, and finally, she managed to break free from Igor's arms.
Igor immediately dodges Aurora's attack, who seems annoyed with him. He doesn't strike back and lets it go because he thinks maybe all of this could bring up his memories of their first meeting in this life.
Aurora's attack almost overwhelmed Igor. He finally counterattacked and suppressed her. Their fight continued until, finally, the two of them fell.
"Why did you forget me? I am your lover!" said Igor with a heavy breath.
"I don't believe in a man like you! You're a sloppy man! Hurry up and let me go!" said Aurora who felt annoyed because currently the man's body was on top of hers.
"I didn't think that an Igor Gerald could do something like this. Sir, do we finish them off at once?" said someone while pointing a gun at Igor.
