41. Jealous

"What's wrong? Just say it! What makes you feel reluctant to go back there? Haven't you been around for a long time...."

"I still have something to get done. I promise you that when all my business is done I will follow you there," Odelia interrupted before Aurora finished her question.

Aurora looked at Odelia. She wouldn't force it anymore. She believed in her friend and was sure Odelia would tell her everything later.

"Okay. Then I'll go back to the castle with Claudia," Aurora said to the three women before her.

"I'll prepare a car for you," Stella continued, then she left Aurora.

"I'll take my things," Claudia said after Stella's departure.

Aurora nodded, and she watched Claudia walk away from her. Meanwhile, Odelia was still in front of her. She invites Odelia to take her outside while talking about something to her.

"I'm sorry I haven't been able to tell you everything. There's still something I need to make sure first," Odelia said to Aurora as she continued to walk out of the house.

"Is this dangerous? Or could it make a big deal inside the castle?"

"No."

"Alright. I'll be waiting for you. I won't force you anymore."

Aurora stopped her steps after being in front of the house. She sees Stela preparing a car for her. Now she is waiting for Claudia, who will return with her to Igor castle.

"Do you want me to deliver you?" asked Stela to Aurora.

"No need. I want you to investigate some things for me," Aurora replied.

"Alright. I'll do it and you can send all the things you want to my phone or email."

Aurora nodded and took her phone from inside her jacket pocket. She sent her a few things she wanted and had written them down before meeting with Stela.

"I've already sent it. Do what I wrote!" said Aurora to Stela.

Aurora saw Stella nodding, and it wasn't long before Claudia arrived. Aurora immediately got into her car, followed by Claudia, and drove the car away from home to Igor Castle.

During the trip, Aurora and Claudia had a chance to talk. However, there was nothing special because Aurora wasn't too curious about the woman. A few moments later, she arrived at the castle without any hindrances or obstacles.

Aurora saw Igor and Hans standing in front of the house's entrance. She felt the man was upset with her for leaving without her permission.

"Claudia," Igor mentioned the name of Claudia, who was next to Aurora.

"Igor, do you know her?" asked Aurora, who heard Igor call Claudia's name.

Aurora continued to stare at the man in front of her because Igor didn't answer her question quickly. She thinks maybe Igor also knows her because Claudia is related to Ethan. However, what makes him curious is why Hans doesn't know Claudia, instead Igor, who recognizes her.

"How are you, Igor?" Claudia asked, smiling at Igor, who hadn't seen her for a long time.

"I'm good," Igor replied briefly.

"Hans, this is the woman Ethan once said," Aurora interrupted, and she stared at Igor.

After saying that, Aurora walked into the house. She passed by the man and went straight to her room. For some reason, she felt annoyed if Igor knew another woman, and she found out.

"What's wrong with me? There's no way I'm jealous of her, right?" Aurora muttered as she closed the door to her room.

Aurora sat on the sofa. She was silent, and her mind still thought about Igor knowing Claudia. She looked towards the door because someone knocked on her, and she also heard Igor's voice asking for permission to enter.

She ignored Igor, who kept knocking on her room door. However, she finally gave up because she was already too noisy and afraid of making a fuss. Aurora stood up, walked closer to the door, and opened it.

"What's wrong?" asked Aurora flatly after opening the room door.

"You're angry?"

"Angry? What are you angry for?" replied Aurora while walking towards the bed.

Aurora reflexively screamed in surprise when Igor held her. The man gently laid her down on the bed and saw Igor's smile, which upset Aurora.

"Don't be jealous of her. You know that in my heart there is only one of you, either a thousand years ago or now," Igor said softly to Aurora.

Aurora only listened silently to Igor's explanation while settling her eyeballs. At the same time, wanting to know if Igor told the truth or lied to her again.

She turned her face away when she felt Igor's lips about to kiss her. Aurora still couldn't fully believe what the man said.

Igor held her chin so that they looked at each other. They didn't speak, but their eyes could be seen talking while explaining that in their hearts, there was only love, and there would be no betrayal.

Slowly, they got closer, and Igor managed to kiss Aurora. She closed her eyes to enjoy Igor's soft and warm kiss.

"Trust me. There's nothing between her and me," Igor said again in a gentle tone after he let go of his kiss.

"I believe in you."

Aurora took the initiative to kiss Igor's lips and close her eyes. She truly enjoyed every gentle touch of the man creeping across her body. Finally, she couldn't hold back her voice coming out of her mouth when Igor's tongue swept over her neck.

The sound of a knock on the door bothers Igor and annoys him. So he got up and walked closer to the door with his annoyance. Aurora only smiled at Igor, who was annoyed because he had been bullied by someone behind the door of his room.

Aurora also changed her body position to sit on the bed while tidying up her clothes. She heard the voice of a man who was reporting something to Igor.

"Go! If there is something you have to do," Aurora told Igor.

"Wait for me, and remember not to go anywhere except inside the castle!" Igor said in a commanding tone.

"The garden... Can I go to the garden?"

Aurora saw Igor nodding his head. The man left his room and closed the door to his room. She got up and walked to a closet. She took her clothes and changed them. After that, she walked out of the room.

She went straight to the garden behind the castle. She saw so many guards, but it was not like the usual days. However, she didn't mind that and continued walking until he was near a fountain.

"Claudia... What is she doing there? Who is she talking to?" asked Aurora, curious about what the woman was doing in the garden.
