6. Full Of Confidence

Aurora still pointed her gun at Igor. Even though she knew that Igor's guards surrounded her, they all threw their weapons at her.
"Don't shoot her! She will never be able to hurt me," Igor ordered all his bodyguards.
"Why are you so confident, Igor Gerald? Do you think I can't shoot this weapon of mine at you?"
Aurora smiled sarcastically at the man in front of her. She thought that Igor had underestimated her. She heard Odelia's voice through the earpiece. Her friend told Aurora to leave immediately and not to look for trouble with Igor. Odelia also said to finish off Ben, who had killed Angela immediately.
"I know what I have to do," Aurora said, then disconnected her communication with Odelia.
She smiled and then fired her weapon at Ben. A bullet pierced the man's head. She turned her body around and walked away from Igor. Strangely, she thought that the man would not order all the bodyguards to chase after her.
She thought she was right because nothing prevented her from leaving the old building. She sat on her motorbike, and then Aurora put on her helmet. She started her motorbike and left the old building. Aurora pedalled her bicycle quickly until she finally arrived at her house.
She was currently in her room. She took off her jacket and stored the weapon on the bed. Aurora took off her shirt slowly because she endured the pain from the gunshot wound that was still wet.
"Are you crazy?!" asked someone who entered Aurora's room without knocking on the door first.
"Don't you already know me, Odelia?"
"Why do you keep provoking him? You know if he's a ruthless man?"
"You mean Igor Gerald? If it's him, I'm not afraid at all."
Aurora took a medicine box and said, "Help me."
After saying that, she sat down on the bed. She lets Odelia clean the wound, apply medicine, and then cover it with a bandage.
"Odelia, for one or two months, don't accept missions. I want both of us to focus on the company," said Aurora.
"Okay. I also got information about whether the construction of a resort in Korea is in trouble."
"Then we're going tonight!"
"I've prepared everything."
***
Aurora is already in Korea and sitting in her work chair. She is checking the documents on her desk one by one. She has been in Korea for a week and is preoccupied with reports and problems that are befalling one of her resorts.
"Aurora, it looks like we have to go to Jeju Island," said Odelia, who had just entered her office.
"Why? Don't you know if there's a problem in this hotel?"
"The construction of our resort there is also a problem."
Aurora placed the document in her hand on the table. She listened to Odelia's information. She shook her head, wondering why the problem had reappeared, even though she had entrusted her business in this country to her parents' confidants.
"Am I misjudging him? Why has it performed so poorly in the past few years?" muttered Aurora.
"I think you should consider changing some people in this company."
"It seems so. I have to start looking for competent people in this business. I don't want the company built by my parents bust."
Aurora also told Odelia a few more things. She asked her friend to start looking for suitable replacements for people in her company. Aurora took her mobile phone off the table. She saw a text message coming in and read it.
After reading the short message, Aurora said, "It looks like I have to go to Jeju Island."
"Do you want me to accompany you?"
"No need. I want you to stay here and do what I told you."
"Okay."
Aurora also saw Odelia out of her office. She refocused on the two documents that had to be completed before her departure to Jeju Island.
She checked all the documents and handed them to Odelia. She also mentioned some additional things that her friend had to do. After saying everything, she returned to her room and prepared to depart for Jeju Island.
Preparations are complete. Aurora walked out from inside the hotel room. Aurora's steps stopped when she felt someone watching her.
"No way," She muttered as she continued to walk out of the hotel.
Odelia had prepared a driver and a car to take her to the airport. While on the way, she increased her alertness because she still felt someone was following her.
Finally, she arrived at the airport, and nothing happened. She immediately entered the plane that would take her to Jeju Island—an hour or so later, Aurora finally arrived. At the airport, there was already a man waiting for her.
"Miss Aurora, please... I'll take you to the hotel," the man said politely.
Aurora nodded, and she followed the man into the car. She looked at the street she passed. Indeed, this island is so beautiful that it is only fitting that her parents invested in it, even though Korea is not a country that is well known to her parents.
"Maybe Mom and Dad liked this place after vacationing here," Aurora muttered.
During the journey, she listened to the words of the driving man. All of that information is about the problems in the resort that is being built.
She became increasingly curious about the problems occurring because no one could solve the problem. She considers that her company's people are competent in their fields. And that convinced him even more to replace several people in her company.
"Why do you think no one can solve this problem?" asked Aurora.
"It seems this has something to do with one of our company's rivals. "That company is the biggest company in Korea, or maybe it is..." The man answered but didn't finish because he was shocked and stepped hard on his car's brake pedal.
Aurora was surprised when her head hit the seat before her, and the man suddenly squeezed. She touched her forehead and then looked ahead to discover what had happened.
"Miss, you better stay inside. I'll check everything," said the man, and he got out of the car.
