81. Something Hidden
Aurora, who was still shocked, forgot about Celine, who continued to attack her until punches and kicks finally hit her. Making her fall unconscious because her head hit the wall.
She opened her eyes and looked around the room. She was inside her room in the castle. Aurora doesn't understand why she can be in the castle.
"How can I be here?" muttered Aurora while holding her head in pain.
"Finally, you woke up too," said Igor as he walked closer to Aurora.
Aurora still doesn't understand why she is still in the room. She couldn't remember anything more than the last time someone followed her car.
"Honey, what happened to me?" asked Aurora to Igor, who was already sitting beside her.
"Your car hit the guardpost," Igor replied.
Aurora listened to Igor's explanation and felt she did not hit the guardpost. However, Igor showed a photo of her car whose front had been destroyed by the accident.
"Have you forgotten it?" asked Igor to Aurora after finishing telling what happened.
"I don't remember at all. All I remember is that only one person always watches at the café and follows me constantly," Aurora replied.
"There is no need to think again. I'll find out everything," said Igor while holding Aurora's hand.
Aurora looked at Igor and then hugged him. Even though her lover said that something was still missing from her memory, causing him to be unable to calm down. She still felt that she had to remember what happened because there must have been something important that had happened to her.
"I hope you don't leave the castle these days," Igor said again to Aurora, who was still in his arms.
"Why? Can't I go to my father's company or my cafe?" asked Aurora as she let go of her embrace.
Aurora can't stay home because she has to take care of several things at her father's company. She doesn't want if there is chaos after Celine departs from her father's company. Suddenly her head hurt again after she remembered Celine's name.
"What's wrong? Where is the pain? Do we go to the hospital?" Igor asked Aurora a few questions in a worried tone.
Aurora smiled and said, "It's okay. Maybe I need to rest."
"Then you just rest. Meanwhile, the café problem is left to Stela to take care of, and your company, Odelia, will solve it for a while," Igor told Aurora.
Aurora nodded and was about to do what Igor said. She believed that with her two friends, she could overcome everything without them. However, something was still in her heart because she had forgotten something important.
"I have to take care of something. Call me if you need anything," Igor said back to his lover, and he kissed her lips at a glance.
Aurora smiled and then saw Igor leaving her room. She tried to get off the bed, but her body was in pain. She uncovered her clothes, and a bruise appeared on her stomach.
"I'm sure I've forgotten something," Aurora muttered.
She walked towards the bathroom and undressed all her clothes. Sure enough, the bruises were not only in the abdomen. It made her think hard about the events she had forgotten.
"What, Igor also knew and deliberately didn't tell me?" Aurora wondered again.
Aurora put her clothes back on, and she walked towards the balcony. However, her steps stopped when she heard her cell phone ring. She approached the night and took her phone.
She looked at her phone screen and saw Celine's name. She kept staring at the screen until her phone rang off. It wasn't long before Celine contacted her again, and she picked up the phone from her cousin.
"Hello," Aurora said to Celine on the other end of the phone.
She listened to Celine's words. Hearing the cousin's voice made her even more curious. However, she couldn't explain the worry in her heart.
"You don't have to worry about me because I'm fine," Aurora said to Celine on the other end of the phone.
Aurora didn't expect her cousin to know about her accident. She listened again to Celine, who apologized for being unable to help Aurora run her father's legacy company.
Celine also reminded Aurora not to interfere in her affairs, especially her relationship with Marcus, because she would always be by Marcus' side and not care about anything else.
"Are you threatening me, Celine?" Aurora asked, feeling that her cousin was threatening her.
Aurora heard the cousin chuckle. When she heard Celine's laughter, she felt a strange feeling in her heart. She tried to recall but still couldn't, and her head hurt again.
"If that's what you want, then I won't interfere. I won't care about you any more whether you live or die," Aurora said to Celine again, and she hung up the phone.
She stood sculpting because she remembered Celine's words and the taste that upset her cousin. However, she was sure something else made her furious, but she still didn't know about it.
"I have to remember the one that's gone," Aurora muttered, and she climbed onto the bed.
She forgot that she intended to go to the balcony. She laid down her body and closed her eyes. Aurora tried to calm herself down to remember everything that had happened to her.
Aurora is also looking for reasons why she can forget what she thinks is essential. Finally, she fell asleep and woke up again the next day.
"Honey, is your work so much that you just came back to your room?" Aurora asked after seeing Igor, who had just walked into her room.
"I'm sorry I couldn't accompany you. I have a lot of work to do, and I have to finish it quickly," Igor smiled and sat down next to Aurora.
"Do you need help from me?"
"No need. I want to be by your side right now and let me hug you."
Aurora smiled and let Igor rest on her lap. However, Igor didn't take long to withdraw her hand until she lay on the bed.
"Accompany me for a moment," Igor said to Aurora.
"I'll accompany you," Aurora replied.
Aurora didn't ask many more questions until she realized Igor was asleep. She also did not get up from the bed and accompanied her lover to rest.
"It seems like you're working hard," Aurora muttered.
Two hours have passed. Igor has woken up and is sitting on the sofa. He is reading some of the messages that came into his phone.
"Honey, you're sure you don't need my help?" Aurora asked Igor, who was beside him again.
"Yes, I can still handle it. I also don't want you to overthink, as it could interfere with your health."
Aurora needed clarification on what Igor said. She looked at her lover questioningly. She felt sure that there was something that her lover was hiding from her.
"Don't hide anything from me!" said Aurora in a severe tone to her lover.
She continued to stare at Igor, who was now also staring at her. She realized that her lover was hiding something from her because her feelings were never wrong.
"Come in!" ordered Igor to someone who knocked on the door of his room.
Aurora was upset because Igor had not answered her question. However, people had already come and interrupted the conversation that she thought was important, along with Igor.
She looked towards the door and saw Odelia approaching towards her. Aurora didn't know Odelia would come to the castle this afternoon. She continued to look at her friend until she was in front of her and sat across from her.
"How are you doing?" asked Odelia to Aurora.
"I'm fine."
"You two talk! I'm going to my workspace," Igor interrupted. Then he got up and walked out of the room.
Aurora continued looking at Igor, who felt she was avoiding her. However, she would not give up and would continue to demand an explanation from Igor about some of the things the man had hidden from her.
"I've found the right person to replace Celine," Odelia said.
"Are you sure of that person?"
Aurora saw Odelia nodding and began to explain about the person who would replace Celine. She had a lot of faith in that person because she had known her family for a long time.
"Alright, I'll agree with everything you propose," Aurora said to Odelia after hearing her explanation.
Aurora fell silent again; it wasn't long before she looked at Odelia. She wondered if her friend knew something that she had forgotten.
"Odelia, you know what happened to me, right?" asked Aurora to Odelia.
"Everything may go according to the plan that has been made. However, I am sure your love will win this time, and you will be together forever," Odelia replied.
"What do you mean?"
