42. Something Hidden

Aurora was still looking at Claudia, who was disappearing behind a tree. Her curiosity was so great that she walked towards Claudia. She stopped her steps when she heard Claudia's voice, and Claudia was talking to a man.

"This is not my business. Why should I know what she's doing?" muttered Aurora, then turned her body around.

Just when she was about to leave, she canceled because Aurora heard a man's voice she knew. Aurora was still standing behind the tree and listening to their conversation.

"Apparently you like to eavesdrop too?" someone in Aurora's ear whispered.

Aurora was shocked and was about to hit the person. However, the person directly held Aurora's hand and kissed her.

"Igor!" said Aurora in a low tone.

"Who are you watching?" Igor asked Aurora.

"Nothing."

Aurora was annoyed by the man who had already surprised her. She turned her body again and wanted to listen to Claudia's conversation. She took a few steps forward and no longer saw Claudia and the person who spoke to her.

"She's gone apparently," Aurora muttered.

"Who are you talking about?" Igor asked Aurora.

"Claudia... I heard her talking to someone."

"Who?"

"I don't know. I think she talked to you."

Aurora is still curious about the man whose voice is almost the same as Igor. She stared at Igor because she heard the man's cell phone ringing.

"Go back to your room when you're done. There is something I have to do," said Igor after he saw the number that contacted him.

"Go! I'll be back in the room in a minute."

Aurora also saw Igor leave after nodding her head. She looked at the man until he finally disappeared.

"That's it. I'll find out everything. I'll just watch her until I know what the woman wants," Aurora muttered.

Aurora still wants to take a walk in the garden. She continued walking until she finally came near a maze. Aurora went into the maze and took her phone from her pants pocket. She saw the number that contacted her.

"Hello," Aurora said after picking up her phone because the one who contacted her was Celine.

She listened to everything her cousin said. Aurora felt that something was different about her cousin's tone of speech. She smiled because her thoughts were wrong now.

"Didn't I already give you a chance to take care of it? Now why would you want to let it go? Am I misjudging your performance?" Aurora asked her cousin a few questions.

Aurora then listened to the woman's answer again while walking out of the maze she had just entered. Occasionally, she shook her head because women were weak when faced with men who were already in her past.

"So what do you want?" asked Aurora.

She listened to Celine's answer and granted all her cousin's wishes. For some reason, she also didn't feel scared if Celine snatched everything from her.

"This time I gave you a chance. I hope you don't disappoint me! I remind you once more. Even though you've already entered my company... you still can't steal it from me!" Aurora said to Celine while emphasizing to her cousin the power she possessed.

After saying that, Aurora disconnected the phone. She was also finally able to leave the labyrinth without encountering any obstacles.

"Why is it so easy?" muttered Aurora.

Aurora continued to mesh and stopped at the pavilion. She sat there to rest for a while. It wasn't long before she saw Claudia waving at her while smiling.

"Have you talked to Hans?" asked Aurora after Claudia sat beside her.

"Not yet. I still feel confused just to start."

"Start from the beginning. I'm sure Hans will listen to you."

"He's very different from Ethan and also, Igor."

Her curiosity grew when Claudia mentioned Igor's name. Aurora felt that she had to know it in depth.

"Igor... How did you know him? Is it Hans who has introduced you?" Aurora asked the woman sitting beside her again.

Aurora looked at Claudia, who couldn't quickly answer the question she had just asked. She tried to be patient, but the woman kept her mouth shut.

"I'm sorry," said Claudia. The woman got off and left Aurora with her net.

Aurora was even more curious after the woman's words and attitude. She is also increasingly convinced that something is between Igor and Claudia.

"Something must have happened," Aurora muttered as she entered the house.

She stopped her steps when she saw Hans in front of her. Aurora intends to ask the man about Igor, who already knows Claudia.

"Hans, is this the first time you've met Claudia?" Aurora asked Hans in an investigative tone.

"Yes. I also don't know if the woman knows Igor."

"Why don't you know? Haven't you always been by his side?"

"Not all the time I'm by his side. A few times I went abroad a lot and at that time Ethan was by Igor's side, if it wasn't him, then Juan was by his side."

Aurora also described what happened in the garden when she heard Claudia talking to someone. She felt that if Hans knew about it, the man would definitely investigate.

"Are you sure?" asked Hans.

"Either I have to believe in that woman or not. However, didn't she just arrive at this castle today? Why does she feel so familiar with this castle."

"I'll investigate it. I hope you stay vigilant and don't trust anyone you just know!" said Hans, and then he left Aurora.

"Wait, Hans!" called Aurora.

However, Hans didn't listen to her and continued walking away. She felt something was happening in this castle, so Hans warned her.

"There's really something hidden from me," Aurora muttered as she walked to her room.

She sat on the bed and remembered the words of Hans and Claudia, who had hidden her introduction to Igor. Coupled with Odelia, who is reluctant to return to this castle.

Aurora kept thinking and remembering everything that happened to her. However, she still didn't find all the answers to all the questions that came up in her mind. She was also upset with herself and all those who had hidden something from her.

"What actually happened? Why do I feel if anything is hidden from me?" asked Aurora.
