75. Not Now

Aurora tries to recall her dream. However, she still couldn't remember Marcus' face.

"How?" Igor asked Aurora again.

"I can't remember it," Aurora replied.

"Go back to sleep! Maybe tomorrow morning you will be calmer," Igor ordered Aurora.

Aurora nodded and lay down again in Igor's arms. She tried to close her eyes but could not because she remembered her dream. However, she couldn't see her father's face in her past.

Finally, she fell asleep in the morning. Aurora received information from Stela and had to go to the café. She looked at Igor sitting on the sofa while reading a newspaper.

"Unfortunately, I have to go to the café because I have something to do," said Aurora while sitting beside Igor.

"Go! But remember that you have to continue to be vigilant about the people near you!" Igor replied.

Aurora was happy with her lover's answer. She felt that Igor understood and believed her, so the man did not tell her to stay in the castle or leave with some bodyguards she had prepared.

"When did you go to the café?" asked Igor.

"Now," Aurora replied, and then she kissed Igor.

Aurora smiled when she saw her lover's smile. She then left on her motorcycle, spurring it at high speed so that she could arrive at the café quickly.

A few moments later, Aurora arrived at the café. She was in her room waiting for Stela's arrival. She thought that the woman was already in the café. Stela hadn't arrived yet and was still doing some of the work ordered by her.

She took her mobile phone to the nightstand because someone had contacted her. Aurora frowned because the number she called was unknown to her.

"Who is this person?" asked Aurora while looking at her phone screen.

Aurora wanted to ignore the person, but the person kept contacting her. Finally, she picked up her phone and listened to what the person on the other end said.

"Never threaten me!" said Aurora to the person on the other end of the phone.

She listened to the person again, and the annoyance in her heart grew. Aurora also told the person not to look for trouble with her because she could quickly find her whereabouts. After seeing it, she would teach the person a lesson.

Aurora frowned when she heard the sound of the person's laughter. It seemed like the person didn't feel scared at all by what she said, and it is possible that the person also did not believe what she said just now.

"You've chosen the wrong target," Aurora said again, then hung up.

She was momentarily silent and thought about everything the person who had contacted her had just said. Aurora dialed her cousin's cell phone number. She heard the sound of a dial tone, but Celine couldn't pick it up. Aurora kept contacting her cousin and hoped that nothing wrong would happen to her.

"Pick up!" muttered Aurora as she waited for her cousin to pick up the phone.

She was a little relieved when Celine finally picked up the phone from her. She directly asked where she was at the moment. She continued to ask questions without giving her cousin a chance for the questions that she had asked.

"Okay. I'll listen to you," Aurora said to Celine on the other phone.

Aurora listened to the answers to all the questions she had asked just now. She was relieved that nothing had happened to her cousin.

In other words, the people who contact her are only pranksters. However, something surprised her because Celine said she had forgiven Marcus and returned to be with him.

"Celine, are you sure of your decision?" Aurora asked the cousin again.

Aurora was speechless after hearing her cousin's explanation. She could only pray that Marcus wasn't her father a thousand years ago and that the man could make Celine happy.

"I'll wait for you to hear from me," Aurora said, then she hung up the phone.

She sighed and then put her phone on the table. Aurora leaned her body back in her work chair. She thought of Celine's words, asking her not to interfere with her affairs with Marcus.

Aurora saw Stela walking towards her room from the glass wall. It wasn't that long before Stela was already in front of her.

"How? Have you collected everything I asked?" asked Aurora to the woman before her.

"Already," Stela replied as she handed Aurora a tablet.

Aurora took the tablet and read some of the information that Stela had gathered. She smiled as she read all the information, which convinced her that the opportunity given to that person was wrong.

"What will you do to the person?" asked Stela to Aurora.

"I'll think about it. A well-deserved punishment for the one who has squandered the opportunity I have given."

"Alright. I'll wait for your next order. However, can you give me a few days to take care of something?" continued Stela.

"What business? Do you need help from me? Or do you want me to accompany you?" asked Aurora enthusiastically.

Stela smiled and replied, "No need. I can still handle it."

"I allow it. I hope you will contact me if you need my help!" continued Aurora.

Aurora saw Stela nodding and the woman leaving her. Not long after Stela's departure, she saw the arrival of a woman she knew.

"What does she want? Did she come here only as a visitor?" muttered Aurora as she continued to pay attention to the woman.

How surprised Aurora was when she saw the woman approached by a man she knew. Aurora got up and walked out of her office. She intended to approach them. Her steps were stopped when Odelia prevented her from approaching them.

"Not now!" ordered Odelia as she invited her back into the office.

"Why are you blocking me?" asked Aurora to Odelia.

"It's not the time yet. Just let those two people do what they want," answered Odelia.

"Explain to me what you know!" Aurora ordered to Odelia.

Aurora looked at Odelia, nodded, and listened to everything her friend explained. She could only smile because there were so many petty people around her.

"I hope you can wait until they show their decay," Odelia said back to Aurora, who was still looking at the two people outside the room.

"Okay. I'll wait!" Aurora continued, looking at the two people out there.

"Aurora, I've decided something so important for myself," Odelia said, making Aurora focus on her.

"Have you decided to accept love, Hans?"

Aurora smiled as she saw Odelia nodding her head. She felt happy with her friend's decision. However, she still saw a sense of worry in Odelia's look.

"I know this decision could be fatal for both of you. However, it would be nice if you felt happiness because nothing is impossible if fate changes this time," Aurora said to Odelia.

Odelia smiled, "I know. That's why I decided to accept it and feel happy, although I know it was the end of our romantic relationship."

Aurora hasn't asked anything further about Odelia's statement just now. She knew that her friend still had a mission that could be said to be so heavy and might take a long time.

"They're gone," Aurora said after seeing the two people leaving the cafe.

"Just let them. I have ordered someone always to watch their movements," Odelia continued.

Aurora chuckles as she realizes that she or Odelia can't escape the underworld and the world of hitmen. Maybe only actual death can make her detach from those two things.

"Why are you laughing?" asked Odelia, curious about her friend's attitude.

"It seems like we can't escape the circle of the underworld," Aurora replied.

"What you said is true. I also can't escape the shadow of a thousand years ago."

Aurora was instantly silent when she heard Odelia's words because she, too, couldn't escape the shadow of the past. Suddenly, she remembered her father, which made her even more reluctant to lose Igor.

The room was silent. Aurora and Odelia were quiet because they were busy with their thoughts until a phone call woke them both.

"Odelia, your cell phone is ringing," Aurora told her friend.

Aurora saw Odelia take her phone and immediately picked it up. She saw his friend say in a low tone that the person who contacted her was Hans.

She also signaled Odelia to leave. Aurora knew that maybe Odelia and Hans needed a lot of time together so that she would not disturb her friend.

"I hope you two can be happy. I also hope there will be a miracle that can keep you all together," Aurora muttered while looking at Odelia, who continued walking outside from inside her office.

Aurora smiled and then shook her head because she suddenly missed Igor. She took her phone and immediately contacted her lover.

"Aren't you busy?" Aurora immediately asked after Igor quickly picked up the phone from her.

Instantly, her face changed because the one who picked up the phone was a woman.

"Who are you?" asked Aurora in an interrogating tone.
