73. Who You Really Are
"What I asked earlier is true? Is that person from my past?" Aurora asked Diana again.
Aurora is still looking at Diana and waiting for an answer to her question. She feels that there is something strange about the young woman because she feels an aura that is not the same as the other women's.
"Diana, tell me what you saw or felt!" Igor said in a commanding tone to Diana.
"I can't see it, but I can sense if someone is targeting it. That person also doesn't want to see the two of you happy. That's why I want to always be by your side," Diana replied.
Aurora still needs to understand Diana's abilities. However, she saw if Igor believed what the young woman said.
"You can't be by my side. It's all for your good, and I also don't want you to continue to contact that man," Igor said.
"You can't! I couldn't part with him because I loved him. Don't you also love Aurora very much? If you do, you can also feel what I feel with my lover."
"Explain to me exactly why Diana can feel all that?" Aurora interrupted the conversation between Diana and Igor because she was still curious about what Diana had just said.
"Your lover will explain it. I'm going to leave because my lover is waiting for me," Diana replied, and then she came out of the room.
"You stubborn!" grumbled Igor as he watched Diana's departure.
Aurora approached Igor, who was still sitting on the sofa. She also sat right next to Igor. She waits for her lover to explain Diana's abilities.
"Explain it to me!" ordered Aurora to the lover in a severe tone.
"I'll explain."
Aurora listened carefully to everything that the lover explained. She didn't think that Igor had ever saved Diana's family, and Diana's great-grandfather had once helped Diana when he was in danger a few hundred years ago.
"So she does have a power?" Aurora asked Igor again.
"Yes. Diana gained that power because her ancestors also had the power to sense danger. However, they can't know who the person who could harm us is."
Aurora understood now why Diana couldn't explain who that person was. Apparently, the woman's strength still had some weaknesses. However, Diana's warning could make Aurora even more vigilant.
"Are you satisfied with the explanation I gave?" asked Igor to his lover, who was beside him while looking at him.
"Already. However, I was thinking that Diana liked you and wanted to have you."
"Honey, are you jealous?" Igor asked again in a seductive tone to Aurora.
"No."
Aurora looked at Igor, who was laughing. She was sure that the man was laughing at her. Aurora wouldn't let him keep laughing. Finally, she kissed a glimpse of Igor's lips.
"Why only a glimpse?" asked Igor as he pulled Aurora's hand and sat his lover on his lap.
Aurora looked into Igor's eyes, which looked full of love and tenderness. She felt calm while she was nearby. At a glance, she imagined Igor's thirsty gaze for the death of the person she saw as Igor turned into a werewolf.
She closed her eyes as Igor kissed her lips gently. Aurora returned the kiss and felt so warm she slowly became more aggressive, and Igor's hand began to walk on her body.
Igor stopped kissing Aurora and asked, "Are you hungry? Your stomach is struggling to beg for food."
"Yes, I'm hungry," replied Aurora, who was a little embarrassed because her stomach rumbled as she enjoyed every gentle touch of her lover.
Aurora saw Igor smiling, and then the man pressed a button near the sofa. Not long after, a servant entered the room. Igor immediately asked the waiter to prepare dinner and bring it into the room.
She saw the servant nodding, and the servant left the room to prepare everything that Igor had ordered. A few moments later, the servant brought a dinner dish that the head chef inside the castle had made.
"Eat!" said Igor to Aurora after he saw the food on the table.
"You don't eat?"
"I'm full. I have something to settle with Hans. It could be a bit long if you're sleepy. You can go to bed first."
Aurora nodded. She saw Igor get up and walk out of the room. After Igor's departure, she began to eat the dishes on the table.
She enjoyed it so much that when she finished, she called the servant who was already standing in front of her room. In other words, the waitress waited for the lady to finish her dinner.
"Have you waited a long time out there?" asked Aurora to the servant.
"Not really. You finish the dinner quickly," the servant replied in a respectful tone.
"You tidy everything up, and after that, you can rest if all your work is done," continued Aurora.
Aurora saw the servant nodding. The servant worked quickly, but there was no noise as she tidied up the dirty dishes on the table.
"Is there anything else you need?" asked the servant to the lady.
"Nothing."
Aurora saw the maid leave her room and close the door tightly. After the waiter's departure, Aurora decided to stand on the balcony for a while while waiting for all the food to be processed in her stomach.
"Can't you get in through the door?" asked Aurora to someone who was already behind her.
"This is interesting. It turns out that the killer's instinct can't go away even if you've stopped."
"The same goes for you, isn't it, Odelia? You are instead acting like an intruder into the heavily guarded castle of Igor."
"However, the guard is nasty because I can easily enter this castle."
Aurora chuckled when she heard what Odelia said. For some reason, the person who was nearby for today was like a child. This afternoon, Igor's finger went into the bottle. Now, it was Odelia who thought that the guarding of the castle guards was very bad.
"Do you think Hans is doing a bad job?" asked Aurora to the friend next to him.
"You mean he let me in easily? In other words, he already knew if I infiltrated this castle?"
"Yes. Hans did all that to you on purpose."
Aurora looked to the side and saw the look on Odelia's face that was annoyed by her answer. However, everything she said was true. Hans deliberately lets Odelia enter the castle quickly.
"Don't you realize that the guards in this castle have changed a lot?" Aurora asked her friend again.
Aurora looked back at the garden. She let Odelia think for a moment and pay attention to the atmosphere inside the castle.
"What you said is true. The guard of this castle has changed a lot," said Odelia.
"Finally, you can feel and see the change."
"Since when has all this changed?"
Aurora explained to Odelia that all these changes had been made since the number of intruders who managed to enter the castle. The intruder aims to kill her or finish off Igor.
"I think there will be a war soon," Aurora said again as she stared at the forest behind the garden.
"I feel that too."
"Odelia, do you know Diana?"
"Diana? Who is she?"
Aurora again explained about her meeting with Diana this afternoon. At first, she thought that Diana loved Igor and wanted to have her. However, she is wrong and says that Diana has a power that can sense that someone has targeted her.
"Is she one of the descendants of the witch?" muttered Odelia after she heard what Aurora said.
"I don't know. However, Igor said that Diana had that power that was passed down from her ancestor who met Igor a few hundred years ago."
"It seems like I have to investigate it," Odelia continued.
"What if she has the blood of a magician?" Aurora asked Odelia.
Aurora looked back at Odelia, who was silent and did not answer the question posed by her. She waited and gave her friend a chance to think calmly.
"Maybe I'll finish her off," Odelia replied to Aurora's surprise.
"Why?" asked Aurora.
Aurora again waited for Odelia to answer her question. She didn't understand why the woman beside her wanted to finish off Diana, who might have witch blood.
"After I heard the power it possessed... I do have to make sure that no chaos can annihilate everyone around me."
"Is she so dangerous?"
"I'll make sure," answered Odelia. Then, she jumped down and walked casually into the garden.
Aurora shook her head when she saw what Odelia had just done. However, she still felt that she had to be careful with Diana before Odelia could get the information she needed.
"I already thought that Hans was waiting for Odelia to come down from this balcony," Aurora muttered after she saw Hans approaching Odelia.
Aurora went back into her room. She felt it was enough for her to be on the balcony. She went into the bathroom and changed into her nightwear.
When Aurora came out of the bathroom, the room was dark. She took a deep breath and wondered if there had been an intruder who had managed to break through the castle security, which she had previously thought was good.
"Come out!"
