23. Not a Little Girl

Aurora wakes up when she hears the sound of her phone's alarm. She took her phone on top of the nightstand and turned off the alarm. Aurora sat momentarily on the bed and prepared to go to her company. She went straight out of her room after finishing preparations.

"Miss, breakfast is ready," said a maid when she saw the lady who had gone down the stairs.

"Bring the breakfast to the gazebo in the park."

Aurora continued her steps after seeing the maid nodding her head. She sat in the gazebo while looking at the flowers that were blooming.

"If my mother was still around, maybe she was picking those flowers and arranging them in a vase," Aurora muttered while remembering some good memories when she was with her parents.

It wasn't long before a maid arrived with a tray containing a breakfast menu and a glass of orange juice. The waitress arranged everything on the table.

"Miss, is there anything else you want?" asked the maid to the lady.

"Nothing. You can go back to the kitchen and continue your work!"

Aurora took a glass of juice from the table. She began to enjoy the breakfast that her maid provided. Her gaze fell on a bodyguard approaching her, and behind him was someone smiling at her.

"Why did the person come so early in the morning to my house?" muttered Aurora when she saw the person.

"You don't look happy to see me, Aurora?" the person asked, then sat directly across from her.

Aurora gave a signal to her bodyguard to leave. After that, she looked back at the person calmly staring at her.

"It's normal. Why did you come here?" replied Aurora in a flat tone.

"Don't be cold to me! After all, I'm your only sister."

Aurora smiled, and then she continued eating her breakfast. She completely ignored the woman in front of her. She did not deny that the woman was her sister but only a cousin.

She continued to listen to the woman's words that contained her almost choking. Aurora just found it funny with such great confidence from her cousin.

"Never mind, Celine! Stop your words! Do you realize that everything you dream of will never come true?" Aurora said in a sarcastic tone, which made her cousin feel annoyed.

"My dream will come true if you voluntarily hand it to me."

Aurora smiled again and drank the rest of the juice from her glass. She got up and walked away from her cousin without answering Celine's words.

She listened to the screams of Celine, who would never give up on her dreams. However, she didn't care about it and continued walking until she got into the car.

"It's so funny," Aurora muttered, then drove her car out of her home area.

Aurora added the speed of her car after going outside the house area. She went to the company and worked on some things she had to complete.

It had been an hour since he arrived at her company. Aurora sat in her office chair while reading some of the documents she had to check. She had to read so many documents because Odelia had not been able to monitor her for the past few days.

"Come in!" ordered Aurora when someone knocked on the door of her workspace.

She was still focused on the documents in her hand, so she didn't realize that a man was already standing before her. The man continued to look at her while smiling.

"You're so beautiful when you're focused on your work," the man said, sitting opposite Aurora.

Aurora looked at the man, then she asked in a flat tone, "What are you here for?"

"There are still things we need to talk about."

"Do you still want me to listen to your fantasy story? Igor, do you think that I am a little girl?"

"None of this is a fantasy because I was Igor a thousand years ago who still loved you."

Aurora smiled, and she refocused on her documents. She ignored Igor, who had been waiting for her. Even until lunchtime, Igor still faithfully waited for her.

Seeing Igor, who kept waiting and looking at her, made her uncomfortable. However, for some reason, she couldn't drive him away.

"I'm hungry. If you still want to wait for me here, go ahead!" said Aurora as she walked out of her office.

She smiled as she sensed that Igor was following her. Aurora shook her head as she wanted to throw away the feeling of happiness in her head.

'What's wrong with me?' She asked in her heart as she continued to walk out of her office.

"I'll take you somewhere. I'm sure you'll like it," Igor said, taking Aurora's hand.

Aurora looked at her hand, which Igor held until she entered the man's car. She sat quietly and wondered where Igor would take her.

She stood still During the journey and looked at the streets she passed. Likewise, according to her, Igor did not discuss the past, which was only a fantasy work.

"Why did you bring me here?" asked Aurora after looking at the castle before her.

"You just calm down. I guarantee you won't regret it."

Aurora didn't say much anymore. She got out of the car after a man opened the car door. After that, she followed Igor's steps, who entered a room.

She was a little surprised by all the things inside the room. It wasn't long before she saw Igor wearing an apron. The man also looked ready to do something.

"What are you going to do?" asked Aurora as she walked closer to Igor.

"Sit down and wait for me to finish everything!"

Aurora also sat on a chair near the table. She could see all the things that Igor was doing at the moment. It didn't take so long to smell a smell that was so tempting that it made her hungry even bigger.

She felt a different aura from the man. According to her, the man felt warm and soft. Instantly, Aurora stood up in surprise when she saw a flash of shadow.

"What's wrong?" asked Igor when Aurora suddenly stood up.

Aurora looked around to see if the shadow that had just appeared was still there. However, she didn't find the shadow.

"What's wrong?" Igor asked Aurora again, who looked so alert.

"Nothing," Aurora replied as she sat back down.

Aurora was still thinking about the shadow that passed by. For some reason, she often saw a shadow in the past few days. However, after she searched, it turned out that there was no one.

"You're okay?" Igor asked again while placing a plate on the table.

"Igor, do you often see shadows that suddenly appear in front of your eyes?"

"What?" Igor was a little surprised when Aurora asked him that.
