67. Don't Get Angry

Chapter 67

Don't Get Angry

The glass shards hit Igor's body because he was protecting Aurora. They both got out of the car. Aurora saw that there were already four people surrounding Igor and herself.

"You're finally out, Igor Gerald," said a man with a scar on his temple.

"So your goal is me," Igor continued calmly.

Aurora only noticed Igor, who seemed so calm in the face of the enemies surrounding her. She also remembered that Igor was not an ordinary human but a werewolf. In other words, Igor can finish off the enemies in seconds.

According to her, they had all chosen the wrong job by accepting the job of finishing off Igor. She saw the driver, who was lying backward, and finally got nearby.

"Are you okay?" asked Igor to the driver.

"I'm fine."

"Are you still able to face them?" Aurora asked, looking at several men approaching her.

"I'm still able to face them," the driver replied.

Aurora was confident in the ability of every bodyguard Hans had trained, including, of course, Igor. She also looked at the man, who looked impatient to finish off Igor immediately.

She was a little surprised because the enemies surrounding her were drooping over the streets individually. Aurora feels that someone has made them helpless.

"They won't die easily," Igor said with a cold smile.

"What happened to them?" asked Aurora to Igor.

"They just can't move for an hour or two. However, it gives us a chance to get them to talk," Hans replied as he walked closer to Igor and Aurora.

"All this you do?"

"Of course."

Aurora was silent for a moment and glanced at her lover. Now she knew that this was Igor and his two confidants, none other than Hans and Juan.

"What's wrong?" asked Igor, who felt that Aurora was upset with him.

"You planned all this, right?"

"I wasn't the one who made the plan. All of this was Hans and Juan's plan," answered Igor.

"No wonder you look so calm. Don't you feel sorry for your driver who has already sweated before them?"

At a glance, Aurora saw the driver's smile. She sighed because the driver also knew about Hans and Juan's plan. Here, the only one who doesn't know is herself, which annoys her even more.

Aurora shifted when Igor brought her body closer. She was still annoyed with Igor for not telling her the plan they were carrying out, even though she had no right to know all the work her lover did.

"Don't be angry anymore," Igor said softly to Aurora, who was upset with her.

Aurora did not chime in Igor's words. She just stood still and watched the attackers lying limp on the streets. He knew one of them.

"Ben, why can you be with them?" asked Aurora to a man she knew.

"How is that possible?" replied Ben after seeing the woman who recognized his name.

"Hans, take him in the car!" ordered Igor.

Aurora saw Hans nodding. She saw Hans take Ben into a car. She also approached the vehicle because Igor had also gotten into it.

"Who do you know her as?" asked Igor interrogatively at Ben.

"She is a masked hitman. However, what I know is that she is dead," Ben replied while settling down with Aurora, who was outside the car.

Aurora can also listen to all the conversations in the car because the car door is not closed. She didn't expect to see the man she had helped while on a mission. She thought that Ben had already left the underground world or the world of assassins.

"Haven't you stopped being a hitman? Why are you in their group now?" asked Aurora to Ben.

"I was forced to re-enter that vile world because I wanted to find out who had killed you."

Aurora also listened to all of Ben's explanations. She also didn't expect Ben's life to be calm after leaving the dark world. However, the shadow of the hitman continues to chase him and makes his sister killed. She saw Igor outside from inside the car.

"Hans, you take care of him! Investigate everything properly because he knows if the masked hitman is still alive," Igor ordered Hans, and then he invited Aurora into the car that Juan had brought earlier.

"Honey, do you believe everything he says?" asked Igor in a severe tone to his lover.

"I don't know," replied Aurora, who couldn't be sure of everything.

Aurora couldn't judge Ben, who she hadn't seen in a long time. Her instinct tells her not to easily trust a hitman who has yet to see him for a long time. And she also needed to learn the man better.

"What will you do with him?" asked Aurora to Igor.

"I will investigate first. However, if Ben can harm you, there is no way to finish him off."

"I leave everything to you," continued Aurora, who believed in Igor completely.

Aurora finally arrived at the castle. She decided to stay because there was still something for her to think about. Aurora took her mobile phone, which was on top of the nain. Celine had sent a text message, and she read it. Afterward, she replied to the cousin's message that she wanted to see her again if Celine had arrived in York City.

Not long after replying to Celine's message, Stela received a call. She picked it up and listened to Stella.

"Can you take care of it?" asked Aurora to Stela on the other end of the phone.

She listened to Stela's answer again, and it wasn't long before Odelia heard her voice. She listened to her friend's words, who had yet to return to the castle.

"Odelia, there is something I want to ask you. Can you go back to the castle, Igor?" asked Aurora to her friend because only Odelia could help her.

Aurora listened to Odelia's answer but couldn't return to the castle. She was sure Odelia did not want to meet Hans, who still hadn't given up on getting her love.

"This has something to do with a thousand years ago," Aurora told Odelia again.

After saying that, Aurora returned her phone to the nightstand because Odelia immediately disconnected the phone. She was sure that her friend would come to the castle in just five or ten minutes from now.

"This is all I can do."
