22. She Is My Woman
"What do you have the right to say that to me?" asked Toms in an annoyed tone.
"Because she is my woman!"
Aurora frowned when she heard the one-sided statement from that person who was none other than Igor. In her mind, she said that finally, the man appeared after three days of not showing the bridge of his nose.
"Honey, do you still want to stay here and be touched by him?" Igor asked Aurora, whose hand was still held by Toms.
Aurora reflexively withdrew her hand and stood up immediately. She looked at Toms, who seemed annoyed by this incident. However, she didn't care about it at all.
"Aurora, tell me if all of this isn't true?" Toms asked the woman he loved.
"What he said was true. I am his woman."
"How is it possible? You've just known him while we have known each other for a long time."
Aurora shook her head and said, "Do you know, Toms? If I don't like you all this time."
She explained her feelings to the man in front of her. Aurora also said that she felt uneasy when Toms always appeared nearby. She took out all her dislike for Toms.
"You said you loved me, right? However, before you came here, you had already slept with another woman."
Aurora saw Toms's look and was surprised because what she said was true. She knew all that because someone assigned by her provided solid evidence to support the information.
"There is another important thing you want to convey but is just your bullshit."
Now, Aurora shows her discomfort to Toms. From now on, she tried to stay calm while listening to the man talk about his love.
According to her, Toms's love is not faithful. She often saw the man making out with several different women. She is the type of woman who is loyal to her partner.
"We're getting out of here!" said Igor as he took Aurora's hand and led her away from Toms.
"Wait!" shouted Toms, who stopped Igor and Aurora's steps.
"What else, Toms?" asked Aurora.
"You think I'm stupid? I'm sure he's not your man! He is still chasing you, but you don't love him. I know if you still have that Korean man in your heart!"
Aurora smiled when she heard what Toms said about Tae-Gu. Deep in her mind, she said that she already considered Tae-Gu her friend even though they had been in a relationship.
She pulled the collar of Igor's shirt and kissed the man on the lips. Aurora showed that she was indeed Igor Gerald's woman.
Aurora widened her eyes as Igor returned her kiss gently. She also closed her eyes because she felt something different and liked it. However, after coming to her senses, she pushed Igor slowly against his body to stop kissing her like that.
"Let's go! There's nothing more to explain to him!" said Igor, smiling and pulling Aurora's hand.
"I won't give up! You have to be mine!" Toms screamed again as he saw the woman he loved go with another man.
Aurora continued walking and ignored Toms's screams. It crossed her mind that Toms might continue to bother her.
"Where did you know I was here?" Aurora asked Igor after she had parked in the car park.
"I told you not if I would always know where you are. You will always be within my reach."
Aurora immediately let go of Igor's hand. Looking at the man before her, she felt that Igor's aura was different.
She was surprised when Igor returned to hold and pull her hand, and she fell into his arms. She tried to let herself go.
"Listen to me! You are my woman. Either a shell or a thousand years ago."
Aurora was silent when she heard Igor's soft but emphasized words. However, she came to her senses with the sentence a thousand years ago. She also gently pushed Igor's body, which had stretched his arms.
"What did you mean a thousand years ago?" Aurora asked, looking at Igor incomprehensibly.
"You were my lover a thousand years ago," Igor replied, explaining a little about their past.
Aurora listened to all of Igor's explanations, but she still didn't believe them. According to her, all the men's stories were just fabricated to attract her attention.
"Have you finished writing your fantasy story?" asked Aurora, who saw Igor stop talking.
"I know you won't believe me. However, all that is reality, and you are my lover either a thousand years ago or in this life."
Aurora shook her head and said, "You're already insane. You better go to the doctor and cure your illness."
After saying that, Aurora took out her car keys from the bag. Then she opened the car door and got inside. This time, Igor just let her go.
Aurora drove her car away from Igor, increasing the speed of her car after getting out of the restaurant's parking area. On the way, she smiled in disbelief as she recalled Igor's story about her past life.
"Does she think I'm a little girl who still believes in such fantasy stories?" muttered Aurora as she continued to drive her car.
Not long after, she finally arrived at the house. She went straight to the room and asked a waiter to prepare a light menu for dinner. After eating her dinner, she changed her dress and stood on the balcony of her room.
She stared at the dark sky without the moon and stars. For some reason, she couldn't forget all of Igor's stories of past lives. She shook her head again.
"What's wrong with me? Why would I even think of such a fictitious essay?" Aurora muttered, returning to her room.
Aurora took her tablet on the table and sat on the sofa. She checked the incoming email, opened it, and read it slowly. Aurora felt relieved because all her reports were without problems.
She closed her email and put the tablet away on her nightstand. Aurora got up and turned off the lights in the room so only a small lamp was on over her nausea. Aurora walked towards the bed and lay down. She closed her eyes.
"I forgot something," Aurora muttered. She took the medicine and a glass of water on the nightstand and drank it.
Aurora closed her eyes again. Not long after, the influence of her medicine made her fall asleep.
A few moments later, someone managed to pass by Aurora's house guard. That person was currently on Aurora's balcony and walked into her room.
The person walked so slowly that it did not wake Aurora. The person was already beside the bed and staring at Aurora, who was already asleep.
"Finally, I can see you," the person said while staring at Aurora with a sharp gaze.
