63. Premonition
"Why can't I investigate it?" asked Aurora to the person who had just entered her office, who was none other than Igor.
"Because I've investigated it," Igor replied, sitting on a sofa near Aurora's desk.
"Honey, since when did you start investigating it?"
Aurora got up from her work chair and sat on the sofa right next to her lover. She wanted to know when Igor started investigating the man who was currently close to Celine.
"My hunch is what led me to find out about the man who is currently close to your cousin," Igor replied.
Aurora listened to what her lover said. She didn't know why Igor had such a suspicion. At first glance, she looked at Odelia sitting across from her while listening to what Igor explained.
"So, have you gotten all the information about that man?" Aurora asked Igor again.
Aurora sees Igor shaking his head and explains that his people are having trouble gathering information about Celine's lover. However, he would not give up and would continue to investigate.
"The harder it is to get information about a person, the more certain I am that there is something that person is hiding," Igor said as he looked at his lover beside him.
"It seems like we have to be careful with that man," Odelia continued after hearing Igor's explanation.
"What you said is true. We have to be careful about it. However, if the man dares to hurt my cousin, then I will not stay silent," Aurora added.
However, she used to dislike her cousin because Celine was so ambitious to get all her father's assets. However, Celine had significantly changed, and now she would protect her cousin from people who wanted to hurt her.
"Then I'll leave first. Hans, I'm already waiting outside," Igor said to Aurora.
"Why didn't he come in with you?"
"He just wants to keep someone's mood," Igor replied, smiling at Aurora.
Aurora understood the meaning of Igor's answer. She smiled and then saw a warm kiss from her lover. She got up and walked out of the room with her lover.
She escorted Igor into his car. Aurora also told Igor that she asked for Igor's time to accompany her to attend a dinner invitation held by Celine.
"I'll accompany you. Honey, you have to remember always to be wary of the people near you," Igor said to his lover.
"Okay," Aurora replied while smiling at her lover.
She looked at Hans, who was already sitting next to a driver. Aurora asked Hans to take care of Igor. She saw Hans nodding, and then the car that Igor was riding in left the café.
Aurora watched Igor leave until his car was no longer visible to her. Then, she went back into the café. Aurora saw several visitors who began to enjoy the menu that her colleagues had prepared. Then, she walked into her workspace.
Time passed quickly, and Aurora was still inside her workspace. Meanwhile, Odelia helped in front because she could see the café visitors who kept coming.
Aurora took her phone, which was on her desk. She saw the number on her phone screen and immediately picked it up. She listened to what the person on the other end of the phone said, who was none other than Stela.
"Choose the one you can use to make it easier for you to find all the information we need," Aurora said to Stela on the other end of the phone.
She listened to Stela's words again and agreed to everything. Then, she disconnected the phone and put it in her suit pocket. Aurora got up and walked out of her room.
Aurora helps Odelia, and the others serve the café's visitors. She does not distinguish between an owner and an employee of her café. She thinks that this café is his and the five women who have helped her.
"It's finally done," Aurora muttered after Odelia closed her café.
"Today is so tiring, but I enjoy it," continued a woman next to Aurora, and then she tidied up the table nearby.
"Thank you for your cooperation," continued Aurora while smiling at the woman nearby.
Aurora took her phone and contacted Igor because she saw her lover's car parked in front of her café. She smiled when she heard Igor's warm voice.
"I'll take my bag first," said Aurora as she walked to her room.
She disconnected her phone and tidied up her desk. Then, she walked outside the room. She looked at Odelia, who was talking to one of her colleagues.
"Odelia, will you come with me back to the castle?" asked Aurora to the friend in front of her.
"I won't return to the castle with you tonight. I have to work on something with Stela and the others."
"Are you sure?"
Aurora saw Odelia nodding her head. She would not force her friend to come with her. However, she knew that Odelia was avoiding Hans, who still did not give up on getting love from her friend.
"Then I'll leave first. Remember to contact me if you need help," Aurora said again to Odelia and the three women nearby.
Aurora walked out from inside the café after seeing the four women nearby nodding their heads. She immediately got into Igor's car.
"I don't think you're going to pick me up," Aurora said to the lover beside her.
"My work was done so quickly that I decided to pick you up."
Aurora smiled, and the car drove away from the café area. During the trip, Aurora was silent. She felt a little tired of today's work until she finally fell asleep, her head on Igor's shoulders.
"It seems like today is tiring for you," Igor muttered while smiling and gently stroking his lover's head.
Igor also retook his cell phone. He checked the incoming message and then read it. He was silent momentarily while thinking about the information one of his men conveyed.
"Hans, there is a little problem with our plans in Bristol," Igor said, sitting in the front.
"I'll go there after dropping you off at the castle," Hans replied.
"Can you do it yourself? Or you can bring some people you can rely on."
"I'll bring some people who are used to coming with me. You don't have to worry about me, and I'll solve the matter quickly."
Aurora's phone vibrates, waking her up. She takes the mobile phone out of her suit pocket. She sees the number that contacted her and immediately picks it up because the person who contacted her is Celine.
"What's wrong?" asked Aurora to the cousin on the other end of the phone.
Aurora listened to her cousin's answer, asking her to come to Bristol immediately.
"What are you there for? Aren't we going to have dinner together tomorrow?" Aurora asked the cousin again.
She glanced at Igor, who was staring at her while listening to everything Celine said. She was a little surprised by the cousin's explanation.
"Don't joke with me! That's very dangerous, Celine! Stop it!" said Aurora in an irritated tone mixed with concern for her cousin's safety.
