59. Killing Himself
Aurora immediately ran towards Celine, who had just been pushed by a man wearing a black hat. She saw her cousin's arm injured and bleeding. She also saw Odelia and Igor chasing the man who had jumped from the balcony.
"Are you okay?" asked Aurora to Celine.
"He wants to finish me off," Celine replied.
Aurora helped Celine stand up and sit her cousin on the bed. She then asked the butler, who was still in the room, to take out the medicine box.
"Hurry up and give it to me!" ordered Aurora to the butler, who was already holding a medicine box.
Aurora immediately treated the wound on Celine's arm. After finishing, she intends to chase the intruder. However, she undid it because she had already seen Igor and Odelia.
"How? Did you two manage to catch him?" asked Aurora to Igor and Odelia.
"The man killed himself," Igor replied.
"Tighten the guard! I don't want anything like this to happen in my house again!" ordered Aurora as she looked at the butler.
"Okay. I will carry it out," replied the butler, who already knew what he had to do.
Aurora also saw the butler leave Celine's room. Not long after, Odelia also left and was followed by Igor, who asked her for permission to return to her room.
"Aurora, you go back to your room. I'm fine," said Celine.
"Are you sure?"
Aurora saw Celine nodding, and her cousin said that she had calmed down. She also said maybe this was just a warning for her.
"What warning? Do you have enemies?" Aurora asked her cousin again.
"I don't know. There may be people who have been offended by my deeds or my words."
Aurora looked at Celine. She knew that the woman in front of her was selfish and arrogant. Her cousin was willing to do bad things to get her wish. However, one question that came to her mind right now was what had already made her cousin change.
"You rest! Later, we will discuss this, and I will help you solve everything," said Aurora, then she walked out of the room.
Aurora saw a bodyguard, and she spoke to him for a moment. She said several things that the bodyguard had to do.
"Especially tonight and so on, you have to take care of my cousin. I believe in your abilities," Aurora said to the bodyguard in front of her.
"Okay. I will do it," replied the bodyguard.
Aurora left after hearing the answer given by her bodyguard. She went straight to her room and saw Igor sitting on the sofa. She approached her lover and sat down beside him.
"How's it going?" asked Igor to Aurora, who was already beside him.
"My cousin is fine. She only had injuries in her arm, and it wasn't too bad."
"Who do you think is the person behind this attack? And why did that person target your cousin?" Igor asked his lover again.
"I can't be sure who that person is yet. However, I think that all of this has anything to do with it, Thom."
"How can you think like that?"
Aurora also told Igor all the things Celine had said last night. They chatted until the morning because they didn't feel sleepy after the attack on Celine.
"Honey, go back to the castle. I think it's easier for me to protect you," Igor suggested to his lover.
"Okay. I'll go back to your castle. However, it would help if you didn't lock me up in that castle of yours. I still have a lot of things to get done."
Aurora saw Igor nodding, which made her a little relieved. She got up and walked towards the door because someone knocked on her. She saw a servant who was already standing before her.
"The head chef has prepared breakfast, and we have arranged it in the dining room," said the servant when she saw the lady who opened the door.
"Okay. "You tell Odelia and Celine everything that I'm waiting for her in the dining room," Aurora continued to the servant.
"Okay, Miss."
Aurora went back into her room after seeing the servant's departure. She also invited Igor to have breakfast with her friends and cousins. The two of them went out and walked down the stairs to the dining room.
There were no friends or cousins in the dining room. She sat in the chair she usually sat on. Aurora also saw Igor sitting right next to her, and it didn't take long for Odelia and Celine to approach her. The two of them sat in the chair opposite her.
"Celine, how is it? Will you be able to sleep again after that incident?" asked Aurora to her cousin.
"I can't sleep even if I try to close my eyes."
"We have breakfast first, and after that, I have something I want to tell all of you," said Aurora, then took a glass of juice from the table.
Aurora and the others began to enjoy everything that the head chef had prepared at home. After finishing breakfast, she invited everyone to the living room and was about to tell them everything that she would do.
"What do you want to tell all of us?" asked Celine to Aurora in front of her.
"Celine, move to another house and try not to tell me where you live except to me. I think neither your house nor mine is safe for you anymore."
Aurora also said that if her cousin did not have a safe house, then she had one house that was completely unknown to many people who knew her. She advised her cousin because she was worried about her safety.
However, she can only take Celine to Igor's house if there are also many dangers lurking there. She also didn't want Celine to know Igor was a werewolf.
"I'm glad you are worried about my safety after everything I've done to snatch everything from you. There's no need to worry about where I live because I'll be staying at my friend's house, and it's safe there.
"Your friend? Is he the guy you want to introduce me to?"
"Yes. However, that friend of mine hasn't been able to see you these few days because he has a lot of work to do."
Aurora listened to Celine's words about the man who was her cousin's close friend at this time. She was even more curious about the man who had already made her cousin fall in love like this.
She glanced at Odelia, who looked uncomfortable and kept looking at her phone screen. Finally, she continued to look at her while continuing to listen to Celine's words.
"Odelia, is there anything bothering you?" Aurora asked, unable to bear to see her friend uncomfortable like that.
"May I go? I have something to do."
"Go and meet me later at the castle, Igor."
Aurora saw Odelia nodding, and her friend immediately left her house. She sensed something strange with her friend, and for some reason, she thought of following Odelia.
"I'm also leaving. Thank you for caring about me," Celine said to Aurora and left Aurora and her lover.
"Igor, it looks like I have to follow, Odelia," Aurora said to Igor, who was still sitting beside her.
"No need."
"Why?" asked Aurora while looking at Igor curiously.
"Come with me, and you'll know everything."
