26. Did You Forget It

Aurora continued to stare at the wolf in front of her. She closed her eyes and was ready for her death. However, the influence of the drug that the hitman stabbed reacted and made her unconscious.
"Aurora," called Igor, who had turned into a human.
Igor immediately carried Aurora and ran as fast as possible to his castle. He jumped from the bottom onto the balcony of his room and laid Aurora on his bed. It wasn't long before Ethan and Juan came to his room because they heard gunshots echoed by werewolf howls.
"Juan, check on her!" ordered Igor as he took his nightgown and put it on.
"Are you the one who did all this?" asked Juan after he saw Aurora's condition, which was full of wounds.
"If I had done it, maybe by this time, the woman's body would have been torn apart."
"She was exposed to a muscle relaxant poison," said Juan after seeing the effects of the poison.
After saying that, Juan immediately opened the medicine box he had brought earlier. He began to do some things to neutralize the poison in Aurora's body. According to him, the poison did not endanger her life. However, the dangerous ones are the people who want to finish them off.
"I've dealt with it. Maybe Aurora will wake up tomorrow morning," Juan said to Igor.
Igor looked at Aurora without chiming into Juan's words. He felt guilty for changing before him, so he made the woman he loved to run away and enter the forest.
"How much longer do we have to lure that man out of his hiding place?" asked Igor to Juan and Ethan.
"It doesn't take long. I'm sure that person will come out soon," replied someone who had just entered Igor's room.
"Hans, you're back," continued Ethan, who saw him.
"I'll go back right after all my business is done."
Igor only listened to Hans, Juan, and Ethan's conversation. He still felt like he was looking at Aurora, so he sat down beside her. He shrugged himself in his heart because he was too rash to change his form in front of Aurora, who was just an ordinary human.
"We'll discuss everything tomorrow!" ordered Igor to the three men in his room.
The three of them left the room and closed the door tightly. Igor walked to the bathroom and cleaned his body, which was still covered in the blood of the assassins.
This time, the transformation was not perfect, so he could still clearly remember all the things he had done. He stood in front of the mirror and remembered the look on Aurora's face, which was so resigned when her life was on the edge.
"You are stupid, Igor! She wasn't an Aurora a thousand years ago. She is an ordinary human being in this birth," Igor said regretfully.
He returned to the bathroom after cleaning all the blood on his hands and body. He again approached Aurora and sat beside her. Slowly, he laid his body right next to Aurora. Finally, he closed his eyes.
Igor opened his eyes as he felt someone lay on his body. He was surprised to see Aurora already on top of his body, holding a ballpoint pen with a pointed tip.
"Why did you lock me up yesterday afternoon?!" asked Aurora in an interrogative tone.
"Have you forgotten what happened last night?"
"Yesterday?" Aurora asked back in an uncertain tone.
Igor continued to notice Aurora, who relaxed his alert level. He quickly grabbed Aurora's hand and pulled it, then changed his body position so that he was currently the one on top of Aurora's body.
"Have you forgotten what happened last night?" Igor asked Aurora again while looking at her.
Igor continued to look at Aurora, who looked like he was remembering the events that had already happened. He wondered if the effect of the poison weakening muscles could make a person forget about the events that had just happened. However, in his lifetime, he had never gotten such a thing.
"I don't remember it," replied Aurora, who had been trying to remember everything.
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure! All I remember is that you locked me up after I asked about the shadow that always appeared before me. I'm sure you know that don't you?" replied Aurora and ended with a question for Igor.
Slowly, Igor let go of Aurora because he heard someone knock on his room's door. He got off the bed and covered Aurora's body with a blanket. He walked towards the door and opened it.
"Igor, there is something you have to see," said the man in front of her, and she was none other than Hans.
"Wait for me downstairs!" said Igor, and then he closed the door of his room.
He walked towards the dressing room and picked up a suit of shirts. Igor got ready, and after that, he left the room without saying anything to Aurora, who was looking at him curiously.
Igor went down the stairs, saw Ethan and Hans, and stopped before those already waiting for him.
"Take me there!" ordered Igor to the two men before him.
He saw Hans nodding and pointing his way. Igor followed Hans' steps while listening to all the information Hans and Ethan said.
"Where is Juan now?" asked Igor.
"He had to go to the hospital. Some things need to be solved by him," Ethan replied as he continued walking.
Not long after, Igor arrived in front of a room whose door was tightly closed. He saw Hans open the door, and he went into the room.
There was a very pungent smell and a moan of pain from a man. Where the man also begged to be killed instead of having to live with endless suffering.
"Master, forgive me... just finish me off...," the man said pleadingly after seeing Igor enter the room.
"Does a traitor like you deserve my forgiveness?" asked Igor in a cold tone.
A man who served as an executioner again tortured the traitor. He also did not let the traitor die because it was all punishment for betraying the master.
"Tell me where that person is?" asked Ethan to the traitor.
"I can't say it. If I say it, then my son and wife will be killed by them."
Igor smiled coldly. In the past, he often received reasons like this from traitors. For him, hearing their corruption was enough.
"Then I won't let you die. I'm going to torture you for the rest of your life!" said Igor with a grin.
Igor sat in a chair and watched the misery of the man who had dared betray him. Although he has been good to all his men so far, he also often helps his men who are in financial difficulties.
Screams of pain sounded so pleasant. Igor felt no pity for the traitors. He enjoyed everything while closing his eyes.
"I have a surefire way to get him to talk," said someone who had just entered the room and surprised Igor.
