35. My One Wish

"Are you afraid?" asked Aurora while grinning.

She stepped up and approached the woman in front of her. Aurora looked at her sharply and pressed down on the person she considered an enemy.

"I don't care if you finish me off today. However, the one I asked for... Protect someone who is so important to me."

Aurora stared intently at the woman. She brought her face closer to the woman's face. She wanted to finish her off because she had dared to threaten her just now.

"My life is not long. I only have one wish, which is the safety of the people I consider important," the woman said to Aurora again.

Aurora was silent and listened to the woman's words while staring into her eyes. She felt that what the woman said was true, and that was all she wanted. She then pulled her body and sat back on the sofa.

"Who do you want to protect? Is that the person you were talking about?" asked Aurora as she quickly put the needle back into her secret place.

"Yes. That person's name, Claudia."

"Claudia?"

Aurora saw the woman nodding, and then she told her about Claudia. Aurora listened to everything the woman said, as it was important to her if he accepted the mission this time.

"Don't you know that I'm a hitman. Then why are you asking me to protect her?" Aurora asked the woman in front of her again.

"Only you can help me and protect her."

"Explain more completely! And who is the one who wants to harm, Claudia?"

Aurora also needed to know about the enemy she would face so that she could make a plan. She again listened to the woman in front of her explain.

"Jesi," called the man who had brought Aurora to meet the woman.

"What's wrong?" asked the woman.

"It's time for you to leave."

"But I haven't finished talking to her yet."

Aurora looked at the two of them. She felt that the man was worried about Jesi. She got up and walked out of the house.

"Jesi, you can send me all the information I need. Now you just do what the man wants," Aurora said as she continued to walk away from the house.

Aurora padded while enjoying everything she passed. For her, getting out of the back garden of the café was not so difficult. So she is now inside the café.

She saw that several visitors had already enjoyed the café's menu. Aurora also saw that a woman had replaced the man's duty that had led her to meet Jesi.

"Looks like I'm just going home," she muttered after reading a text message that came into her phone.

Aurora was already in her car, so she ran straight to her house. A short while later, she arrived at the house and saw someone who seemed to be waiting for her.

"What's wrong with you here?" Aurora asked the person sitting on the sofa.

"I'm waiting for you. What else would I do if I were here," the person replied casually.

"Aren't you tired, Celine?" Aurora asked her cousin again.

Aurora saw Celine shaking her head. The woman said she would still try to take what should be hers and would not let go.

Listening to Celine's words made Aurora shake her head. She walked away from her cousin and ignored Celine, who kept calling her name.

"Aurora, I'm going to stay here!" shouted Celine.

"Whatever!" replied Aurora as she continued to walk towards her room.

Aurora didn't care about Celine's presence because she felt that if her cousin was present, it wouldn't affect her. Aurora came into her room, and she threw her body on the bed.

Aurora closed her eyes and felt that today was so tiring. Even though today she did not do anything at all. Finally, she fell asleep until sunset.

"Aurora...."

Summon someone who awakens Aurora. She was a little surprised that someone was already sleeping beside her. Aurora smiled because that person was none other than Igor.

"Since when have you been here?" asked Aurora softly.

"Just now."

Aurora did not chime in with Igor anymore. She put her body into the arms of the man she loved. She smelled the smell of Igor's body, which was so distinctive and not easy for her to forget.

"The smell of your body has never changed from before," said Aurora while sniffing Igor's chest.

"Then why couldn't you recognize me when we first met."

"I'm sorry," Aurora replied, changing her position.

Now Aurora sat on Igor's stomach. She looked at Igor's completely unchanged body, even though a thousand years had passed. Suddenly, there were some memories of the two of them a thousand years ago, and it was so intimate.

"What are you thinking?" asked Igor in a seductive tone.

"Nothing."

Aurora was surprised as Igor quickly changed the position of her body. So, at that moment, Igor was above his body and looked at her gently and warmly.

"Do you remember what we did in the past?"

"You mean?" Aurora asked while pretending to forget about it.

Aurora widened her eyes as Igor instantly kissed her on the lips. However, she slowly closed her eyes. She enjoyed Igor's gentle kiss and then returned the kiss.

Slowly, Igor's kiss became more aggressive, making Aurora snort. A knock on the door annoys Igor, and he finally stops everything he is doing.

Aurora smiled. She also got off the bed after Igor changed his body position. She walked towards the door of her room and opened it slightly.

"What's wrong?" asked Aurora to a maid before her.

"Miss, dinner is ready. Would you like to have dinner in the dining room with Miss Celine or in the room?" the waiter replied and ended with a question.

"Just take it to my room."

"Okay."

Aurora closed the door of her room again, and she sighed when she saw Igor no longer. The man had already left when she was talking to her maid.

"He's so fast and I can't feel his departure," Aurora muttered, then she walked over to the nightstand to grab her phone.

She saw a message coming in. The message came from Jesi, who sent some information about Claudia. When she was about to read all the information, someone knocked on the door of her room. She put the phone back on the nightstand, walked closer to the door, and opened it.

"Help me... Hurry up and come with me! There's no more time!"

"Wait! What happened?!" asked Aurora.
