19. Still Unclear
"Hurry up and say! What happened to your friend?" Juan asked Aurora again.
"Let me meet her. I have to make sure that what Odelia is going through now is the same as it was a few years ago."
Aurora couldn't tell everything to Juan and the people nearby at the moment. She had to make sure everything wouldn't go wrong again and result in losses either to her or Odelia.
She looked at the two men in front of her, and they looked at each other. At the same time, she is communicating whether to allow her to meet Odelia or not.
"How? Don't you want to know how I can heal her?" Aurora asked Juan again.
She continued to heat the man, who looked curious about what Odelia was going through.
"I know! You can take her to see her," Igor said as he looked at Juan's eyes, which were full of passion, to dispel all his curiosity about Odelia.
Aurora felt that she had finally succeeded in making the two men in front of her fulfill her wishes. She also intends to get off the bed.
"Where are you going?" asked Igor.
"Meet Odelia."
"Are you able to walk there?"
"Of course. Never underestimate my strength!" said Aurora while trying to stand up.
However, the words and reality are not the same. Even though Aurora tried her best, she still couldn't stand firmly. The pain in both thighs is getting crazier.
"What the masked intruder said earlier is true," said Igor, and then he held Aurora in his arms.
"Annoying! Why do you remember his words!" said Aurora, annoyed, but she didn't struggle to be lowered.
This time, Aurora does not resist or tell Igor to take her down because she wants to meet Odelia. She continued to look and remember the streets she passed. Every corner is not spared from it.
Aurora could quickly recall the street she had just passed. Aurora slowly stared at Igor's face. Apparently, the man was also paying attention to her.
"Have you memorized it well?" asked Igor with a smile.
"Why do you always know what's on my mind? Who are you, actually?" asked Aurora to Igor.
"I told you that you were my lover, and I knew you very well both then and now."
Aurora turned her face away. She felt that what Igor said was a lie, and she didn't know Igor at all. She was sure that the man was flirting with her.
She saw Juan, who stopped right in front of a room whose door was tightly closed. The man took a key from his pants pocket.
"You're crazy! Did you lock it from the outside? What if something happens to her?" Aurora asked Juan a few questions.
"I'm doing all this for her safety," Juan replied as he opened the door to his room.
Aurora thought that Igor would drop her off, but the man continued to carry her and went into the room. She was a little surprised because the room looked neat and clean inside, and she smelled a scent that soothes the heart and mind. She also saw Odelia lying on the bed.
"Bring me down, Igor!" ordered Aurora, which made Igor stunned.
Aurora waited for Igor to drop her off, but the man was silent and pensive instead. She reflexively pinched Igor's nose as if the man had woken up from his daydream.
"What's wrong with you? Why daydream? Hurry up and get me down!" Aurora asked Igor again.
Aurora shook her head. She really didn't understand the man. She stopped to think about Igor, and she sat right next to Odelia.
She held Odelia's hand while staring at her pale face. Aurora also touched her friend's forehead and pressed her slightly. Slowly, a red mark was seen, and that, too, happened a few years ago.
"I didn't know that poison had such a big effect on you. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you," said Aurora, who felt guilty for her friend.
Aurora remembered all of Odelia's words about whether something like this would happen again. She removed the bracelet from her left tag, and then she pressed a button.
She grimaced as a needle pierced her fingertips. After that, she stuck her bleeding finger right above the red mark on her friend's forehead. Aurora also closed her eyes to calm her mind.
"What is she? Am I wrong if she's performing a ritual?" asked Juan to Igor, who was beside him.
"I don't know. However, if all of this harms Aurora, then we have to stop it."
Five minutes passed, and Aurora was still doing the same. She began to feel something that attracted energy in her body. She is sure that Odelia will recover soon.
"Stop, Aurora! Let go of your hands!" ordered Odelia, who had already woken up.
"No, I can't pull my fingers," said Aurora, who had tried to pull her hand as hard as she could.
Aurora tried her best to pull her hand. However, it was like there was a force that did not want to let go of it. Slowly, her energy began to decrease. She also felt weak and tired.
"Igor! Could you hurry up and pull her out? Keep her away from me!" shouted Odelia. She also couldn't do anything to let go of Aurora's finger, which was attached to her forehead.
Igor quickly pulled out Aurora's unconscious hand. Finally, Igor managed to let go of Aurora's finger and hold her away from Odelia.
Igor looked at Odelia, who was sitting on the bed and crossing her legs. The woman closed her eyes while meditating.
"Take her away! Accompany her tonight, and don't leave her. Tomorrow, I will answer all the questions that are in your mind!" ordered Odelia to Igor.
Igor went out of Juan's room. He believed Odelia's words. At a glance, he felt the same aura as a thousand years ago. So, it raises many questions in his mind.
He continued walking towards his room. Igor laid Aurora's body on the bed. He saw that the woman's face was so pale. It was like all her energy was sucked up by something powerful.
His phone rang. Igor picked up his phone. He walked away from Aurora for a moment to talk to the person who contacted him. He listened to the words of the person on the phone while looking at Aurora.
"You keep an eye on everyone! I don't want to hear about your failure this time. Remember not to let Aurora know your work!" said Igor to the person on the other end of the phone. After that, he disconnected the phone.
"What should I not know, Igor Gerald?"
