31. The Truth
"What's wrong? Why shouldn't I know?" asked Aurora after she heard Igor forbid Odelia to speak to her.
"If you want to know everything. I'll tell you after the meal, Ethan."
Aurora looked at Igor, who left after saying that to her. She stood up with Odelia's help. For some reason, Odelia also obeyed Igor's words.
"Everything will be clear. I hope you believe everything Igor says," Odelia said with a smile.
"Odelia, did you know before, Igor?"
"We should attend the funeral first, okay."
Aurora didn't ask much more and walked with Odelia to Ethan's diet, which was still in the castle area. She stood there as she watched a crate containing Ethan begin to be inserted into the ground.
After the funeral, everyone returned to work as usual, although the atmosphere of mourning was still felt. Aurora sat on the couch, waiting for Igor and Odelia to tell the truth.
"Aurora, come with me! Igor has been waiting for you," Juan said to Aurora.
Aurora nodded, got up, and walked after Juan. The road she traveled was just as slightly confusing because she had never passed through it.
Not long before, she saw Juan, who stopped in front of a large, tightly closed door. The man opened the door and invited her to enter first.
"Are you going to come in too?" asked Aurora to Juan.
"No. This time, it's just you and Igor."
"Why?"
"You'll find out later. Now come in, and don't make Igor wait any longer."
Aurora didn't ask any more questions and walked into the room. Slowly, the door closed again, and she was sure Juan had closed it. She looked ahead, and Igor was already sitting in a chair.
"Sit down!" ordered Igor in a flat tone.
"Why do we have to talk in a room like this?"
"Because this room is safer than the other rooms in my castle."
Aurora also sat on an empty chair, but only one was in the room. For some reason, he felt a very different aura. Strangely, she didn't feel afraid of it.
"All of this started from a thousand years ago...."
"Don't tell me you're going to tell me about your fantasies," Aurora interrupted before Igor continued his sentence.
"I already expected that you wouldn't believe it."
Aurora saw Igor get up and walk closer to her. She didn't know what the man was going to do to her. The man's aura felt cold and slightly pressed, and his eyes looked sharp.
"What do you want to do?" asked Aurora, increasing her vigilance.
"Don't move!" ordered Igor, and he pressed a button on the back of the chair.
"Why are you tying me up? Release! If you want to talk, not like this!" said Aurora while trying to untie the bonds in her body.
"Just listen to what she has to say," someone said as she walked closer to Aurora.
"Odelia."
"Believe me and also him," Odelia continued.
Aurora finally obeyed Odelia's words. She listened to Igor, who had begun telling his love story a thousand years ago. She still felt that if Igor thought she was a stupid woman, she would believe all that.
"I told you not if she wouldn't believe me," Igor said to Odelia after seeing the look on Aurora's face.
"Then let me do it," Odelia continued.
"What do you want to do, Odelia? Why are you her followers? Actually, who are you?" Aurora asked, feeling that she didn't recognize her friend.
"I'm still your friend either then or now," Odelia replied, and she began to close her eyes.
Aurora felt that something was strange about Odelia, who started casting something. Slowly, the air in the room changed. The lights in the room suddenly went out. After the lights went out, suddenly, her breath felt short. Slowly, her consciousness disappeared, and she entered another world.
"Where am I?" asked Aurora after suddenly being in a forest.
Not long before, she saw a pair of lovers running past her. She was surprised because she saw Igor and a woman with the same face.
She continued to follow those being chased by some people so quickly. Aurora could see what was happening before her, but they couldn't all see it.
"No! Let them go!" shouted Aurora, who saw the couple who had begun to be cornered.
Aurora tried to help them both but couldn't. Finally, her body was blown away, and now she is in a castle.
Aurora heard the sound of a man's scream of pain. She saw a woman whose face looked like her running towards a particular place. She finally followed the woman.
She entered a room where she saw a man who looked like Igor. Her heart felt sad when she saw that the man's whole body was full of wounds and his body was tied with iron chains.
It wasn't long before he also saw a woman who a man had just blown away. She was surprised because the woman was very similar to her friend Odelia.
"Let her go!" Aurora said while trying to hit the man who was currently tying the woman to a pillar.
No matter how hard she tried to stop everything that was happening in front of her, she still couldn't hit all of them because she was just an invisible shadow.
Aurora screamed with all her might when she saw the woman's body bound to a pillar burning due to the sunlight. Her body felt so hot that he couldn't hold it anymore. Aurora thought that she would also really melt into dust. She screamed, feeling the same pain that Aurora had thought in the past.
"Aurora, are you okay?" asked Igor as he held onto Aurora's convulsed body.
Aurora kept screaming and felt the heat so strongly that the skin turned red like a burn.
"Odelia, what happened to her?" asked Igor, who couldn't bear to see Aurora's suffering.
"I don't know, and this could be the effect of me showing Aurora the past.
Odelia also unleashed her power again while casting a spell. She tried to suppress Aurora's pain.
A white light began to envelop Aurora's body. However, all of that still can't get rid of the pain felt by Aurora. So she continued to scream in pain.
"Igor ...," Aurora shouted without realizing it.
