11. How Much Is My Life Worth

"I want to know what he knows about my parents," Aurora muttered as she continued to spur her motorcycle.

Her motorbike was going very fast through the streets of York City. Aurora was startled by a woman who fell in front of her, and she almost hit her. Luckily, Aurora quickly dodged the woman, but she fell.

She grimaced in pain. However, it didn't take long for her to stand up and take off her helmet. Aurora walked closer to the unconscious woman on the paved road.

"Are you okay?" Aurora asked after she was near the woman and saw her open her eyes.

"Of course I'm fine."

The woman said then sprayed liquid towards Aurora's face. So Aurora fell and was unconscious. It wasn't that long before two men approached.

"Let's bring her quickly! You take care of the motorbike so that no one knows about this incident!" the woman ordered to the two men who were nearby.

A man lifted Aurora's body. He walked close to a car along with the woman who managed to knock Aurora out. Meanwhile, one other man was carrying an Aurora motorbike that could still be started by him.

Aurora slowly opened her eyes. Her vision was still blurry, but it slowly returned to normal, and she looked around. She also realized that her legs and hands were tied.

"Where is this?" muttered Aurora as she tried to untie the rope that tied her hands.

"Aurora Baylee, I thought you were a smart woman. It turns out that I was wrong," asked someone who had just entered the room.

Aurora looked at the person, who was a man. The man grinned after being nearby. She continued to look at the unfriendly-looking man.

"Who are you? What makes you think of doing all this to me?" asked Aurora in a cold tone.

The man chuckled, and then he said, "You certainly don't know me. However, I know you well and want to finish you off."

Aurora remained calm. She let the man continue to talk and explain all his plans because she didn't recognize him. However, she thought maybe the man was also a hitman.

"Who told you? How much has the person paid for my life?" Aurora asked the man a question.

"Do you want to know what the price of your life is? I don't think you will be able to pay me to replace your death with your life."

Aurora smiled at the man's words. She was even more convinced that behind this hitman was a person who had so much money that they would not feel lost with the amount spent just to finish it.

"I wonder if you can finish me? Without fighting manly," said Aurora, intending to provoke the man's anger.

"You underestimated me, apparently."

"I have never underestimated my enemies at all! You heard that?!"

Every word she said triggered the anger of the man in front of her. So the man untied all the ropes that bound Aurora's hands and feet. Aurora knew the man's intention to finish her off in a sporty manner as a murderer.

Aurora got up and relaxed her hands and feet. She looked at the man in front of her and smiled at her. However, the man immediately attacked her because she thought that Aurora had indeed underestimated his abilities.

"I'm going to kill you!" the man shouted as he continued to attack Aurora.

All the man's words did not stoke Aurora. She remained calm, dodging and occasionally parrying off every attack the artificial. She just wanted to know the extent to which the man could make her serious.

Everything she did made the man even furrier. The man finally accelerated his attack and added to his strength, which caused Aurora to hit backward.

"Apparently, you have started to make progress," said Aurora while clapping her hands.

While smiling, she gave a sign that she challenged the man. Aurora did all of that deliberately to make her opponent lose control and make a mistake.

"Damn woman!" said the man.

"I know that."

Aurora again gave the man a chance to attack her first. Once she felt confident enough, she started to counterattack and did not give her opponent a chance to attack.

"Your time is up," said Aurora after she saw his opponent's weak point.

Without saying much more, Aurora attacked the man repeatedly, and sure enough, she didn't give her opponent a chance to retaliate. Finally, the man staggered backwards and fell. She didn't care if her opponent had already fallen, and she continued to attack him relentlessly.

The man grimaced in pain when Aurora managed to break his arms and legs. However, all this did not dampen Aurora's enthusiasm to continue attacking him. The man screamed again in pain until people outside the room could hear his voice.

"Do you also want to feel what he feels?!" asked Aurora coldly.

The aura killing her was so great that it felt oppressive to those who intended to attack her. Again, there was a groan of pain from the man, which made them all simultaneously attack Aurora.

They had absolutely no idea who the opponent they were facing at the moment was. Without fear, Aurora attacked them one by one. She managed to take a firearm from one of her opponents.

"You guys do deserve to die," Aurora said, and then she finished them off one by one.

Now, there was no one attacking her anymore. She stared at the man, who was shocked to see everything that was happening before his eyes. Until he lost the pain he was experiencing at this time.

Aurora approached the folding chair and pulled her until she was near the man. She sat on the chair and looked at her opponent, who was so confident that he could finish her off quickly.

"How? Is this worth what that person has already paid?" asked Aurora to the man.

The man didn't chime in with Aurora because he still didn't believe what he saw just now. Aurora stepped on the man's hand and made the man scream in pain.

"How? What else do you want me to do? Do you want me to let you go to enjoy the rest of your life?"

"I'd rather die!"

"If that's what you want, then I'll grant it," said Aurora as she pointed her weapon at the man's head.

"Before he died. I can make sure you die more at my hands!" continued someone behind Aurora. The person pointed a knife at Aurora's neck.
