13. A Betrayal

"I told you not if I was the one who would finish her off!" said a man in a pressing tone.
"Finally, you came out, too," Aurora continued after she heard the voice of the man who had been waiting for her for a long time.
Aurora opened her eyes, stood up, and looked at the man who had stopped the woman from finishing her off. She smiled because everything she thought was true about someone betraying her was true.
"Aurora, oh Aurora ... I'm fed up with your attitude," the man said again.
"Since when did you know about who I am, Jhon?"
Jhon chuckled. He said that he had known since Angela's death. He deliberately remained silent to wait for the right time to dismantle it and then finish off Aurora.
"Maybe I should thank Angela for letting me know who you are," Jhon said again.
"Do you have anything to do with her death?" asked Aurora, who felt that.
"Of course. How could that man catch Angela so easily," answered John.
Aurora clenched her fists, but she didn't think that all of this was Jhon's plan. She couldn't stand everything the man said anymore. Without further ado, she immediately attacked Jhon. Her attack was so fast that it made Jhon feel cornered.
"Are you sure you want to finish me off? How about it?" Jhon asked after he gave a sign to his men.
Not long after, Aurora saw two men holding Odelia hostage with a firearm pointed at her head.
"You...."
"If you fight again, then I'll finish her off just like Angela," Jhon interrupted Aurora's words.
Aurora finally stopped resisting. Two men immediately tied her legs and hands to a chair. She stared intently at Jhon, who looked happy about the situation.
"Why are you doing all this? Did I ever offend you? Or is there someone else behind you right now? How much did he give you?" Aurora asked Jhon a lot of questions.
She heard again and saw Jhon chuckling. After that, Jhon said that he did not need money at all. He just wanted Aurora to die. John also said that he would do the same to Odelia.
"What do you mean?"
"I want you to see Odelia's death, but before that, you have to see some of my men enjoy your friend's smooth body."
"You bastard, Jhon!" shouted Aurora.
Aurora saw a man injecting something into Odelia's body. It wasn't long before two men began to treat their friend inappropriately.
"Let her go! If you touch it, I'll finish you off!" Aurora shouted again.
Neither the shouts nor the threats made by her stopped what they were doing. Aurora continued to try to untie the rope that tied her hand until her wrist was injured.
"Odelia! Wake up!" Aurora again shouted to call her friend, who could no longer think.
The poison injected into Odelia's body made the woman unable to use her powers. She could only feel every disgusting touch, and she could still hear Aurora screaming her name.
Aurora screamed in pain when John stabbed her right thigh. The man grinned and felt happy with what was happening now. It had been a long time since he wanted to end things quickly. The hatred in his heart disappeared when he saw the suffering before her death.
"Aurora, I'm sorry...," Odelia said softly. However, Aurora can still hear it.
"No, Odelia... I should be the one to apologize to you," said Aurora.
Jhon smiled when he heard that, and then he said, "Do you want to know why I have such a grudge against you, Aurora?"
After that, Jhon stabbed Aurora's left thigh again. However, this time, Aurora did not scream in pain. In her mind, there was only anger because she saw two men touching Odelia's body.
"You're going to die at my hands, Jhon!" said Aurora.
Jhon laughed again and said, "Keep threatening me! I'm not afraid at all. You're just like your mother and father, who are so weak."
"What do you mean? Do you also have anything to do with the death of my parents?" Aurora asked in surprise because John mentioned her parents.
"You want to know? Alright, I'll tell you that."
However, before Jhon could proceed to explain everything, his phone rang. He picked up his phone and listened to what the person was saying. Instantly, he fell silent, and his face showed a hint of fear.
"Okay. I'll do it now," said Jhon, then hung up the phone.
Jhon kept his phone in his suit pocket. After that, he looked back at Aurora. He smiled and gave a sign to the woman who had intended to finish off Aurora before her arrival.
"Torture her first! I want to hear her screams of pain!" Jhon ordered the woman.
"With pleasure."
The woman took the knife that Jhon had just used to stab Aurora in the thigh. She smiled and told Aurora that it had been a long since she wanted to finish off the black masked who had always been her rival.
"You won't get what you want!" said Aurora.
"You underestimate me. We'll see where you're going to cover your mouth," the woman continued, then she pressed Jhon's stab wound.
Jhon enjoys all of that. He sits on a chair and leans his body back into it. He wants what is in front of him—two women who have underestimated their abilities.
A bullet redeems the head of the woman who was torturing Aurora. The bullet caused the woman's death. It wasn't long before bullets began to rain down on the men who were Jhon's men. Finally, all of John's men died.
Reflexively, John stood up and took his weapon. He was shocked to see that all his men in the room were dead. He also thought enemies might kill his men outside, whom he had not yet seen.
"Who are you?!" shouted Jhon furiously as he pointed his weapon in all directions.
"I thought you would stop after getting the gift from me," a man who walked into the room replied.
"I thought you would stop after getting my gift," a man who walked into the room said. 
"You were the one who sent me that rotten gift! Do you think I'm scared? I will finish you all off here. However, I will finish off Aurora before you!" said Jhon as he walked closer to Aurora and pointed the gun at her head.
