18. A Warning
Igor's voice, which was so pressing, made Aurora wake up. She looked around to make sure what was going on. However, she didn't see a single person other than herself and Igor.
"What's wrong?" asked Aurora to Igor, who was standing with a very oppressive aura.
"Stay where you are!" ordered Igor as he blocked Aurora with his hand so that she wouldn't get off the bed.
Aurora saw Igor's bleeding palm. So she returned to her vigilance while looking around. It wasn't that long before someone emerged from her hiding place.
She saw someone dressed in all black, and that person was wearing a mask. However, she could guess if the person behind the mask was a man.
"Who are you?!" asked Igor in an interrogative tone.
"You don't need to know who I am. However, you must take good care of your woman."
Aurora listened to the masked man's words while trying to remember whether she had ever met him. A few seconds passed, but she still couldn't be sure who the person behind the mask was.
"Why does he have to take care of me? I can take care of myself!" said Olivia in order to find something she wanted to know.
"You are indeed a hitman. So, it must be considered. However, you are still a woman who still has many weaknesses."
The words that came out of the man's mouth made Aurora furious. She felt that the masked man was underestimating her abilities. She was about to stand up, but Igor stopped her.
"This time, I'm just warning the two of you. Maybe at the next meeting, I won't hesitate anymore!" The masked man spoke again. After that, he quickly left Igor's room through the balcony.
"Wait!" shouted Igor to stop the intruder.
"No need to chase!" ordered Aurora to Igor, who was about to teach the masked man.
"You stay here! I'll chase him down and bring him back here!"
"There is no need to work because he is too far away," continued Aurora while holding Igor's shirt sleeve.
She saw that blood was still coming out of the wound on Igor's palm. Aurora was sure that the injury was because it protected her from the masked man's attack. Slowly, she looked up, and their eyes collided with each other.
Aurora turned her face away, and she said, "Let me heal your wounds."
"Alright. I'll obey you for now."
Aurora unleashes Igor's shirt sleeve. She saw the man walking towards the cupboard and took out the medicine box. After that, it came back closer to her.
"Why are you forbidding me to chase after him? Don't you believe in my abilities?" asked Igor as he kept the medicine box near Aurora and sat down beside her.
Aurora did not answer the question posed by Igor. She opened the medicine box and took out medicine, bandages, and liquid to clean the wound.
She cleaned the blood around the knife scratch wound that looked a little deep. Aurora wondered if Igor needed Juan to treat his wounds.
"I heard that there was an intruder," said Ethan, who went straight into Igor's room without permission.
"He's gone! What did the bodyguards you trained do? Why are intruders now so easy to enter my castle!" said Igor.
"I'm sorry. I should be more assertive and go back to the way I was a few years ago.
"Ethan, can you call out, Juan? It seems that Igor's wound is a little deep," interrupted Aurora.
"Deep wounds. Let me see it first," Ethan replied while approaching Igor.
Aurora saw Ethan smiling after seeing the wound on Igor's palm. That made her a little annoyed because Ethan seemed to underestimate the injuries suffered by Igor.
"Looks like you should punish him too!" said Aurora as she continued to clean Igor's wounds.
"Hurry up, Juan!" continued Igor.
"No need to call me. I'm here!" interrupted Juan, who was already near Igor's room.
Aurora let go of her hand and gave Juan time to look at it. She looked at Ethan, who didn't seem worried about Igor's injury.
"This is a small wound. Why are you so spoiled," said Juan after seeing the wound suffered by Igor.
"What?!" Aurora said in a slightly surprised tone.
"Yes, this is indeed a minor wound. At least in a few days, the wound will disappear."
Juan's explanation made Aurora even more incomprehensible. According to her, such a wound may need to be stitched up, and it will take a few weeks to heal. She shook her head and didn't understand with the two men who were always by Igor's side.
"You're laughing? Why are you so indecisive with them? If I were you, I'd have sent them to Africa!" said Aurora after she saw Igor laughing.
Instantly, the three men chuckled when they heard her words. That made Aurora even more upset, and finally, she decided to keep her mouth shut.
"I'm happy if you worry about me. That means you like me," said Igor, who had stopped laughing.
"You think I like you? Do not be too confident! I don't like stalker men like you at all!"
Aurora stared intently at Ethan and Juan, who laughed again at her. She was really annoyed by their attitude, which seemed to disrespect Igor as the master of this castle.
"Juan, do what she wants!" ordered Igor, who had already seen the annoyance on Aurora's face.
"Alright. I will obey this hostess."
Aurora frowned as she looked at Juan, who had begun to treat Igor's wounds. She turned her face away as Juan stitched the wound in Igor's palm.
For some reason, she felt that she couldn't bear to see all of that. Even though, so far, she has often seen like that. She even once stitched her wounds while carrying out a mission.
"Don't expose your wound to water these days," Juan said after finishing treating Igor's wounds.
"I will find out who the intruder is who easily enters and exits this castle," continued Ethan while going out from inside the room.
"Juan, explain to me how things are really going, Odelia?" asked Aurora, who remembered her friend.
Aurora saw Juan glancing at Igor while asking the man for permission. She continued to stare at Juan and pressed her a little to get the man to tell the truth about Odelia's condition.
"Just tell her!" said Igor.
"I'll explain it to you," Juan continued while looking at Aurora.
Aurora listened carefully to Juan's explanations about Odelia's state. She was a little surprised because the villain's poison was so heavy. Juan didn't understand some things about Odelia's attitude.
"Do you know some things I don't understand about the situation, Odelia?" asked Juan to Aurora. He thought the woman in front of him knew about it.
"Did that poison make Odelia go back to the way she used to be?" muttered Aurora.
"Tell him what happened to her?" Juan asked again because his curiosity was growing.
