25. Torn Apart
Aurora tried to release Igor's grip on her hand. However, it couldn't be because the man was getting stronger and pulling her until she was in the middle of the labyrinth.
"Wait, Igor! What do you want to do?" asked Aurora after seeing the man untie his shirt buttons individually.
"I'll show you so that you believe everything."
Aurora still didn't understand Igor's words. However, in her mind, it occurred to her that the man would do something indecent to her.
"You think I'm a weak woman? Don't expect you to do that disgusting thing to me!" said Aurora while attacking Igor.
She kept attacking the man and didn't give him a chance to retaliate, even though she knew that Igor did not intend to retaliate. The man remained calm in the face of each attack.
"Do you think I'm that bad a guy?" asked Igor as he dodged every attack Aurora threw.
"So what do you want to do by removing your shirt?"
Aurora doesn't stop attacking Igor even though Igor tries to explain everything. Finally, she staggered backwards because she got a counterattack from Igor.
"That's enough, Aurora!" said Igor.
"Not yet! I won't let a rotten man touch my body!"
Aurora looked at the look in Igor's eyes, who were furious at her words. For some reason, the aura felt nearby suddenly changed. She saw Igor staring at the moon, which was currently in full shape, which meant it was a full moon.
She was surprised as Igor howled, slowly changing the man's body. Reflexively, she walked backwards, and without thinking, she ran away from Igor. Right now, she couldn't believe it because all she had in mind was to run as fast as she could.
"What happened? There was no way he was a werewolf. Werewolves are just fantasy stories," Aurora muttered as she continued to run and find a way out.
After seeing all of that, she became like a stupid woman. She forgets that she has a weapon that can make the wild beast that attacked her weak and unconscious.
Aurora managed to escape the maze but went into the forest instead. She stopped running after realizing that she was in her current position.
"Forest. I didn't know that there was a forest behind this maze," said Aurora while catching her breath.
She tried calming herself down because she had no longer heard the wolf's howl. She also thought about what happened to Igor just now. Aurora still doesn't believe in what she thinks is that there are no werewolves in this world.
Aurora heard someone talking. She instantly hid behind a large tree. She saw that there were three men, and they were holding long-barreled weapons.
"It looks like they're not men, Igor. Are they hunters?" muttered Aurora.
"You're right, they're hunters," someone replied as he pointed a gun at Aurora's head.
Aurora was a little surprised but didn't realize someone was behind her. She slowly moved to obey the man's orders.
"Who is she? Why is a woman in the middle of the forest at night like this?" asked a man to his colleague who managed to get a woman out of her hiding place.
"I don't know. However, I think we should also finish the woman off," replied the man behind Aurora, pushing Aurora with the tip of his weapon.
Aurora held her back. She felt a needle piercing her. She looked at the man who had just pushed her and noticed the man's weapon.
While she was thinking, two men attacked her, so she dodged their attacks and occasionally parried them. Aurora finally managed to counterattack and made a man stagger backwards and then fall.
"You can't handle it with a woman alone!" said the man who had pushed Aurora earlier, and then he attacked her.
Aurora felt that something was wrong with her body, and she was hit backwards. She was about to attack the man, but suddenly, her body felt weak. She finally realized that she was currently exposed to muscle relaxant poison.
"I didn't think that a hitman like you would use poison to fight a woman like me," Aurora said to the man in front of her.
The four men chuckled when they heard her words. They don't care about all of that at all. One of them said they did not embarrass him because the most important thing was the death of his target.
"Just finish her off quickly! I want to complete our mission this time quickly," said another man.
"I still want to have fun with her," said the man who had given Aurora poison. After that, he attacked again.
Aurora tried to resist the man's attack even though it was impossible to strike back. She thought maybe tonight was her last night.
She could not withstand the man's every attack, and finally, she drooped limply on the ground. The man still beat her and occasionally kicked her.
Vaguely, Aurora heard the wolf's howl and alerted all the men. The four of them held weapons and prepared to kill the approaching beasts.
"The voice is getting closer! Be careful!" said a man while increasing his vigilance.
Aurora heard the wolf's howl again. She could also still clearly hear the conversation of the four men before her. She tried to change her body position to sit and lean against a large tree behind her.
"I can still see the deaths of all of you," said Aurora in a weak tone but still audible to the four men.
"Shut up!" a man shouted, then he pointed his weapon at Aurora and intended to finish her off.
However, something quickly attacked the man, who screamed in pain. All eyes were on the man whom the wolves were currently tearing apart.
"Werewolf... No way!" said a man, surprised to see what was happening before him.
"Stupid! It is not a fantasy world! Finish it off quickly!" a man said, then fired his weapon.
The three assassins peppered the wolf with bullets. However, not a single bullet penetrated the wolf. Not long after, one of the men smiled when the bullet he fired hit the wolf's body.
"Hurry up and finish the werewolf off!" the man shouted as he continued to fire his bullets at the howling wolves again.
Aurora saw the incident before her eyes, and her body could no longer move. She saw one by one, the hitmen being torn apart by wolves. Now she saw the wolf approaching her.
There was a smell of human blood coming from the wolf's mouth that was currently in front of her face. She saw the dense killing aura of the wolf.
"Dad, Mom, forgive me...," said Aurora when she saw the wolf open her mouth, wanting to tear it apart.
