17. Don't Touch Me

Igor threw Aurora's body on the bed. He forgot that, at this time, Aurora's wound was open and bleeding again. He also didn't care about Aurora, who was moaning and in pain.

"What do you want to do?" asked Aurora when she saw Igor take off the suit she was wearing.

"You've already made me lose my temper! Do you think you can do anything to me?" said Igor while bringing his body closer to Aurora's body.

"Don't do this to me! If you do, then I won't let you go!"

Aurora threatens Igor not to do anything bad to her. She was determined to finish off Igor if she dared to touch her body.

"Am I that bad guy in your eyes?" Igor asked as he pulled his body and sat next to Aurora.

Igor looked at the woman, who looked frightened by what he had just done. He smiled because he didn't expect a hitman to look so sweet and weak before him. It reminded him of the memories of a thousand years ago.

"You sit quietly!" Igor said again after he woke up from his daydream.

He walked towards a closet. He took out a medicine box and walked back towards Aurora. He sat on the bed while opening the medicine box.

"Can I open it? I just want to change the bandage," said Igor, who asked Aurora for permission to unwrap the woman's skirt.

Igor looked at Aurora's small nod. He also opened Aurora's chest and saw the wounds on both of his thighs. Igor removed the bandages one by one and smeared the wounds. After that, he bandaged it again with a new bandage.

"Do you still not believe me?" asked Igor, who realized that Aurora had been looking at him since earlier.

"Igor, tell me the truth! What has happened to Odelia?" continued Aurora with a question.

"You just take a break first. If you're calm, maybe I'll ask Juan to explain everything to you."

"When is that?"

"Later tonight."

"Why not now?"

"Juan, can't now! He has to deal with that friend of yours!"

After saying that, Igor put all the medicines in the medicine box, put the box back into the closet, and walked out of the room to avoid any questions that Aurora might ask him.

However, the reason for leaving is not only to avoid all of that. Rather, the Aurora needle prick just now made him feel uncomfortable. So he decides to go to a secret room and talk about it all with Juan and Ethan.

"I thought you were in the room with her," said Ethan, who was already in the secret room.

"She stabbed me with a needle. You can call Juan and tell him to come here!" replied Igor, and then he sat down in his chair.

He closed his eyes for a moment. He needs to calm himself down and feel as if his body is not okay. He thought maybe the tip of the needle had been dipped in poison. It wasn't long before Juan entered the room. He immediately checked Igor's condition.

"Who has poisoned you?" asked Juan after he had checked Igor's condition.

"Ethan, take the bottle in the locker!" ordered Igor to Ethan without answering Juan's question.

"It turns out that the woman cannot be underestimated," continued Juan, who could guess if the one who poisoned Igor was Aurora.

"You really shouldn't take it for granted. Especially with friends," said Igor.

Igor also received the bottle given by Ethan. He drank a sip of the liquid that was in the bottle. After that, he closed his eyes for a moment to enjoy each process of the medicine to neutralize the poison in his body.

"I really can't examine the woman further," Juan told Ethan.

"Who do you mean?" asked Ethan,

"Odelia. Until this moment, I still think about it."

"This is the first time I've heard you have difficulty handling a case," said Ethan.

"What makes you feel that something is strange about her?" asked Igor as he opened his eyes.

Igor listened to Juan explain some of the strangeness that happened to him while near Odelia. He began to wonder if Odelia was the woman who had always been by Aurora's side.

He held his forehead as he tried to remember. For him, this was the first time he felt a headache when trying to remember someone from his past.

"What's wrong? Is the poison still reacting?" asked Juan, who looked at Igor as if he was in pain.

"This is not related to poison. Rather, it is me who is trying to remember someone from the past."

Juan and Ethan only asked a little more if Igor talked about the past. They never forced or asked Igor to tell him about his past.

"Juan, can you continue to investigate it? I'm sure there's a secret to all this," Igor asked Juan.

"What if something could harm all of us?"

"You just calm down. I won't let you two die so easily."

Ethan chuckled and then said, "Since when are you going to make it easy for both of us to die?"

"You're right, Ethan. You will definitely not let us die in old age. However, I'm not afraid of dying if it's to protect you and Igor," continued Juan.

Igor looked at the two men in front of him. He recalled how he met Juan and Ethan and how he had taken care of them since childhood.

He even told the two of them who he was and transformed into a werewolf in front of them. At first, they were scared, but they remained faithful to his side.

"It's time for me to check on her," Juan said after he saw the watch on his wrist.

"Juan, remember what I taught you before," Igor said to Juan.

Igor saw Juan nodding, and the man left the room. Now, Ethan was in front of him. She also had a task for the man.

"Tighten guards near the forest. I'm sure there will be some assassins who intend to break through my castle!" ordered Igor to Ethan.

"Okay," Ethan replied, and then he left the room to carry out Igor's task.

Igor looked at Ethan's departure. He leaned his body back on the chair. He again tried to remember the woman who had always been by Aurora's side and that woman who had helped him a thousand years ago.

"Is Odelia the same woman as the woman a thousand years ago?" muttered Igor, and he walked out of his secret room.

He walked towards his room to check on Aurora's state. He went into the room and saw Aurora, who was asleep. Igor approached him, and then he sat on the bed right next to Aurora.

Igor stretched out his hand. He gently brushed out a few strands of hair that covered Aurora's face. His face instantly turned cold as a knife shot towards him. Fortunately, he managed to catch the knife.

"Get out! Otherwise, I guarantee you will beg death from me!"
