Bait Letty

Silas - POV



Emily walked alongside Mac, who looked for Yuri. “She left the dungeons because she was upset with me, Mac.” I linked to Mac, held a sad gleam.



“Silas, what are you planning? I told you the truth.” Letty cried.



“Mac put Letty to sleep.” I linked as Mac injects a wolfbane, and Letty slowly slips into sleep.



“Emily, you are psychic. Can you check through Letty’s memories and let me know?” Emily started her work quickly. We both wait for her to come out of her magic.





Emily explained the same narrative that Letty had confessed, but Emily saw Jake with some other women who looked very familiar, but Emily couldn’t see the image of the women. Emily also informed me it had blocked Letty’s memories, just like Jake blocked Elena’s memories.



“So what do you plan now, Alpha?” Mac asked.



“First, we need to put in an act to make sure it looks like Letty is dead. Next, I will take over the Green forest pack to find more clues about Maya’s death, or we could find more secrets about Letty. Emily put a disguise spell on Letty, and she would be a spy on Jake because she knows all about Jake's hideout, and once she confirms the locations of Jake and Henchmen, we will kill Letty for good.” I linked Yuri and Mac to my plan.



We walked out of the dungeon. I have to speak with Emily and research unsealing Elena’s power. Also, I wonder if the magic Emily sense could be true.



Walking to the Mansion with Emily as Mac went to prepare for the execution act and prepare a corpse similar to Letty.



Yuri walked to the Infirmary with haste. “Yuri, what is up?”





“Elena was with me, and when you linked me up about the Plan, I woke up to see Elena was not in my home, but I could pick her sent coming from the infirmary,” Yuri explained as I walked alongside and we stepped to Elena’s face held a gleam of sadness and lost of hope.



“Elena, are you alright? Why are you here?” Elena jumped upon hearing my voice.



“I felt a little dizzy, so I went to check with a doctor. He mentioned I am just stressed.” Elena said quickly and glared at the doctor, who understood her signal.



“Yes, Alpha Ms. Hayes felt a little under the weather.” Dr. Rudolf added.



“Alpha, the Pack Elders are waiting for you.” I hate the guard show announcing at the wrong time. Yuri helped Elena to get to the Mansion and Emily examined Elena for a few more seconds before she followed them both. I hate to work instead of taking care of my mate.



The Pack elder and Freya and Terrance are waiting for my decision. “She is a traitor and plans to kill my mate, and I have no option for Letty. Also, I am taking over the Green forest to set an example. No fucking one messes with me.”



“You can’t do this to us, Silas. I never knew you could treat us like this.”



“I never thought in the wildest dream your daughter would go to such lengths, Freya.”



“I won’t give my Pack to a man who is a rogue and not Alpha.”



“How about an Alpha title match, Terrance's? I would love to shred you in pieces.”



“Terrance, please, I can’t lose you. I have lost my daughters. Give him the pack. He is after a pathetic monster.” Freya snapped.



“Tell me, Terrance, will you give up the Pack in peace, or should I kill you?”



“Take the pack, bastard. I curse you that you never get love from your mate.” Terrance growled, making my blood boil, but damn, I had to blood thirst in control, not tear off his tongue. The soldiers took Freya and Terrance out of my mansion.



“Pack elders, how did you select a Luna who stabbed and killed our Pack members?”



“We swear to you, Alpha, we were not aware of Letty being a vicious woman. Given that he is Maya’s sister, we thought it would be an ideal fit,” Emma added.



“What about you, Henry? Why are you sitting with your mouth shut? You leave no chance to say ill about Elena and spread rumors about her.” Henry Flinched at my words.



“I see no use in the Pack of Elders, and I will make sure the Pack learns the truth about the irrational decision that led to our pack members’ deaths.”



“Alpha, please give us one last chance to rectify our mistake. We will make sure the Pack members blame you for this mishap, but will clear the air and confess the truth. Please don’t disband us.” Emma pleaded.



“Last chance Emma.” She nods and leaves with the rest of the members. I sighed as I looked up at the ceiling.



“Go to our mate and speak. I feel she is hiding something from us.”



“Ray, you know she won’t let her secret out. I have to speak with Dr.Rudolf about this.”



“Fine, I have to call Dr. Rudolf. He said he would come after an hour. I want to stay next to our mate,” Ray growled impatiently. I walked to Yuri’s home and saw Elena and Yuri cooking and laughing. It was an excellent sight to see Elena smile a little.





“Alpha, we have cooked some red meat,” Yuri smiled. Elena gave me a small smile. Mac joined us to eat with us. The dinner talk seems more normal than grieving thanks to Elena, who speaks about gossip and some funny scenes, which even put Mac in normal air.



“Our mate has a calming effect on us and others.” I can sense that whenever I am around Elena, and I am not only the effect, I see Mac and Yuri live examples of Elena's calm effect.



After dinner, Elena wanted to go back to the hotel suite, and Yuri was beside her, guarding her against Jake. I can’t leave the pack until the act is staged and Jake takes the bait.



“Alpha, you called for me.” Dr. Rudolf asked.



“I need to know Elena is in a state of health. Is it stress or something else?” I asked. I could see Dr. Rudolf’s eyes held a flicker of nervousness.



“It’s just stress, Alpha.” Dr. Rudolf said.



“You are lying, Dr. Rudolf. I can confirm what the state of Elena’s health is.” Emily said, walking into my cabin.
