Jake - POV



“You look surprised. I thought you could see through me.” Janice smiled.



“I thought the other woman Theo sent was his mate, but I guess he was testing my loyalty,” I said calmly, though I hate being treated like shit.



“You look upset,” Janice added.



“Does it matter what we feel? It’s clear you treat us like slaves.” Kevin hissed.



“Tone it down. I am here to take you, Blood Pack.” Janice's voice was laced with annoyance.



“Why now? Theo never wanted us to step into his pack,” Shawn asked.



Janice explained that the shrine of the seal came to light when Elena was near the Blood Pack. Theo had invited Silas and Elena to his Pack to help Elena find the shrine that would break her out of the seal. Once Elena gets her wolf, I would have to steal Elena’s power, which is the Key. Once Elena's power is my possession, it would be easy to kill Silas, who is called the lock and also the protector of the Moon Goddess's power. Theo and his Beta, Luke, will get into paradise to steal the Moon goddess’s power and give us half to destroy Paradise, and Theo will take over Wolf's land and follow other shifters.



“This plan sounds good, Jake. Once we get the power of the moon goddess, we can destroy the council of justice in Paradise, we four can rule back just like the old days,” Roger said with a smirk.



“What if Theo doesn’t share the power and kills us by taking our remaining power?” I asked.



“How pessimistic you are, Jake. If you don’t trust Theo, I will tell him, and we have no deal, so you can go back to the Hellhole.” Janice said calmly but held a sharp edge to her voice.



“So you want me to steal Elena’s power and kill Silas with Elena’s magic, which will be mixed with mine?” Janice nodded her head.



“Do we have a deal or not?” Janice asked.



“What are you thinking about, Jake? Accept the offer. We can't all go back to the Hellfire prison,” Shawn said.



“We are in,” Janice smirked in delight at hearing my answer.

We all looked around at the sudden sound. Shawn, Kevin, and Roger walked out to check where the sound came from. Before I went to inspect, I glanced at Janice who was seated on the chair like a Queen. I hate this bitch. Once I get the power, I will make sure Theo and Janice are dead because of treating us to lower life when we are the actual source of energy and their fucking existence. I saw a female figure running away, and I chased her down. She couldn’t outrun my speed. I got on to her and held her by the nape.



“Eavesdropping on us Bitch.”



“Asshole, let go of me. How the hell are you getting stronger?” She hissed as I hauled her



“Who is this bitch? Is she a spy sent by Silas?” Shawn asked as he bound her to the chair.



"This woman is Silas' spy, I can pick up the scent of Silas' Pack coming from her.” Kevin hissed.



“Speak up, women; what the fuck are you doing here, or will you not like what comes next?” Her eyes held a hateful glare as she

stared at me. She kept her mouth shut as she looked at Janice. Recognition flickered in her gaze.



“Do you know this woman?” I looked at Janice, who stared at the women and slowly smirked.



“Oh, you know this woman too, Jake,” Janice spoke as she chanted a spell and puffed the magic particles toward Letty, the magic dispelling the disguise around her and it revealed the woman is Letty.



“How did you escape the death penalty?” I hissed.



“Shocked to see me, you fucking asshole.” Letty spat.



“Oh, Letty, I thought you were dead, but I am glad you are alive. I can help you.” Janice spoke.



“Shut up; I am not gone, Cross Silas. He has given me a chance, and I will prove my worth.” Janice chuckled at Letty’s words.



“What so funny bitch,” Letty hissed.



“You believe Silas will spare your life?” Janice asked.



“Enough, we should kill her; she is a useless tool after all,” Kevin said.



“Don’t forget, this bitch thought she could kill with a stupid potion and failed miserably,” Shawn smirked.



“I will kill her,” I said.



“She is coming with us to blood Pack Jake,” Janice added.



“Why?” I asked



“None of your fucking business,” Janice hissed. My crew was not happy about Letty being alive.

Elena - POV



Fuck.. Fuck… Fuck



“What should we do?” I asked Emily in a whisper.



“Don’t worry, I have to send a message through the magic carrier,” Emily whispered. “We should distance ourselves from here, Ms.

Hayes. If we get caught, they can attack us.”



“I got a signal from Theo that Elena’s seal was broken. We can now steal her powers, Jake.” Janice said. My heart beat faster, though Emily had her magic healing hand on me to calm me down.



“Are we going to kill Silas today?” Jake asked, and hearing his words, a terror set in my body.



“Yes, we are close to blood moon day, and we can easily break the barrier.” Janice added, “First, find Elena.”



“No need; she is already here,” Jake said. I felt a goosebump break on my skin. In a blink, Jake came in front of me.



“Ahhh………….”



“Stop yelling, Elena, you will break my eardrums,” Jake hissed.



“Ms. Hayes, what a surprise,” Janice said with a smile.



“Bitch, why did you backstab me?” I asked as Emily stepped forward, shielding me from Janice and Jake, who looked at me like

prey. I don’t know how to shift and fight this bastard, and Emily stopped their attacks through her magic attacks on Jake.



Janice’s canines and claws her sharp claws were out. Fuck Christ, she is not human but a she-wolf. Janice leaped an attack on me. I froze, startled at the sight.



I can’t believe the fight is real and not a film scene. The Black Wolf leaped over me and pinned Janice down in a blink. Janice groaned in pain as Silas Wolf slashed Janice. A cold knife pressed against my throat, and a vast frame choked me. “Silas, let go of my mate, or I will kill Elena.” Silas’s wolf snapped at me. I try to push Theo out of my Frame, but no use. Randy and Blake come into sight, hauling Mac’s unconscious Frame.



“Why don’t you kill his mate and him and get over with,” Blake said. Silas’s eyes glared at him as Silas’s wolf still held Janice in his clutches, and Emily stopped the Dark Angel crew. Silas Shift back



“Let her go.” Silas hissed at Theo.



“Hand me, Janice. unharmed. Don’t dare you smart with me if you don’t want Elena’s throat open.” Theo threatens. I felt helpless as I saw Silas forced to listen to Theo and stand down and hand Janice to him. Emily had to stop her attack, as Theo didn’t let go of her.



“Jake, a strip of Elena’s power,” Theo ordered. Silas growled before the attack. A sharp rose on my shoulder blade, and I saw a knife plunged into my shoulder blade.



“Stay back, Silas, or she dies. I can also steal Elena’s powers from her corpse,” Theo said with a menacing smile.



“Jake, don’t follow Theo. He is using you.” I pleaded. His face flickered with emotion. I felt a wave of energy shake the surface beneath us, and I looked at the power source.



“Silas” His aura was stronger. Theo’s grip loosened on my neck, and his eyes held terror for seconds before using magic to thwart Silas, but his speed was fast, like a vampire. Silas had my Frame, and in a light, blinding us. I opened my eyes to find the night sky and the chilly wind brushing my skin. I looked at a hand on my frame. It was Silas who was unconscious, along with Emily. Mac and I see the other two figures comatose. It’s Janice and Jake.



I looked around. We were in the silver canine pack. Yuri and the pack guards rushed towards it. “What happened?” Yuri said, looking at us.



“Heal…. Heal. Silas.” I choked.



“Guards, take Janice and Jake to Dungeons and Inform Infirmary to send the doctors quickly,” Yuri ordered.

Silas is unconscious for over a day, and Theo has waged war on our Pack because of Janice being in our imprisonment. Yuri and Mac are trying their best to fight and defend the Pack. Emily and I were next to Silas. Emily’s healing powers weaken from fighting the Dark angels back. The doctors said Silas had lost consciousness when using his full strength to get me and others into the Pack safely.

“Emily, can you help me meet my wolf?” I asked in desperation.



“I can’t help here. The wolf meets its master with his/her strengths, Elena,” Emily said in a sad voice. I sighed in frustration.



“Silas, please wake up. Your people need you.” I whispered as I held his hand. A surge of magic followed through my veins as they came back to life out of nowhere. Silas blinked as he looked at me.



“Silas, thank god you are okay,” I whispered through tears. I embraced him, and relief spread through me.



“You are alright, Elena; it’s a relief,” Silas whispered. “Yuri and Mac?” I pulled from the embrace as Silas looked alarmed. “War,” Silas said as he got out of bed.



“Silas, you can stop the war by handing Janice back,” I said.



“Elena, I won’t hand Janice over to Theo. He shouldn’t have hurt you. He brought this on himself. I won’t tolerate even killing all the Pack to protect you. I will.” Silas stormed out and shifted into wolf form towards the Pack territory.



“I wish I could be of any help rather than be a burden,” I whispered.



“Ms. Hayes. Please don’t look discouraged. You will learn how to shift soon.” Emily said. “It must be overwhelming for you to witness violence.” I didn’t answer Emily because it scared me. Who would out of the blue witness a wolf killing another? It was hard to wrap my head around such concepts and violence. Learning I am not human, but a wolf still seems this all incident is just an illusion rather than reality.



“Emily, can you tell me about Silas? I know he is Alpha and Wolf, but nothing about him.” I asked. Walking back to the Mansion with guards following me for my security.



“It’s not my place to speak about his past. I suggest you ask him, Ms. Hayes,” Emily added.



“Call me Elena”. Emily nodded her head.



“You’re right; I will ask Silas.” I gave her a small smile.



“I will tell you a few things to put your mind to rest, Elena. You still have doubts about Alpha, I see.” I paused before I entered my chamber. Emily walked inside the room along with me.



“I have heard Alpha Silas is a protective man for his Pack and his mate. He will protect it with every power he holds. People also call Alpha Silas merciless, because if you betray or threaten Alpha Silas, he will make sure sleep rests in peace. Silas doesn’t even spare women who are traitors. I have heard Alpha Silas was loyal to his first mate after her demise. He has not been physically active, unlike the other Fuck boys Alpha. I have learned you have been through too much, but I ask you to give some time to this relationship, as Alpha Silas has a turbulent history, too.” Emily said.



“Elena, I assume you hold a stronger power. I will help you in every way possible.” Emily added before she stepped out of the room. I stood staring through my window in the distance, wondering what was going on at the Pack border.
