The Revenge of the Past crimes
Elena - POV
"Elena, toy with our prey. I can't let this asshole die so easily," Celeste added. I agreed with her, and the fight was brutal as we took a few blows to weaken our opponent, Rover, who thought he had the upper hand.
As he was going to land his claw on my throat to end me, I took an opening and struck him so hard that he collapsed to the ground in no time. Rover shook his head as he got up from the blow and felt heat in his eyes as he leaped again to get at me.
I used a wolf punch, hitting him in the gut and using my claws to pull his guts out. I heard the gasps in the crowd as I stood, defeating every participant for the alpha title: There were fifty.
My leg gave out as I shifted back to human form, coated with blood and flesh on my skin. The stench made me sick. Yuri rushed to me, covering my naked frame and helping me get home.
I puked my guts out and cleaned myself and the wound, which still took some time to heal as Emily applied ointments to my wounds. I moaned in pain as the salve had a burning sensation.
"Just a few minutes, and you will be fine," Emily whispered.
"I am not worried about this bruise, Mom…. I am worried about my mate.." I trailed off, seeing Emily blink at me for seconds, and I didn't know how to understand the reason for the tears pricking her eyes.
"You called me Mom…." Emily said with a radiant smile. I looked at her, embarrassed at calling mom without even asking if she was okay.
"Elena, it's okay for you to call me mom." She said so, and I nodded as she hugged me, feeling her lovely warmth. As we pulled from the embrace, her blue eyes stared at me, reminding me of Silas, and as soon as I won the Alpha title, I asked Emily not to put on disguise anymore; she is free to walk around as if Emma were a prison and Henry and Son were dead.
"Emily, did you find anything on Silas?" I asked. Emily's sad gleam told me she couldn't. A wave of sadness washed over me.
"You and I will go back to the shrine again and see if we can find anything," I said, and Emily nodded.
After Emily left the room, I got dressed and strolled to the dungeons to question Emma about why she attacked Emily and how Henry and Emma found her giving birth to Silas. I stalked down the hallway to see Drake with his suitcase.
"Elena, I think I will take my leave. I have overstayed my welcome." Drake said. I gawked at him for a few seconds as distressed lines on his forehead concerned me.
"Please don't say that you helped the pack and me and have been supportive. You are family to me, Drake__" I trailed off, surprised by my own words, as I never quickly got acquainted with anyone, and calling anyone a family was never the case. Drake's eyes gleamed with the flicker of emotions as I used the word "family."
"You meant it?" Drake asked in a whisper. I nodded my head because I thought it was surprising. I can sense Drake has feelings for me, but he is trying to move on to find his woman.
"It's good to know I can trust a few," he added. I sensed sadness.
"Drake, you are my best friend, and I will be there to help you."
"I know, Elena; I wish you the best of luck finding Silas. I feel he is alive." I looked at him, stunned. "I wanted to tell you soon. When you were fighting the Rover Wolf, I could see his energy. As Rover claws next to your throat, his power surfaced for a few seconds when he thought you were in danger."
"Wait, why didn't I pick up on Silas' energy?"
"Because Elena, Dragon can sense power stronger than a wolf can."
"So my Silas is alive, then?"
"I am not sure about that, Elena, but I feel Silas's wolf is protective of you, and Silas and his wolf can't see you being in danger. I will get going. There is a crisis I have to tend to. Drake said with a smile, and I embraced him as he kissed my forehead.
Yuri scowled at Drake as he left, and we both strolled toward Dungeons, my head spinning with Drake's information. I looked at Emma and the other two, Eugene and Paul. I suspected they would have to lend a hand, but first, I needed to speak with Emma.
"Why have you trapped us here? Henry was just speaking in the pack's interest," Emma hissed.
"Liar, I know Henry wanted to take me out. So Henry wanted to make his son an alpha and make me, his whore." Emma's eyes widened with shock at my revelation, and Yuri and Mac were astounded as well. Emily entered without her disguise. I hear three gasps escape from the prisoner as they look at the shock.
"No more lying traitors, bitch." Emily hissed.
“You… are alive….” Emma questioned.
"Surprise to me, Emma. You were my best friend."
"You bitch! Because of you, I couldn't be the Luna and have Marc's child be the Alpha. You still bore his son, even though I poisoned your fetus. I was close to seducing Marc, but Marc only cared for Emily. I was frustrated, but Henry met a woman called Janice who came looking for Emily and the child she bore and told us she would pay us to kill Emily, but in return, we promised to hand over the child to her, and Henry would get to be the Alpha of the Silver Canine Pack as she would take out Marc. I was okay. That asshole, Marc, only cared for you and ignored me. I was okay with Marc being killed. Henry killed Marc with poison that couldn't be detected in his system," Emma said with a satisfied smile.
"Did you work alone?"
"No, we had Eugene and Paul on the team as well. I instructed them to kill the child, but they failed. They abandoned the child in the forest. I tried to find the child to finish him, but I don't know where he vanished from in the forest. I thought he must have died, but he came to Alpha's title to win the Pack, and we couldn't do anything." Emma said.
"Why did you break the deal with Janice?" I asked.
"That bitch vanished somewhere and left us hanging, so we carried on with our work."
Emma woke from the trance as I let go of the magic that forced others to confess the truth. Emily's books, which she brought from the witch coven, guided me in learning the first she-wolf powers.
"Did you record everything?" Yuri nodded.
"I should kill you, bitch," Emily hissed as the shifted half-wolf transformation, tears and anger mixed. "I thought you were my friend, but you turned into a monster who ruined others for power," Emily growled.
"I want them dead, Elena. I can't stand this," Emily begged me.
"Happily, mother, but I won't let them die easily. I will make them pay for their wrongdoing." I whispered, wiping her tears of pain and linking Yuri to take Emily out of her. Mac stood next to me with the tools that Silas used. I never believed in violence until I met people and shifters who were monsters behind their sweet faces. I learned that sometimes we need to use violence to put this monster to rest so others can leave in peace and not be shattered by this psycho on the loose.
"You can't hurt a fly, Elena. Who are you kidding?" Emma hissed, and Eugène and Paul bowed their heads because they knew how they would perish.
"Emma, you are a fool. She won the Alpha title by killing fifty, including Henry's son, who wanted to be Alpha." Mac smirked at Emma as her face paled as she met my eyes where Celeste peered with anger.
"Let the game be, shall we?"
"No, forgive us," Emma begged.
"Too late for that. I killed Henry quickly, but you all won't die easily, as you have committed hideous crimes." I hissed. Taking the pipe wrench. I started the torture, and hearing them moan in pain helped me feel at ease because she had put Silas and his family in so much pain.
After wiping my hands on a towel to clean the blood off me, I have not killed them yet, as I still plan to torture them till they die from wounds. Yuri must have broadcast the news of what happened to Alpha, Marc, and Luna Emily, and their son Silas is pure Alpha and not rogue, and the Pack members stood outside the dungeons with fury, not at me but at the prisoners held inside.
"Alpha, we heard what the elders of the Pack did to the Alpha. They are traitors' hands over to revenge for our lost alphas and for hurting our Luna. We beg you." The crowd chorused. I could see the Pack's love and compassion for their Alphas and Luna. I linked up with Mac, and he took the prisoners outside. The crowd thanked me. She-wolves of the pack hit Emma left and right, and men struck Eugène and Paul.
I see Emily's eyes water as she notices everything from a distance. I could sense her relief as the criminal paid for their price.

The next night, Emily and I strolled to the Blood Pack to investigate. We learned that the pack elders of the blood pack who begged Silas to be their Alpha were dead when Silas went inside the hellfire gate.
Emily opened the sorcery book that Abi had given to Emily, and she chanted to unlock the hellfire gate or try to get the shrine back in the establishment, but nothing worked. Only dejection washed over me as the chilly night wind slapped my skin, as if mocking me for clinging to the foolish hope that Silas was still alive.
"I am sorry, Elena," Emily said with tears as I stared at the dust, a shrine at the point.
That was when Drake's words struck me. Silas Wolf came to help me when he saw me in danger. What if I stage to be hurt and sense his wolf this time and somehow Emily can trace back to energy and open the portal?
