The past Chaos

Elena - POV

Silas had left with Mac to the Blood pack to speak with their elder and what happened, and he was not the one to kill Theo. Silas went to the Pack to find Letty and returned to our Pack.

I didn't get a moment to speak with Silas, and I didn't know how to use the mind link with our mate as Silas did about what I heard from Henry and Emily. I had to travel back to Minnesota Studio as Cindy had asked me to come to decide on the few scenes to keep or cut them off. Cindy wouldn't have called me about this minor issue, but she had been trying to reach Janice and couldn't get hold of her. How can she, that bitch, cause problems?

"Driving alone," Emily asked as I hopped in the car.

"Yuri is busy managing Pack. Celeste is with me, so I can protect myself." With a smile, I said. I needed time to process so much information I heard in one day. Not only this, but soon I met my wolf, Celeste. I have been hearing the voices of other people's thoughts in my head. It's seriously too much to digest.

"Do you mind if I tag along with you?" Emily proposed as I peered into her eyes. I felt she had something to speak to me. I nodded. Emily hopped in the car as I drove to the studio.

"Something is on your mind?" Emily asked.

"Yeah," I whispered.

"Is it related to me?" I didn't meet her stare, but her question startled me.

"Elena, she is not our enemy. I think Emily knows of my power." Celeste spoke. I held the wheel firm as it startled me. Abruptly, voices popped up one after the other.

"I don't know what you are speaking of," I answered Emily, who gave me a smile at my answer.

"Not a good liar. But a talented actress," Emily mumbled.

"Why don't you cut to the chase? I know you wanted to speak with me." Emily sighed.

"Can we pullover, because it will take time to explain the history, or you can first get your work done and speak later," Emily said. I pullover the car to the deserted road as my eyes peered back at Emily.

"Speak; I am all ears."

"You heard my thoughts?" Emily asked, straight to the point. Her eyes studied my silence, and I didn't answer. Though Celeste said she was no harm, I can't be sure. "I know you did, Elena. The way you are staring at me with distrust, it's clear."

"I don't trust anyone. You know about this." I sighed, averting my gaze from her.

"I assume you know my true identity, that I am not a witch." I met her gaze, and she smiled at my reaction. "You will tell my son about my identity soon. Uh…" Emily sighed as she rubbed the bridge of her head.

"I would. After all, Silas has helped me a lot," I said.

"Hmmm…. good to hear the right answer." I looked at her, puzzled.

"Are you willing to hear the truth, Elena? It's also about your mother." I nodded without thinking. The call kept on ringing. I check the caller ID to see Cindy. I put my phone on silent mode to speak with Emily.

"I think you should get the work done first," Emily said.

"Not when you leave me in suspense. I can't concentrate even if I try to finish the work first."

"Okay, I will tell you. I was the Luna of the silver canine Pack and the Alpha, my mate Lloyd___."

"Wait, Yuri told me Silas was a rogue wolf as Silver Canine Pack Alpha Lloyd had no heir," I asked.

"I couldn't convince because I was a late shifter, and when I found my wolf, I could convince, but no one knew about my pregnancy, not even my mate."

"What?" I whispered in shock.

"I was traveling back to Pack after consulting a Fae doctor who lived in the human world. I was happy to share the good news with my mate and the Pack. The Rogue Pack of wolves attacked me on my way home. Bodyguards and I fought hard to get through the Packs. The bodyguards died. Rogue wolves abducted me. I was in prison, shackled with a woman, Gina Hayes." My eyes widened at the last name.

"Yes, Gina Hayes, your mother," Emily said with a sad smile, looking lost in memories.

"So Rogue's wolves captured you both?" I asked in desperation, wanting to learn more.

"The mastermind was Janice, the Hellfire Rogue wolf; Janice bewitched Rogue wolves to abduct us."

"Why were you both abducted? Why didn't Alpha Lloyd or maybe my dad come to find my mother?" I asked.

"The reason for the abduction of Gina and me is because the unborn child in our womb was a power that could stop the Hellfire monsters from reaching paradise. She had left no traces of Gina and me to track down. Janice told us how she plotted by lying to our mates that we were dead by the Rogue wolf attacks. She staged our fake corpse and took our blood and hair in case they ran a DNA test on it." Emily paused as she drank the water to gulp the pain she felt as she narrated.

"Janice tried every way possible to kill our unborn child, but she failed because dark magic didn't work on us because you two held a power of light. Somehow, Gina and I escaped. We found shelter in the human world to give birth. Gina and I plan to go separate ways to safeguard you and Silas' lives, also to meet our mates, and tell the truth. I got a message from Gina mentioning that a rogue wolf killed her mate. I rushed to the Silver Canines pack, but on the way, was attacked by rogues, so I thought I was wrong. The attack came from the Silver canine guards, and a man who reeked to be one of the pack members took Silas away from me and left me to die."

"I don't get one thing. You met Janice at the Met Gala; didn't you recognize her?" I asked.

"Janice can disguise herself in any form. I couldn't figure it out," Emily whispered.

"How did you survive? Did you meet your mate, Lloyd? Or my mother."

"I did. Meet Gina, who saved me, taking me to the witch clan to heal me. When I woke up from being comatose, two decades had passed by. I didn't know what happened to Gina or my mate, or who was the traitor who took my son away. I didn't know if my son was alive or not. Until I met Janice once again in another meeting."

"How did you meet her?" I asked.

"Witch clan was generous enough. Witches looked after me comatose for two decades and let me stay with them as their own because I held a witch bloodline and learned from them for four years, and I was the only expert at healing almost every sickness. Learning the praise of my skill spread across the mystical realm, Alpha Silas summoned me to the silver canines to heal his Luna, who was sick. When I saw Alpha Silas, my wolf sensed he was my son, but I was not sure. Until Maya needs my help to take down Alpha Silas, her real identity was Janice disguising herself as Alpha Silas' mate."

"What the fuck…?" I gasped. Emily's eyes tear as she narrates. "So Janice created a fake mate bond to kill Silas? Maya was not his first mate?" I asked. Emily nodded her head.

"Didn't Maya... I mean, Janice recognized you when she asked for your help?" I asked. "Also, how come Janice doesn't age like other wolves?"

"No, because I wore the disguise of a witch. When I was summoned to the Pack, I had to find the traitor and find a clue about what happened to my mate and my son. Janice's powers don't let her age at all because she feeds on the souls of humans to maintain her age." Emily added as she removed the disguise. I looked at the ocean's blue eyes and fair skin, which matched Raven's long hair. All the features of these women resembled Silas so well.

"Your real name is Emily or something else."

"It's Emily," she said with a sad smile.

"I heard Silas's first Maya died mysteriously. Do you know how, or did she plot her death scene?" I asked.
