Hope, Love and Trust
Elena - POV
Yuri quickly came in front of me, shielding me from the wolf, but she sighed in relief and peeked over to see Silas shifting back into human form. “Yuri, what happened?” Silas’ eyes settled on me. I couldn’t help but peek at his damn dick like a pervert again. Silas caught my eye, and I quickly averted my gaze as my cheeks turned hot in embarrassment.
Yuri explained what had happened to Silas. I could see Silas’s face change with concern. “Yuri, try to wake them up.”
“Won’t they ask questions about how they all passed out together? It will raise suspicion in the crew.” Yuri added an appropriate point. Silas looked in thought. So did I give a reason to suffice the crew by raising no suspicion?
“How about blaming Jake?”
“I don’t follow,” Yuri said.
“Yuri, you can tell the crew to put something on crew food and drinks to abduct me, and you and Silas fought back the abductor sent by Jake?”
“Yes, perfect idea. We can blame Jake. Everyone knows how crazy that asshole Jake can go to any lengths to harm you.” Yuri added with resentment.
“Yuri, go ahead with the idea. Elena, I need to speak with you.” Silas said.
“Silas, can we catch up later? I need to see if the crew is doing okay.” I added a look at Yuri walking towards the unconscious members.
“I will wait for you, Elena, near my car,” Silas said with a sad tinge of voice as he left, and damn, his fine ass distracted me as he strolled away from the forest. Yuri used some magic with the help of a potion vial as. I stood out from Yuri, not getting affected by magic.
“What the fuck happened?” Cindy said through the muddled gaze. Yuri narrates and blames Jake.
“Lord, that man is sick,” Cindy muttered. She looked at me, slowly walking towards me. “Are you doing okay? We can postpone the shoot until this Jake psycho gets caught.”
“No, we have only a few scenes to shoot and wrap up. We can’t halt the work for some asshole.” I hissed. Cindy sighed at me, giving me a sympathetic gaze. I asked the crew if they were up for filming, and the team was up to work as I filmed my scenes.
“Take a break, all of you,” Cindy ordered, her eyes directing me to rest. I wanted to shoot more, but the crew was tired of my energy today. I see Yuri and Silas sitting in the backend.
Shit, I was supposed to meet Silas to talk. I forgot because of the filming.
“You were splendid at the street fight scene. Did you take lessons?” Yuri asked. I smiled with a nod. I could see Silas gleaming with pride.
“Elena, can you come here?” Cindy called. I excused myself before Silas could speak to me. “Elena, we just have one last scene to take up, which is a rejection of mates.”
“We need Drake for that. He is not in,” I replied.
“How about we use Mr. Ford as a substitute? Also, Drake and Mr. Ford have a similar height, and the editing team will edit Mr. Ford’s face to Drake’s,” Cindy added.
“I don’t know if Silas would be up for the task.”
“I will play the substitute, Cindy.” I looked over my shoulder to see Silas standing with a smile, and Cindy smiled and gave Silas a heated look. She asked the crew to set up the props. Silas, dressed up in casual Vannel branded clothes, looked sharper. I averted my gaze to see Yuri looking at us with excitement.
I felt nervous as Silas stood opposite me. “Nervous,” Silas asked.
“Nope.” I quickly said, concealing my composure with my posture of acting.
“Three…. Two…...One…” Cindy counted as the camera went on filming us.
{Acting Scene - The names are changed - Ella is Elena’s actor's name, and Silas's name is Alpha Jacob.}
“Alpha…. we both can’t be mates… I am a rogue wolf.” I whispered in grief.
“I won’t reject you at all. So what if you are a rogue? We are mates?”
“No, Alpha Jacob, the pack is unhappy with the decision. You should select a Luna from your pack.”
“Ella, you always push me. I can’t take it anymore.” He closed the distance as my heart skipped a beat, which felt natural.
“You can’t let me go. I will. The Luna of blue night Ella Forest rejects Alpha Jacob….” I gasped as my frame crushed against him.

“I know the real reason for you not accepting me, Elena; Dr. Rudolf couldn’t hide the truth from me.” He whispered next to my ear, startling me.
“Elena, don’t push me, and let me stay by your side.” Tears formed in my eyes at his plea.
“Silas, I have little time; why do you insist on me being your mate who is so weak?” I choked with emotion.
“I want to spend every single time you have with you and give you all the happiness and Love, Elena. You have stolen my heart. I don’t know when that happened, but it did. I will fight with everything to gain affection and trust in myself and never hurt you.” Silas whispered with such sincerity. My heart skipped at his confession.
“Silas, I have been in many relationships and got hurt. If I put my trust and affection in you, do you promise you will not let my last hope of trust and love be broken ever?” I asked, with my tears rolling down my cheeks.
“I will keep that promise with my dying breath, Elena, just give me a chance to be yours only, and you be mine forever,” Silas said with gravity, and I could tell he was not fooling with words but meant them.
“I accept you as my mate, Silas Ford,” I whispered with a gleeful grin as Silas wiped the tears from my cheeks. Silas’ firm lips against mine, the warmth spreading through my body. His hands are on my nape and I tangled my fingers in his soft hair. Silas’s lips caressed with love. I grazed my lips with the same affection.
We both broke apart to catch our breaths, and I heard a clapping sound from around. I realized all the crew witnessed our conversation.
“Did they hear everything we spoke?” I mumbled in shock.
“Nope, not everything. I censored some words with my magic.” Silas chuckled at me.
Yuri rushed to me, pulling in a bear hug. I see the crew and Cindy’s eyes gleaming with happy tears. My eyes moved to see Drake standing in the distance with a sulking expression. He walked up to us, concealing his expression.
“Congratulations Silas and Elena,” he said. The pain in his voice was obvious to me. I felt sad to see him hurt, but Drake was a good friend to me. I wish I could have time to explain myself, but I think Drake doesn’t want to hear it. His expression tells me he knew this would happen.
“Silas, I need to speak with Drake. Don’t be mad. It’s Just___.”
“Hey… no need for an explanation, Elena; I know you are mine. I trust you,” he said with a confident grin. He kissed my forehead, walked to his vehicle, and waited for me. I rushed to the drake before taking off in his car.
He halted after hearing my footsteps and turned to look at me. “Elena.” he raised an eyebrow in question.
“Drake, I am sorry to hurt you. To me, you are a valuable friend,” I said with a sad gleam.
“Why are you apologizing because you have done nothing wrong?”
“I know you have a feeling for me.” I paused as I glanced at him, who looked at me with a vulnerable gaze.
“It doesn’t matter, Elena; I always saw your eyes spark around Silas, unlike with me. It’s my fault, not yours.” Drake said with a sad smile.
“I am sure you will meet a good woman, Drake.” He nodded at me.
“If you need a friend, Elena, you will always have me,” Drake said. I pulled in a hug. “Here, take this.” Drake handed me a dragon pendant.
“This looks expensive,” I whispered.
“It belonged to you. My father gave me this pendant to give to you anyway.” Drake said sadly. Before I could decline, Drake hopped in his car and left. I looked at the Drake car leaving.
I walked back to see Silas and Yuri waiting for me. “Finally, I call you Luna,” Yuri spoke cheerily. I smiled at her. We all headed to pack to discuss with Emily the mystery shrine illusion I had. When I entered Wolfland, I saw the crowded surroundings at Silas Mansion.
