Sidestory - Part one
Elena - POV
"Arf," I blinked as I saw Bruno climb up with a beaming smile and a wailing tail.
"Bruno, how often do I tell you not to wake me up? I hardly slept." I growled as I tried to sit on my bed, but it was difficult as my baby hump grew bigger. So I lay on the bed.
"Master"
"How many times have I told you to call me Elena? Bruno," I hissed as he looked at me with sad eyes, but I petted his head as he nuzzled me, making me smile.
"Elena, I was told to wake you up, Silas. He said you need to take your medication on time." Bruno said. I sighed with a groan. trying to sit up again.
"El, easy there." Silas came forward, keeping the breakfast tray aside and helping me. He filled the tray with honey waffles and poured some pomegranate juice, which was not to my liking.
"You should eat El; stop petting that dog." Bruno and Silas growled at each other as I took a bite of the food.
"Elena, how about you find me a mate?" Bruno asked, ignoring Silas's glare that told him to leave the room. I blurted out the idea of Bruno's fantastic suit and his bride in a dress.
"I don't want to dress up like humans. I am happy to just _____."
"Don't complete the sentences," I growled.
"To hump my mate and have three or four little pups," Bruno added. "Why such a disgusted face? Do you know it's annoying to hear you humping, and I have to run into the woods to avoid moans?" Silas smirked at me, and I felt embarrassed.
"Fine, we will go to a pet shop to find you a suitable woman." Bruno barked happily, and Silas nodded his head. I try to get away from Silas and Bruno, who are arguing about Bruno wanting to hump in the house with his mate, but Silas orders him to go into the woods. I took the juice and tried to put it in the flower pot.
My hand stopped when I saw a long and firm hand gripping me from pouring the glass. "What do you think you are doing, my love?" He said it in a sweet tone, and I gave him an awkward smile.
"The plants looked thirsty, so I thought to pour some juice," I muttered with annoyance.
"El, this is good for your health and our triplets, too." Silas tried to reason with me, and I wouldn't say I liked it.
"Come, be a good girl, El; I may reward you with other treats you like." Silas's ocean-blue eyes sparkled with lust, and I gulped down the juice and medicine, unable to pass up the chance. The doctor had told us not to do sexual things while I am pregnant because of how fragile my health is. Though I tried to seduce Silas, he used to run away, trying hard to get away.
"Here you guys go humping, and I am here alone," Bruno said with a sad gaze. Silas and I sighed at Bruno.
"Be ready at night, love." He purred as he kissed me and led Bruno out of my room. I stalked down slowly to find Emily knitting some baby clothes.
"Elena, good you are here. Take this." She gave me some cookies, and I enjoyed the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.
"Did you figure out about Yuri?" Emily stopped her knitting and looked at me with a sad look as I asked. I looked at her with concern. "I found out from Abi."
"Who, Abi? Oh, wait, I remembered the witch clan head." She nodded.
"Yuri Wolf seems to have a curse that blocks her mate's bond, and her wolf's strength is hindered." I blinked at the new information.
"Could there be a chance of breaking this curse or what?" I asked.
"I am not sure, Elena, but this curse is rare by birth. If others had cast it on her, we witch could undo the curse, but when the curse mark is from birth, it's difficult." Emily explained, and I sighed, dismayed, feeling bad for Yuri's fate.
"What, Mac? He said it attracted his wolf to Yuri."
"It could be possible that Mac could be Yuri's mate. Because of the curse, Mac's wolf must be confused. It's my theory, not sure." I rubbed the bridge of my head.
"When did you speak with Yuri about this?" Emily asked.
"Once she returns to Pack, I will," I said, but I was not sure how to break such news.
"Should we have a baby shower, El?" Silas walked in with a smile, and I looked at Bruno and the other dog walking at his side. Bruno was happily wagging his tail.
"No, Silas, I need rest and am not interested in meeting and greeting people," I added.
"Elena, I found my mate. Can you name her, please?" Bruno said, and Emily sighed, hearing his words. Bruno barked at Emily's annoying sigh.
"How about browny? She had beautiful brown fur," Emily said. Bruno barked, not liking it.
"How about fluffy?" Silas added, and Bruno barked, declining.
"Dora"
"I like that name," Dora said, and Bruno howled in happiness.
"Mother, can you mask Dora's scent?" I sighed. The wolves don't like stray dogs, though they are fellow line creatures. I never understood the reason yet. Emily, Bruno, and Dora left the Mansion for a walk, giving us some privacy.
"Did you see how much love our wedding photos are getting online?" Silas said with cheer, which surprised me, as he never cared about people or even being active on social platforms. Could it be because of me?
Silas showed me the views and comments, though it had been nine months since I posted our wedding photos on social platforms, as my PR forced me to do so. Many people wanted to see our live wedding telecast, but I couldn't post wolf shifting and all the naked frames and wolf marking.
"Silas, are you alright?" Silas blinked at me for seconds and closed, examining his expression. He looked worried.
