Sidestory - Part Two

Elena - POV

“Nothing,” Silas added with his poker face, and I glared at him in response.

“Don’t let me use mind-reading magic on you,” I growled. He sighed as he shook his head at my threat.

“Fine, I will tell you,” Silas said, looking at me, but his frown of concern had me worried. “You know I am scared, Elena. Will I be a good father? I don’t know how a family works in the first place____” I halt his speech and place my finger on his lips. I held his hand and placed it on my baby bump.

"My intuition tells me, Silas, that you will be a brilliant father. I understand your doubt. Emily told me we would be great parents." I kissed his lips as Silas relaxed after hearing my words, and his lips grazed against mine.

“I miss this,” Silas mumbled as his lips kissed my collarbone, and his hand held my nape firmly, my hands tangled in his silk hair. He cradled my frame and took me to the room. Seeing his naked body made my heart race. Silas undressed me slowly and nibbled on my skin; I couldn't stop moaning. The passionate kiss that Silas gave me showed how much he loved and admired me. Silas paused when he saw me in pain.

“Elena, you are okay.” I heaved, feeling an intense agony rising inside my belly.

“My water broke, Silas; call the doctors.” I groaned in pain, and Silas quickly dressed, and my mind linked to everyone. I held the bedsheet on a naked frame as the doctor walked in. Emily and Yuri came in, and so did Mac.

Silas held my hand as the doctor infused me with an epidural. I moaned in pain.

“You need to push the child, Luna,” the doctor said, and I did as I screamed in pain.

“Push, Elena”

“Push,” everyone in the room chorused.

“Shut up; how about you guys push three kids at a time?” I growled, and the room went quiet. My eyes looked at Silas, who looked pale as he saw the childbirth. So did Mac. In a few seconds, Mac fainted, and so did Silas. Emily shook her head with a sigh, and Yuri fainted next to see the procedure. I couldn’t laugh, as the pain was too much to smile. Three crying voices fell on my ears, and happy tears rolled down my cheeks.

“Silas Wake up, your three sons are born,” Emily growled as Silas woke up to see the doctor and nurses holding our child, and my eyes turned heavy.

Silas - POV

“What happened to Elena?” I panicked, seeing her pass out.

“Alpha, she passed out from exhaustion. She will be fine.” I breathed a sigh of relief as I held my sons, and it filled my heart with warmth as I placed them in the crib and kissed Elena on the forehead.

Yuri and Mac came to their senses and looked at the kids with awe. My mother was emotional, too, seeing her grandson’s birth; the entire room was bright with the joy and crying of three sons, and we all did our best to calm down, but they didn’t stop crying.

“My sons,” Elena’s said; she was trying to get up but stopped her movement, and Emily, Yuri, and Mac brought the triplets to Elena, who looked so overjoyed to see the faces of her sons, and the crying stopped as toddlers basked in the mother's embrace.

“What should we name our sons?” I asked.

“Killian, Kevin, and Knox,” I added.

“Wow! you are using all three Ks,” Yuri chimed. I smile.

“I love the name,” I added, kissing our sons and my mate. Bruno and Dora barked in, agreeing with me, too.

“Come, Yuri, Mac, let them have family time alone,” my mother said, taking Yuri, Mac, Bruno, and Dora out.

The love and support of my family meant the world to me. I've never been this content in all my life, and it's all because my spouse has given me such wonderful things. Elena gave me a tearful look, and I knew she'd figured out what I was thinking. I wanted her to understand that she and my sons are my worlds, and anyone who tries to harm them will die. Elena responded by kissing my lips.
