Celeste
Silas - POV
Seeing the scene around the bloodshed and the injured guards withering in pain. I howled, instructing my guards to change the fight strategy as I took charge, shredding the wolves from the blood pack and putting them to death.
I noticed Theo was not among his soldiers, nor his Beta; I instructed Yuri to go to the dungeons to look after Janice and Jake shouldn't escape, and I sent Mac back to the Mansion next to Elena for protection.
"Silas, let us kill them quickly. I will let you use your new power," Ray said.
"I don't know how to control such speed and energy. It's dangerous." I answered, snapping at the necks of wolves coming at me. Until yesterday, I had never experienced such strength or magic coursing through my veins. It's a mystery I need to find out from Emily.
The enemy soldiers decrease in numbers as I let my pack guards handle these dimwits. I try to pick up on Theo and Luke's scent. It came from the dungeons as I sprinted towards the Dungeons to see Yuri taking on Luke.
"Alpha. Stop Theo; he is in Dungeons." Yuri linked.
I entered the dungeon to see Theo was dead, and Janice was nowhere to be seen. Jake's eyes looked at me, horrified.
"What happened?" Jake met my stare with shock.
"I don't know," Jake hissed.
"Alpha…." Yuri paused, looking at Theo and seeing the cell that Janice kept unlocked.
"What should I do with him?" Yuri asked as I looked at the unconscious Beta.
"Put him in the cell," I said. "Also, get my extraction tools. I need it." I could see the fear in Jake's eyes. Yuri got the tools and left me alone with Jake. The head guard mind linked me to inform me about the victory of our Pack over the Blood Pack.
"You have tortured my mate. I should repay tenfold the same you caused her." I used a Piler tool coated with Fae blood to intensify pain in any mythical creature. Extracting his fingers one by one from which he had tormented Elena.
"I am enjoying his cry," Ray said.
Jake begged to stop, but I didn't stop until I extracted Jake's ten fingers. "Where did Janice go?" I asked.
"I don't know, I swear. I saw true power today when Janice killed Theo, Janice's hybrid wolf of Hellfire." For a second, I stopped listening to his words. Recalling, Emily had described some of the new species she had encountered. This hybrid can shapeshift or disguise. They have the power to kill any mythical creature. Only two powers can stop such a kind; the pure wolf and her protector.
I strode to the Mansion, ordering Yuri to look after the prisoners and get more information from Jake. I looked at myself. I need to shower to get the blood and dirt off me. The safe room was where I found Emily and Elena, Mac.
"Thank heavens you are safe," Elena whispered.
"Emily, Mac, can you take a walk?" He nodded. Leaving me behind with Elena.
"Elena, I need to know what happened in the Blood Pack. Where did you sneak off with Emily?"
Elena explained what happened at the Shrine, clarifying that her power is not a hybrid. She is a pure wolf, and I am the protector. Everything falls into place. Elena's seal is broken, and I find my power the same day.
I disclosed to Elena the new power I felt after the broken seal. Elena gasped when she learned about Theo's demise and Janice's escape. Jake confesses to Janice's powers.
"So Janice is the master, and Theo was only a pawn," Elena whispered.
"It seems so," I whispered.
"Silas, I need to know how to shift or how this works. I mean, I need to help you.." Elena said. It felt like she was thinking of herself as a burden.
"How about walking to Moonflower chapel if you can hear your wolf again?" I suggested. Elena's face gleamed with hope. Mac and Emily looked at us as we stepped out of the room. I sensed the elderly of the Pack were heading to my mansion to inquire about the sudden war that broke out. I linked Mac to handle them as I took Elena and Emily to the rear of the Mansion to the chapel.

Elena - POV
Standing under the chapel light, I shut my eyes, taking a few deep breaths as Silas had asked me to calm myself and concentrate on the magic I felt within me. A few minutes passed by. I felt no magic at all. I felt like giving up.
"Don't give up on me, Elena." A sweet feminine voice appeared in my head. It startled me as I opened my eyes to find my reflection in the mirror. My eyes were deep golden.
"You are… My wolf…" I asked.
"Yes, I am Celeste, the moon goddess's first she-wolf."
I could sense every voice from the faraway forest. The people of the pack snitch on the neighboring packs. The distinctive scent around me filled my nostrils, but the one scent stood out of all.
I looked at Silas, who peered at me with happiness as he walked to me. Silas's scent held minty and fresh grass cut. Silas caressed my cheeks gently. I could help, but his firm lips as my wolf purred in my head with delight. Every stroke of his kiss against mine gave pleasure to every fiber of my body. The feeling of kissing Silas brings a new sense of pleasure I could never imagine existed until now.
"Elena…. My mate," he whispered.
The sound of a clearing throat broke our magical spell. I looked over Silas' shoulder to see if Emily was looking at us uncomfortably. I entangled myself and kept a distance from Silas, who held a frown at Emily's presence but recovered his poise.
"Congratulations, Elena, you finally met your wolf," Emily said with a cheerful voice.
"I still have to shift right," I asked Emily and Silas.
"The first shift will be a painful one, but I will help you shift," Silas added.
"I can use my magic to numb the strain when you shift," Emily added.
"Alpha, we found Letty's signal coming from the Blood Pack." Mac's voice appeared in my head, and I looked at Silas in shock. How did I hear Mac's voice?
"You heard Mac," Silas' question appeared in my head. I nodded. "It's your wolf, Elena. She is the first she-wolf created, and she can hear every other wolf's thoughts and mind links." Silas explained.
As we walked back to the Mansion, everyone in the Pack could sense my wolf energy because they bowed their heads to me in respect. I heard Mac still narrating to the Pack's elders what went down in the festival and how Theo was the one to start the war on our Pack. The elder mentioned how to suppress the rumors about Silas killing every Alpha to take over their packs from them and be the sole Alpha king to rule the entire wolf kingdom.
"Why did our plan to assassinate Silas fail so miserably?" A voice appeared in my head, and Celeste informed me the voice appeared coming from Henry. It was scary that I could read everyone's thoughts now.
"I wish I could tell my son, Silas, I am a biological mother, not a witch. I have to wait to tell the truth as I still don't know who is the traitor in this Pack and what more danger awaits." Emily's thoughts froze me. Silas looked at me in question, seeing my reaction.
