Epilogue
*Five Years Later....*

"Isaiah! Come down here and grab your stuff please!" I call up the stairs.
I step away from the staircase and walk around the living room humming softly.
I hear Isaiah's feet stomping down the stairs quickly and I turn to smile up at him.
"Sorry, mom." He says with his sweet apologetic smile.
"It's okay, I just don't want Luna getting into your stuff," I tell him bouncing my one-year-old daughter on my hip as I watch Isiah.
He throws his backpack over his shoulder and walks over to kiss his sister on the cheek. He is an amazing big brother and I feel blessed that he has never felt jealous when his other siblings were born.
That's right, plural. After things had settled down and our pack started to rebuild thanks to the help of the other packs who had come to fight alongside us, things settled a lot. Many members ended up meeting their true mates and things have only gotten better. The other packs decided to stay with us and we had all the room we needed to make that happen. Even some other packs from other states have requested to come here in search of their mates.
So many had been traveling to our lands that we decided to hold an annual gathering of any packs that wished to come to visit and find their mates. This has allowed so many packs to prosper and grow like never before.
The Blood Demons who had survived the attack on our pack were able to be rehabilitated thanks to a little help from my blood. Apparently, my special blood was enough to reverse the curse Freddie's blood had created. When they had all fully recovered we offered to let them remain with us, but we were told that many of their kind was still trapped. They asked to return home and try to rebuild their own community, which I happily agreed with.
After a short time, Freddie's mother called on all the surviving Mages to come a meet the Queen of the Supernaturals. Or so she calls me, but I don't feel like a queen at all. I feel the same as I always have, like me. I know who I am to the world now and that they look at me as a leader, but I will always be true to myself and that means never forgetting where I belong. I don't want to live in a castle far away from the world looking down at all below me. I want to be here with my family, and that's exactly where I have been all these years.
The supernatural world isn't broken and doesn't need a leader, but we have put in a lot of effort to make sure I can be reached by anyone in need of my help. We were relieved to be contacted by a small group of Fae who had survived the attack on the Fae world. We were not able to restore the world they lost but we set up the land around our pack lands into a small Fae community.
It was less than a year before I found out we would be adding a pup to our family. We welcomed another pup the year after and then this past year we welcomed Luna, our only daughter. She is the first Fae child to be born to a hybrid and has yet to show whether she will possess the gene to shift or not.
Isaiah's powers tampered off as he got older from unuse, and has decided not to tap into his odd powers at all. We were then happy to support his choice, but Thomas has secret hopes that one day he will be able to train our son the way he trained me.
Our world has settled down but things never stay quiet for long. We are enjoying our slice of heaven while we can and if the time comes for me to defend my people once again, I'll be ready.
It's what I was born to do. It's my destiny.
