Chapter 107

Gabby had selected this dress for her and Carlos was the one who bought it, the dress is a red straight dress with a single hand and she was wearing one of the red heel Carlos bought for her.



Gabby had helped her apply so makeup and her hair was pulled down on her shoulder, making her more beautiful she must admit.



The birthday party was held on the fifth floor of the hotel which made Triffany walk over to the elevator, she arrived just in time to see it closing and she stuck her hand in the middle to stop it in time.



She breaths a sigh of relief as she stepped inside the elevator, only a man stood next to her, she made a little bow and turned around as the elevator door close, she pressed her floor and adjusted her dress.



The man behind her smile as his lips parted, his eyes twinkle like what he had just seen was the biggest lottery in the world. "Hello, Triffany Joey."



Triffany heard the man call her name almost in a whisper as she turned around to have a clear look on who it was, her eyes immediately widen at recognition. "Jimmy Billy..."



Jimmy had called Gabby thirty minutes ago, he had asked her out and she tried to play hard to get, telling him that she would have gone to a birthday party with her brother's wife but, she would cancel since her brother was going with his wife.



Jimmy had asked her where the party was and Gabby who had no clue why he was asking, told him the address since Triffany told her. Jimmy want to meet Triffany, so he told Gabby he told Gabby that he will be a bit late, telling her that something came up.



Jimmy who was right outside Carlos mansion had seen Triffany drove out and he noticed that she was not with Carlos which will give him the perfect opportunity to speak to her alone.



He had arrived first at the hotel, when he noticed Triffany coming in, he had purposely pressed the elevator door to close, making her stop in in time.



"Triffany Joey." He called out her name since she did not recognise him maybe because she was in a haste to get into the elevator.



Triffany turned around when she heard her name and she looked at the tall figure standing behind her and her breathing seize for a moment. "Jimmy Billy." She gasped and the gift she had bought for Nick fell down, as she moved back to the elevator wall.



"We finally meet again Triffany Joey." Jimmy told her with the smile as he walked closer to her and in one quick move he pulled her into a big hug, with his eyes closed as he inhaled. "Oh how I have missed you Triffany." He spoke softly this time.



For a long moment Triffany couldn't move, she just stood still, with her eyes closed. "Jimmy Billy." She muttered this time.



"Yes, it is me." Jimmy embraced her more closely, with a much smiles on his lips, he was glad that she recognised him. Triffany seems to get back to her senses and she pulled away from his embrace.



She look at his face again for a long while and muttered. "Where have you been? Are you really okay?" She asked him with worry in her eyes.



Jimmy touched her face, caressing it softly. "I am okay, i came back to get what is rightfully mine." Triffany looked up at his eyes, pressing her lips together. "I came back to get you Triffany." He said softly and she swallowed hard.



Oh no!



Beep!



The elevator door open and Triffany hurriedly picked Nick's gift and stepped out with Jimmy behind her. "Triffany wait, Triffany stop!" His loud voice made her halt. He held her hands and spin her around. "Why? Aren't you also glad to see me?"



Triffany exhaled softly, her eyes almost filled with tears, why won't she be happy to see him, it was because of him...it was because of him that she got to be her today. "I am happy Jimmy, but you can't have me, I am married."



Jimmy's eyes darkened as his expression turned serious. "I know you are married Triffany, but I didn't give you the permission to, no.." He paused. "I am going to steal you from Carlos Zack!"



Triffany’s heart sink, she shook her head profusely. "You won't...do...t...hat?" She stammered, she knew it was her head speaking right now, she knew that her quivering voice was betraying her.



"Oh, sweet Triff!" Jimmy smile as his eyes glitters. "Deep inside of you, you know I can." His eyes turned cold again, which reminded Triffany of a person who can switch from a smiling face to an angry one. "Carlos Zack had something that belongs to me, and it is you...I always get what I want, one way or the other, you shall be mine."



Triffany rolled down from Triffany’s eyes and Jimmy stepped close to her and with the tip of his finger her wipe of her tears. "Don't cry Triffany, you will ruin your make up, whereas I made it clear to you that I don't want to see you cry."



He tilt his head to the side and gave her a boyish grin. "You look beautiful tonight, as much as I want to take you away right now, I know your cousin brother will be waiting. I will see some other time. Have fun in the party." He told her.



"Now go Triffany." He looked at the door that the celebration was held. "Go in before I change my mind." He gently peck her cheek and winks her before walking away.



When he was out of sight, Triffany closed her eyes and swallowed hard, all this while she had gripped her bag so tight that her hands hurt. Tears filled her eyes, but she raised her face to suppress the tears.



"Hey Triffany!" Triffany heard her name and quickly turn. "Why are you standing there and not coming in, and where is your husband?" Nick asked, looking behind her. "Is he not coming?" He paused when he noticed the tears in her eyes. "Triffany why are you crying?" He asked with worry.



Triffany who doesn't want Tommy to suspect anything force a smile. "What do you mean crying?" She blinks and raised the gift up for him to see. "Happy birthday cousin!" She shouted and flashed him a big smile.



Nick seems to fall for it and accepted the gift with a big grin. "Damn i can't wait to see what's in here." He tries to peck in but he couldn't see a thing, he shook it close to his head. "Could it the thing I have always wanted?"



Triffany rolled her eyes. "Jeez! Can you just stop acting like a kid." Nick looked her witha goofy smile. "Oh come on! You added another year to your age, you didn't decrease in age."



"Okay fine." Nick stopped acting childish. "The party just started in full blast." He put his hands around her shoulder like a big brother and lead her inside.



Damn! Like he said it was in a full blast, the music was so loud that it they had to shout to hear themselves. There was a lot of people inside the hall, dancing and drinking, a few people were sitting and playing some other games and many other familiar faces she knew were her classmates.



She wonder how Nick managed to get them all here, well it was obvious that Nick was a social person and he had a lot of friends too, this was the type of party Nick told her that he prefer.



"Nick, this is so loud!" Triffany shouted in order for him to hear her.



"Yes!" Nick shouted. "That’s why I chose this place, the doors are soundproof, so other than us in here, no one else could be disturbed." He told her as Allison who had had a few drink came over.



"Triffany you're here?" Allison gave her a big hug. "I thought you will never make it. Where is your husband?" Allison looked behind her.



Speaking of Triffany’s husband, she knew she had to call and inform him how noisy it will be here and also tell him to not bother coming since he won't like this type of place, his image and all. "I don't know if he will be here." Allison and Nick nod like they were already expecting that.



"I knew, just take a look at the people here, none of them are wearing a wealthy suit or anything, they look so free, this is definitely not a party for your husband." Allison said making a funny figure with his finger.



She had definitely lost it. "Allison you're drunk." Triffany told her and Allison wave her hands.



"No am not, it's my brother's birthday, I need to have a blast!" She shouted so that I can here her, it wasn't a usual thing for Allison to be this way, she had always watched what she did in public, today, she must want to be this way, she really want to have her moment.



They tuned on our favourite music and Triffany, Allison and Nick looked at themselves with the big eyes and goofy smile. "No way!" They shouted at the same time a ran to the middle of the hall, dancing and singing together, other students joined in the dance and all about meeting Jimmy Billy again was forgotten by Triffany for a while.
