Chapter 129

Carlos wonder what had actually happened to make her act this way. "What happened here?" He asked her.

Triffany looked left and right. "She is here." Triffany mumbled what Carlos can't hear. "She is here." She said again and she stare up at Carlos.

"Who are you talking about?" He asked her and Triffany pushed his hands away and rush over to the next room, Carlos stood still for a while before going after her.

When he came into the room, he saw Triffany standing still and looking at the bed. "What is wrong Triffany?" He asked her and then he turn his eyes to the bed.

"She was right here." Triffany pointed at the bed and Carlos look at Triffany with a confused expression, her face was pale and her eyes were filled with tears.

"Who was here?"

Triffany look at Carlos, her hands still pointing at the bed. "The lady, Jimmy's fiancée." Carlos eyes widened with shock.

Jimmy stood by Suzy Dee grave, a single flower on the stone, his hands clasped together in his front as he stare down to her picture with tears in his eyes.

"What should I do now Suzy?" He sniffle as a single tears rolled down his cheek.

He rubs his hands to his eyes. "I lose my sanity without you Suzy, this time i will stop at nothing until I get her and torture her."

He runs his hands through his hair. "You won't be alone Suzy." He bent low, touched the picture and then smiled coldly.

"An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." That was his final word before walking out.

He got into his car and made a phone call. "Get ready Jon, am coming back to New Zealand, but I am not coming alone."

"Who will you come with?" Jon, a male voice asked him from the other side of the line.

Jimmy looked out of the window to the place Suzy had been buried. "With my fiancee." He made a crooked laugh and hung up.

His eyes darkened as he started the car engine and then he accelerated, speeding off with a new agenda on his mind.

Triffany just lay on bed her bed at the villa with tears in her eyes, Carlos had brought her home and she asked him for some space.

He had obediently left even if it was against his will, he knew she had seen something that made her like that, will Triffany ever see the same lady she was again.

He was even more scared now than ever, she had seen Jimmy's fiancée again, but she didn't tell him if she was dead or alive.

She had been silently crying all the way back home, he had tucked her in, but he knew she was still crying and may not be able to sleep for now.

"Carlos, what is Triffany guilty of?" Gabby who had come to the villa asked her brother.

It has been days since she saw them, and she was so worried after receiving that call from Jimmy.

Carlos just poured himself a glass of brandy and staring into space at the balcony facing the beach. "She feel guilty that she has been the cause of Jimmy's fiancée." He said softly.

"I don't understand." Gabby leans by the rail and look at her brother seriously, as she wait for him to explain.

Carlos told her everything since he hardly hide things from her and Gabby gasped with an open lips.

"So that was how this all started." She muttered and Carlos sip his drink without looking at her.

"Triffany is not guilty of any crime." Gabby spoke boldly this time almost angry at Jimmy. "It was just an ill fate for Jimmy's fiancée."

"Carlos, you need to stop Triffany from thinking of all this, she has a baby and shouldn't stress her head or be depressed." Gabby said seriously, looking at her brother intensely.

"I want to, but I don't think she can stop either." He rubs his forehead gently and exhaled softly like he had to let out something heavy from his heart.

"She saw the lady today." He told his sister and Gabby's eyes went wide. "Jimmy took her and showed his fiancée to her again."

"Is she still alive?" Gabby said in a rush. "Is she dead?" She asked again.

"I don't know..." Carlos closed his eyes momentarily and touched the space between his eyesbrow. "She won't tell me what she actually saw, she only kept repeating that Jimmy was the one in pain and that she was here."

Carlos runs his hands through his hair. "I don't know what to do Gabby." Carlos voice was thin like he was a sobbing kid. "I am losing Triffany too, I don't know what she will say and I don't even know how to help her."

"I am so lost and out of ideas right now." He said in hoarse voice. "We should be happy after all this, we should be planning for the child that we are about to have, we should be the happy couple after finding love in each other, but..."

He paused, he rubs his hands to his eyes and sniffles. "But...every thing seems to be out of control, I can't even deal with Jimmy because of the guilt Triffany have."

Gabby gently embraced her brother, she knew that even if Carlos act so tough on the outside, he was weak on the inside, and will always try to hide his pain.

"Hey brother, you can do well if you set your mind to it." She pay him softly in the back. "I will have to talk to Triffany, you should rest now."

"I wish it can all go back." Carlos muttered. "I wish I have met Triffany three years again and had told her during that accident that it was not her fault over and over again until she forget about it."

"You can still do that now Carlos, you should be strong for Triffany and put flowers in her heart, let me also help you." Gabby leans back and took a close look on her brother's face.

Carlos looked at his sister, he was glad to hear this from her, the last time he had asked for her help in stopping the marriage between him and Triffany she had blatantly refused him.

But hearing this now from her had made his heart a bit warm. "How will you help me Gabby?" He asked her, he only knew she was very good at playing around.

He had initially wanted her to display one of her childish plays on his wedding and make it not happen and he will clear the mess up later, but she had refused, now he was wondering what her plan this time will be.

"Leave it to the master of the game." She told her brother in one simple words and gave him a reassuring smile.

This made him chuckle, his sister sometimes act silly in something to take serious, but what else can he do, he knew that Gabby was good in making people happy even if she is a brat at times.

Now he can't wait to know what her plans will be, but he knew that at the end he still has to clean some of her mess, but he will never let her endanger her life, he was going to protect his sister, his wife and their baby.
